3.5 stars. This place isn't bad. It's inside a gas station so I initially overlooked it. I ordered the goat biryani and soya chaap masala. I found both of them a little too sweet which, I was expecting from the masala but the biryani? Yeah, the goat rice had a slightly sweet taste. It was a little odd but it wasn't bad. The people here are super friendly. I would stop by again and try other things. read more

Great on a road trip and my whole family was happy. I loved that that there were vegan labels which made ordering so easy! I'd recommend alerting the cashier of special diets because our saag game with a splash of cream. The breads were delish and the veg curries were pretty good - it wasn't South Bay level mind blowing but absolutely satisfies a craving. Unbelievably good food. The naan in particular was so fresh and soft. We figured the atmosphere wouldn't be great inside a gas station, but it was actually pretty pleasant; there was an open area with tables and ceiling fans, and everything was clean. We ordered the butter chicken, tikka masala, samosa, garlic and butter naan bread. Loved the samosa's, insides were creamy and the fried outside had the perfect crust/crunch. The flavor of the butter chicken was good, but it was a medium spice without spice. I had the tikka masala at their highest spice, it was good, but not spicy. Both their butter and garlic naan were flavorful, but just needed a little extra cooking..a bit too soft. Overall it was a good experience. Good enough food, not excellent. This is not a buffet, if you're looking for that. You order from the counter and they have a good selection of curries, tandoor, chaat and other dishes cooked to order so very hot and fresh. Chai was watery and weaker than I've experienced in other similar restaurants. Gas station ambiance which means it was clean, basic, you can do a bit of shopping while you wait. read more

Hidden gem! I stopped for gas 2 hours from home after driving all day on the 5. Like an oasis, a miracle, here is some legit homemade food. Unexpectedly delicious food for the road. We got the veggie wrap and the grilled Tikka fish. Fish dish was loaded with fish. And the veggie wrap put a lot of burritos to shame in terms of its size and flavor. Classic Indian spices but not too spicy hot. When you need to refuel this stop has got you covered. read more

We recently moved to Patterson and, was was browsing indian restaurants to eat that could become our new favorite to go to since there's really not a lot around here. This one did not disappoint. We've only ordered a couple appetizers Golgappa Chaat and Papri Chaat but they were absolutely flavorful! The Golgappa was our favorite of the two (nice and tangy, crunchy delicious). God! This place was soooo good. Some of the most fresh delicious Indian food I've had. The veggie pakora was loaded with fresh veggie. It was fried and crunchy and sooo tasty. The samosa was so buttery and flaky, the filling was delicious mash with perfect spice. And the paneer wrap was delicious with soft pillowy naan, fresh veggies, and cheesy paneer. A few weeks later I was craving them so I decided to try out this local restaurant and I have to say the samosas were even better here. So flaky and flavorful. Was in the area planning lunch at the barbecue joint off the I-5 Patterson exit and it was closed. Looked across the street and saw Royal Chaat. Decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. Food was awesome. Selection was good. Butter chicken & Tiki marsala was delicious. The naan was fresh and tasty. Definitely will visit again. 4.5 for food, never had a vegetarian noodle burger before and it was quite tasty, buns were soft & buttery , noodles were flavorful, veggie patty was on point. The burger was filling by itself without sides. Service was fast & efficient, definitely call ahead of time since they can get busy. Parking can be tricky since there's many other food trucks so it's a tight squeeze. If you're in the area give this place a try! read more

We have eaten a lot of Indian food, including in India, and this is the best we have ever eaten. Both the chicken tikka masala and the barbecued paneer were amazing. One order of naan includes two full, large pieces. Such a find inside a gas station mini-mart is most unexpected. read more

Stopped in with my colleague as we had been excited to try the food here for a while now. The man at the counter was friendly upon taking our order and the food was ready with very little wait. We ordered the samosas, butter chicken, saag paneer, chicken biryani and the butter naan. I'll start with the good, the samosas were flavorful and delicious. I would defintely recommend these. The naan was also good. However, the rest of the food was extremely disappointing. The butter chicken had almost no flavor, but was also sweet and did not taste very good at all. The saag paneer was also flavorless. The worst was the chicken biryani. It literally had no flavor at all and tasted like steamed rice with boiled chicken and vegetables. It was as if these dishes were cooked with no seasoning at all. I had high hopes for this place, but sadly will probably not come back. read more

Chicken tikka masala is not creamy! tasted bland and portions are way smaller than it used to be. Lamb wrap was 40% smaller than before. This is our go to Indian food when we are craving for some not anymore. read more

I tried butter chicken today... it was worst that I ever tasted ever in my life. I am an Indian and know pretty much about Indian food. It had no flavor no spicy flavor that is in Indian food. The food was okay. The naan was a little more burnt than my liking, but that's fine. The issue I mostly have is their flavor profile. The butter chicken tasted watered down with a heavy tomato and chicken flavor. The shahi paneer was okay, but lacking flavor IMO. Everything tasted a bit watered down which made it bland. Everything was cooked fine, so I don't want to be too critical. Service was nice and friendly so 3* is solid for this spot. I will probably give them another try in a few months and see if it improves as they are a bit new and maybe have an off day. read more
