The perfect ending to a Yosemite adventure -- and now a mandatory stop. We rolled in at 3pm on Memorial Day, fresh off a 3-day camping trip in Yosemite -- dusty, starving, and craving something real. A table full of hungry campers with high expectations. This kitchen delivered on every single one. The tawa rotis arrived impossibly fresh, like they knew we were coming. The butter naan was a revelation for the kids -- soft, warm, and buttery enough that they stopped talking mid-bite (any parent knows what an achievement that is). The classics -- daal makhni and malai kofta -- were ordered mild for the little ones and came out exactly as requested: deeply flavorful, soul-warming, and exactly what exhausted bodies needed after days on the trail. But the grand finale is what earned this review its own paragraph. The warmed up gajar halwa was extraordinary -- loaded with nuts, rich with milk fats, and sweetened with a perfectly restrained hand. This wasn't a shortcut version. Someone back there cares about doing it right. Paired with the warm gulab jamun, it was a proper, dignified end to the meal. This is true dhaba cooking -- honest, nourishing, and made with pride. This place smells good when you walk in to the point that you just know it's going to be great - and then it delivers. From the unassuming real estate of attached to the arco/AMPM, great food is being made inside. We wrong recommend the samosas, garlic naan, paneer tikka masala, and yellow lentil dish. All were fantastic and we are definitely saving this spot as a place to return while driving between LA and SF. read more

The food was good flavor and the service was amazing. Love the flavors are nice. The butter chicken and garlic naan was the best. The chicken buriyani was a bit dry with rice. The chai was good. The toilet needs some cleaning and the chairs need to be abit more comfortable, but over all good spot read more

We used to visit the old Tandoori Flame on our way to LA. Now it has changed to Haveli under new management. It's still very good. We had roti, dahi, kali daal and mixed vegetables. All were delicious. On the way back we had bread pakora and tea. Both were fresh and delicious. We will come again read more

my fam and i live in patterson and commute from stockton and pleasanton for work, so after work my dad and i decided to stop by since we saw the new sign up from the freeway and we're glad that we did! the man at the front was super kind and patient when we weren't sure of what to order. he asked us what we like and gave us recommendations based on what we told him which i really appreciated. my dad and i ended up ordering the chicken curry, garlic naan and rice and everything was super good! we got the curry with the medium spice level and it was perfect--not too hot and just the right amount of heat for us. the food came out after like 15ish minutes, and it both looked and smelled sooooo good. despite this spot being connected to an ampm, it was still a nice place to come in and sit down to have a meal. we will definitely be back! read more

What a hidden gem. One if not the best Palak Paneer I've ever had. Tandoori chicken was fabulously spiced. The salt lassi was perfect. Ok it's a hole in the ARCO gas station, so absolutely no ambiance. But the food was so good that did not matter. read more

Listen I went to this place when it was the tandoori flame, then they changed it to the Haveli, I asked for two butter chicken and only got one even though they're a dollar more also, I asked for one chicken masala tiki masala. They gave me two of those, i also ordered the rice and when I was checking the bag, the guy felt annoyed cuz when I wanted to check the bag he said everything was there, but I was missing my rice and I got two tiki masala instead of two butter chickens and then when I was trying to pay with my credit card, he automatically gave himself an 18% tip. He didn't even give me an option. Yeah the service went downhill the food still good but if you wanna deal with bad service, you can go. Also, I commented. I tried to call to order it ahead so I wouldn't have to wait for 20 minutes cause I'm trying to go home to Los Angeles and he said he was busy but while we were there waiting for food, we heard the phone ringing and he was just standing there yeah not good at all read more

Friendly staff, the order took a few minutes and came out steaming hot, clearly just cooked for me. This seemed the case for others too. Many people grabbed their take out orders and a number ate there. Good counter style ordering and dropped off at your seat service, real dishes and silverware (not disposables) fresh veggies etc. They ask your preference of spiciness, I went medium it was great.
