Unfortunately, I had read that in order to see Central Park in its entirety, one would need to spend at least the entire day there. As such, since we only had 2-3hrs to spend on exploring the park, we searched around for a quick enough tour that was complete enough to cover the main highlights of the park. This is when I stumbled across Michael Hunt's Central Park Environs Walking Tour of which a 10am and 1pm tours were offered. The walking tour was just an all round very pleasant and leisurely walk around Central Park, visiting various points of interests, catching amazing landscape views, and all being guided and narrated by Michael himself....who is a great guy.....friendly, very knoweldgeable about NY and the park's history, best vantage points for awesome photographs, and even helped us take photos which he would e-mail us at the end of the day. Equally important was that Michael spoke clearly, with confidence in his extensive knowledge about the park's history, and was never once boring to listen to....he knew his stuff, and it showed. What we also appreciated very much was that, although the tour is stated as 2hrs, Michael would take time out to answer our questions, show us anything else in the park (not regularly scheduled) that he thought would be of interest to us. As such, our tour went on a bit more than 2hrs, at no extra charge! :) My wife and I had a great time and we would highly recommend Michael's walking tour of Central Park.....and strongly recommend that bookings be made through his website.

A group of 4 would require paying for another pedicab. It was a great way to hit the highlights of Central Park without killing your legs or feet! Definitely, worthwhile as you would never be able to cover as much ground if by foot.. We were able to stop and take pictures at most of the areas. Some places they do not stop due to no pedicab parking laws. It was nice that we were able to still see things at night. We wanted to go earlier in the day but our own schedule interfered. An hour of it we saw in daylight and the second hour went into night time. Because of this company we were able to squeeze in Central Park and relax and learn some history along the way! We covered a lot of ground! Russell, our pedicab driver was super sweet and knowledgeable and ensured we were comfortable. The temperatures dropped and he offered coverings for our legs as we were wearing dresses. Russell even took pictures of us for us. He is a very pleasant individual with a good disposition. My sister and I felt they both were very accommodating! We got to meet John in person, because we didn't have enough cash on us and we needed to use our credit card. Russell was able to call him and John met up so that we could swipe our credit card to pay. If you pay online and you are military, he can give a cash refund of the $20. We started on Central Park Ave with John giving us some background about Trump Plaza, Essex hotel, etc. and then entered Central Park. John answered our questions about history of Central Park, how trees were planted, the tree types, different areas of Central Park, main attractions and even stopped for a 5 min walk/photo stops. Later, he was nice to ride us to Rockefeller Center - the place we were heading next after Central Park. Overall, me and my parents were happy with this 1 Hour pedicab tour and I would recommend John and 7evenWheels to my family and friends.

We chose to do a boat with other people and luckily we were the first group there so we got to choose where we wanted to sit and sync our phone/playlist to the boat Bluetooth. BYOB- and they have coolers to keep your drinks cold, though it's just frozen packs in the cooler. The cycling is optional, the boat will still run, just a fun thing to do. We did go past Little Island, but unfortunately didn't make it all the way to the Statue of Liberty. A storm looked like it was headed our way, so the water was also very choppy. If you get sea sick, definitely take something ahead of time. It was 90 minutes and flew by. We had a great time!
