I came in to do a routine cleaning after my previous provider dropped me off schedule without notice. Not only was I able to get on schedule within a short period of time, but upon arrival it's clear that this isn't a normal dentist office. You enter into a warm environment that pays attention to the patients but also to those accompanying the patient. When they take you back you are met with professionals that do their best to make you comfortable and explain everything that is going to happen before it happens. Dr Chita takes her time to explain treatments in detail and helps guide you into what's best for your needs. She lets you know what can wait, what needs to be watched and what needs more immediate attention. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family. I twent to this office needing an extraction and a replacement option for the missing tooth. I ultimately received a bridge and was left extremely dissatisfied with the appearance and outcome. I now have a CareCredit balance of around $4,000 for dental work that I am not satisfied with, while another office has estimated that correcting the problems could cost close to $16,000. What has been most frustrating is how my concerns were handled. I reached out multiple times, including sending letters through the mail, and received no response. I was originally told the work could not be corrected, but after another dental office contacted them, suddenly correcting it became an option. I am now disputing the charges and taking the appropriate steps to report my concerns to the Georgia Board of Dentistry. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before having major dental work done here. read more

These people are a bunch of liars, and procastinators!!! I chose your practice solely because my insurance is limited, and you are listed as an in-network provider. What I expected was basic professionalism and follow-through. What I've experienced instead has been months of delays, misinformation, and a complete lack of accountability. My initial contact with your office began in January, and as of mid-September, I have yet to receive any dental treatment. Below is a timeline of my experience: First appointment was canceled because your office failed to confirm treatment with my insurance. I was later told your system couldn't verify coverage due to technical difficulties and that I would have to pay out of pocket. I was assured someone would follow up once things were resolved. That never happened. Months later, after no communication from your office, I had to call to restart the process. By the end of July, I was finally told the insurance system was functional. During this time, I also had knee replacement surgery, which my doctor noted would require a delay in dental work to prevent infection. Despite informing your team of this--and that I had been prescribed antibiotics for the procedure--I arrived for my appointment to discover that my chart had clearly not been reviewed in advance. At the appointment, I was told extractions couldn't be done because insurance approvals were still pending and my orthopedic surgeon hadn't been contacted. Again, I agreed to be cautious and was scheduled for a new appointment. Today, the day before my new appointment, I called to confirm everything was in place. Once again, I found that nothing had been done: the surgeon was never contacted, insurance was not verified, and I was told the dentist scheduled may not even accept my insurance. To make matters worse, I was also told that the doctor would not be available due to feeling unwell. Was anyone planning to notify me? This level of disorganization is simply unacceptable. I spoke with an employee named Ashley, whose responses came off as scripted and dismissive. When I asked for specific details about what insurance approvals had been obtained, she was unable to provide a clear answer--because, frankly, there was no approval. I found her responses not only evasive but insulting, using empty phrases like "we're working on it" and "our apologies" as a cover for inaction and misinformation. After nearly nine months, I have yet to receive any treatment. The continued delays, lack of communication, failure to verify information, and disrespectful handling of my case make it clear that your office is not equipped to provide even the most basic standard of care. I am now forced to seek a new dental provider and start the process all over again, which is frustrating and unfair. read more

Very poor customer service. Refused to work with insurance company after they said they were contracted. They billed me for the full amount.

My family of five have been patients of Dr Dabbas for six years. Today that ends. Anna, the new billing person is awful! She is very unprofessional, balanced bills and is very incompetent with billing practices and procedures. She refuses to give me a receipt for a charge my Autistic son incurred using MY CC yet she sent him a bill whilst the insurance company has no record of a patient balance. AND, she sent me a bill for nearly $500 when I too have no outstanding claims with a patient balance whatsoever. They refuse to resolve the matter by providing dates of service, patient name, diagnostic/procedure codes. Just sent the bill with my name and the amount. Everything being done is against their provider contract and it results in horrible consumer services and ILLEGAL billing. I attempted to resolve the matter in person and was threatened with the police. Good luck to anyway dealing with this office. If you continue servicing them watch your claims and do not pay up front. Please be aware that this office practices fraudulent billing. My initial visit with this office was very unsatisfactory due to their policy of not being held reliable for any problems that may go wrong with their dental procedures. I refused to sign and agree to this. However, the staff did write up a new agreement stating that they will take responsibility for any problems that may occur, only up to one year. Against my better judgment, I agreed to this. I was shown pictures of what the replacement of two crowns would look like, and was assured that I would be pleased when the procedure was complete. Unfortunately, Dr. Z was unable to deliver what I was told would be the outcome. Of course, prior to any dental procedure, I was given a price quote. I didn't agree with the quote that I was initially given because it was extraordinarily high. In an effort to get me as a patient, the lady in billing gave me a more reasonable price, which I agreed to that price quote. The next day I came back into the office and I paid the entire price quote in full. Needless to say, all of this occurred in August of 2019. Now, fast forward to the current year of 2022,. On September 20, 2022, a little more than three years later, I received a bill from Royal Dental stating that I owe a balance of $250., and that it was 90-days past due. Again, I paid this office in full before I received any dental procedures. I paid exactly what was quoted to me. Not once between August of 2019 up until September 20, 2022 did I receive any statement from this dental office. These people waited three years to send me a bogus statement. I called their office several times to speak with someone in their billing department, but this mystery person was never available. Surprisingly, a few weeks later, I was able to speak with someone that told me that it was out of their hands because the debt had now been sent to a collection agency. Yes. I am now dealing with a collection agency, which immediately reported this bogus debt to all three major credit bureaus, which I am now disputing. Again, please be aware that their billing department practices fraudulent billing. I have never written a review on anything, but I found this to be quite unsettling. This is not right what Royal Dental is doing to consumers. read more

