It's only been open since the summer, but the owner (Jessica) has been doing hair for like 16+ years. She matched my hair color so well, even without having to bring out a color swatch...I was super impressed. Her and her associate even teamed up to get my hair color on pronto for even application (I have a lot of hair). Bonus for NOT over trimming my long hair, even though I know it wasn't her personal preference for me. The salon itself is cozy and has those little details that make your visit comfortable, like drinks, chocolates, a clean bathroom, and a purse hanger at every station!! I also loved that they use/sell a more natural & cruelty free hair care line called Kevin Murphy.

When I get shots at other places, I always get really nervous about the needles--like how much they hurt. But whenever I go to Walgreen's I can even look at the needles when they put them in my skin. Special shout-outs to Katie and Amy because they are REALLY good at giving shots. I never feel the needles when they do it. (Well, of course, sometimes I feel it.) I recommend you try Walgreen's for all shots! Also, they have a lot of prescriptions--both pills and gummies--making it easy for kids to take them. I've seen the shelves before and I've seen like hundreds of prescriptions. So whenever you need a prescription, just go right to Walgreen's and get it.

I waited for 10 minutes at the window to pick up a prescription and nobody acknowledged that I was there. Katie was on the phone and I asked if someone was going to help. With a smirk on her face, she said "I'm on the phone." No "I'm sorry. I'll be with you in a moment." Or, "I'm sorry for the wait but we are so busy. I'll be with you soon." Nothing. She hang up with whoever she was talking and said "we are busy." I said that I would change pharmacies because it is not the first time she has talked to me that way. She said "That is your choice and good luck. All the pharmacies are busy." When I get the prescription they are working on at this location I will change pharmacies, since they don't need my business. I don't need them either. It won't be another Walgreens.

Second, the power went out and I proceeded to leave with wet hair. Third, because my hair was wet I couldn't see how sad my highlights were. It doesn't even look like I had them done. Fourth, I couldn't pay because management is too incompetent to have a back up payment system when the power is out which frequently happens there as I was told by the stylist. It was my birthday and my husband and I went away for the week, when trying to pay over the phone I am told you can't do that . Finally, my foot is broken and apparently I have to walk back in and pay for the worst hair experience of my life. Ladies, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. There is a reason they have availability. I just moved here and miss my salon desperately so if you're reading this and know of a real place to get highlights let me know please.

Most of the items they sell are marked up EVEN HIGHER than the product manufacturer's own prices! You will easily spend over $100 on a small handful of things that you could purchase for much fairer prices elsewhere. A lot of these manufacturers have official TikTok shops that are cheaper than this place. If you're worried about authenticity, there are Korean cosmetic marketplace websites/apps like Style Korean, Olive Young Global, and Stylevana just to name a few who ship 100% authentic brand items directly from Korea. Listen, if you plan on spending $100 anyway and don't need something right away, I strongly urge you to look into the online Korean marketplaces before wasting your money here. If you spend over a certain amount (usually $60) they ship for free, and I have never had to wait more than a week for a package. Not only will you get a fair price for authentic items, most of these marketplaces also have point systems. They reward points for writing reviews and for every dollar spent. These points accumulate into dollar amounts that you can use for future purchases. The most I ever got from Choc Choc was a birthday coupon that I couldn't even use on their website. Trust me, when you do the math, you won't regret shopping with the online Korean marketplaces like you will here. I'll give Choc Choc one star for the amazing customer service, but their price point demolishes the whole experience.