*Update* I still love my dentist, but the front desk staff has completely turned me off. 1st - one lady initially told me how much I was going to be responsible for on my first visit and then she came back and told me a different price on my next visit because she made a mistake. Of course the 2nd price was significantly higher. The good thing is she said I could pay a little now and the rest later. I went to make my appointment a couple months later, ready to pay the amount I was told I could pay and she is gone. No note on my account so now they are requesting the full amount. It really sucks because the dentist is 5 stars but this was horrible and embarrassing. Of course I will pay it but I am not sure if I will come back. read more

This is the worst Dental place i have ever been. I took my son and my daughter and they both needed root canals. About a week after my son started complaining stating that he is in pain. He went back and they had to make corrections on one of the root canals. My daughter started complaining as well. She had a lot of swelling which turned into an infection. They gave her antibiotic. The swelling went down and she went back for them to complete the work and she was told to go see a specialist of which now cost me $1200. I also went into the office back in July and did only X-rays and they charge my card for $493.40 and also billed my insurance for the X-rays which was roughly over $80. I discovered that they overcharged me when my company benefits area requested receipts of the charges. Royal Dental denied the chargers at first but when I told them I have the claim number from the insurance that is when they said they know what happened and they did indeed owe me that money along with reimbursement from the root canal that they messed up for my daughter. I have been talking with Alison and she keeps promising that the money will be reimbursed and only Dr. Dabbas can refund the my card. Well I still have not heard from them or gotten the money so basically they stole my funds. I am now thinking of getting a lawyer and getting the news media to expose this scheme. Please check your accounts for accuracy. This place is not trustworthy! I am very upset that my hard earn money is gone. read more

I had an appointment for 9am , got there 8.55, was made to wait for 1hr 36 minutes before attending to me and was told i would have to pay $700 for a deep cleaning after telling me initially that i would pay a 50 as my co pay . (for their mistake, dumb...) once I rejected it, they took the impression and on the day of putting on the crown, they asked me pay the money saying it was due from 2 years ago, though I have settled all outstanding payment just few months ago, and funny part is there was no such claim submitted to my insurance at all. as the crown want installed right, my nerve got infected and eventually went to another professional dentist to do root canal and crown on the same tooth. read more

Royal Dental Care has the BEST staff!! They will work with you and your insurance, and they are so friendly! They don't have the fancy equipment that can make a crown in the office, but their kind and gentle staff is very much preferred over a dentist with the fancy equipment but doesn't listen to you. Only negative-- because they are so personable and don't rush with their customers, I've always had to wait past my appointment time, sometimes significantly. My husband is switching here from sneville smiles. He was jealous of how impressed I was with Royal Dental Care that he asked me to switch him over. read more

This place is a joke! I rarely do reviews, but the level of poor service received from this office warrants it. If I could give them -10 stars I would. Please beware and DO NOT spend your money here. To begin with the staff is way too "loose". There is a lot of unprofessional behavior that goes on here when they are supposed to be servicing patients. As a result, if you need for them to coordinate anything for you....forget it. There will always be someone new at the front desk. That's a promise and it should have been my first red flag. I started going here in Nov. 2017 and the desk has changed at least 4 times since then. If you're wondering why they can't keep front office staff...keep reading. Allison is a BIG problem and the source of much confusion. She is involved with both front and back office procedures. I'm not sure what her real title is because she's all over the place and she she lies. I even went directly to doctor Dabbas herself to complain about the amount of confusion Allison causes between me and my lab tech coordinating appointments. Not only did the confusion continue but it got worse. Allison would call me 30 minutes before every single appointment to reschedule. Always, always had an excuse as to why she or someone in that office did not do their job. I could go on and on and on, but it's just way too much. I will never, ever go back to this office, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. PLEASE, PLEASE save yourself some heartache and time and go to a practice that actually cares about their patients more than they care about covering their behinds for lying. My company recently changed insurance and I am no longer in network for my previous dentist. I called to find out how much an implant would cost. I was told that I had to come in to find how much it would cost and that visit would be $90. When I asked how much of the $90 would be covered by my insurance, she said that she would only tell me that 24 hours before my visit. I assume that is to get the cancellation fee. I will not make an appointment with someone I feel is trying to cheat me. read more

Update to last post. I called the front desk/billing to see if they received payment from insurance company ( see previous posts where I had to involve insurance company manager who told her she has an obligation to send the bill correctly). She told me that I was rude to her when I'm reality all I asked her was to do her JOB. Whenever I asked to speak to someone else she'd tell me there was no one. She now said that she doesn't feel comfortable and will discharge me as a patient which is fine with me. She was mad that I matched her rude, unprofessional personality and called her bluff. She had me and my son show up for appt. Only to deny my son service due to her lack of billing to insurance. Now how is it that the same insurance paid for me but did not pay for my son. She told me I had to call and then got rude and said they were wrong when I told her what they said. And yes she was processing bill wrong the entire time! My son and I had appt in April- she still hadn't successfully billed the insurance company until I started matching her audacity. It is now almost September. This is a great dental office. I have had several fillings done here. The staff is very friendly. I have never waited more than 5 minutes when I have an appointment. Also I had some unforeseen problems with some dental work and they got me in quickly to fix the issues. I would recommend this office to anyone in the area.
