The chicken is seasoned. It tastes like seasoned chicken. Crispy. Nice sized pieces. I would like to get the wedges but they're not as crispy as I would like. So I only get the chicken. The breakfast sandwiches are good, too. read more

A very nice Royal Farm store and gas station. It's huge and nicely located between intersections. We did not go inside but only got gas. The price is better than almost all stations nearby. read more

Bottom Line: Not the fanciest or largest Royal Farms in Anne Arundel County but you can get the basics here - gas, drinks and fried chicken! Overall, I really like this Royal Farms. They have what I need and the staff is friendly. With my RoFo card in hand, this is my go-to stop for gas and the occasional morning soda. Horrible! 1 person working the line and 12 people waiting. Stopped in on the way back home from St Michael's to get gas and use the restroom. The restroom was completely disgusting and I waited over 10 minutes to check out! Why can't you staff your stores?! read more

The gas says $3.15 for regular, $3.05 regular with rewards. However it does not give you that price if you type in your rewards info. And no way to refund or correct. It's misleading and counting on you just putting up with being tricked. read more

Worst RoFo on the planet As I walked in the cashier appeared to be filling a personal hand sanitizer bottle from the store dispenser for customers. After getting my soda and standing by the full service register for about a minute while the cashier just looked at me from across the store, I realized that customers seem to be expected to use the self service register when the cashiers happen not to be in the mood. This entire establishment (Gas station included) is cramped. They should've really worked on their space management when they installed the gas pumps, because it's really hard to maneuver around the various stalls without having to do a three-point-turn. It's even worse when there are more than 3 cars in the lot, because the parking spots that are designated for "in store" patrons are located too close to the gas pump stations, therefore causing more of a driving/parking nightmare. I've been blocked in a time or two while trying to fill up, so I try to avoid using a pump that is closer to the parking areas. This Royal Farms is located off of a REALLY busy section of Route 2, so you'll have to be extra vigilant when exiting the lot as well. All in all, I'd say don't come here unless you absolutely have to during rush hour times when the stalls and lot gets full. read more

stopped here for a pit stop. they could not do the most important thing (no bathrooms, unapologetic, but what really can a cashier, not matter how friendly, do when you are doing a side-to-side dance?). The outside said gas station, the inside was a convenience store. Won't stop again. WaWa we know and like, and they gave us what we needed earlier in the trip. Oddly enough, the next one further north or so is just a convenience store, again no bathroom, and the next one, which our GPS found, was an empty lot (could be the GPS). so, not a great record. read more

I've debated writing this review for about 2 weeks now... I last went to this Royal Farms about 2 weeks ago. I used to stop by here once or twice a week on average. I got gas here at least once a week and chicken about the same. Anyway, my last visit I needed gas... I went to a pump where an older gentleman was already pumping gas. When he left, he replaced the nozzle, got in his car, and of course drove away. I pulled up to the pump, SWIPED MY BANKCARD, then my RoFo card, and then I started pumping my gas. Nothing abnormal there. I stopped pumping at $17.02 when one of the cashiers ran out and told me to stop because I was using someone else's card. I knew I wasn't because I'd swiped my own, a fact that I relayed to the lady. However she insisted that I stop and follow her back into the store. So I did. We got in the store and she gave the man who'd been at the pump before me his change back and then began searching the computer screen so she could figure out how to refund him the 17.02 I'd pumped into my car. However, she couldn't find the transaction because, guess what, I'D PAID FOR MY OWN GAS, the other older lady who worked there explained to her that because I paid for my gas outside she couldn't see it on her screen. She didn't offer me an apology, she just offered to let me pay for my remaining gas inside... I passed and went outside to pay for and finish pumping my gas. This whole ordeal hasn't set well with me, and I haven't been back to that Royal Farms, or any other one for that matter, since this day. I don't think I will either. I don't like being accused of stealing, which was pretty much what she was doing, especially when I'm standing there with my wallet in hand telling you that I paid for my purchase. I've never experienced this before at any other establishment and I'm pretty sure if I had I wouldn't be going back to any of them either. read more

Won't be pumping premium here anymore. Second time now my truck has run like crap after a fillup, I had to stop at the auto parts store and get a bottle of octane booster to get through the tank. First time I wasn't sure, since we were in the middle of troubleshooting some issues. I used Exxon exclusive after for a while but was passing this way and got fuel today ... yup, it's the gas. Now I'd probably still pump gas here for my other car that only needs regular, but beware of the premium. Chicken is goooood!!! haha read more

The staff is always friendly and efficient. Been stoping in here for 6 years now and never bad service and that says a lot. The other day they were out of the food I ordered which I expected due to the time I took lunch but the counter person assured me it would only be 15 min and it was only 10. Left @ when I got home was shocked to find dried-up fried chick. 8 pieces,hard dried-up biscuit the same as chick. with cold old looking fries. What the HELL happened to u guys. I have bought chick. there before but it was really juicy @ delicious. Not this time. Someone should look into ur SERVICE to the customer. There was no 1 at the reg. when I picked-up my order for I wanted ask the person for extra biscuits. WELL maybe that was a blessing for the 1 I got u could use as hockey puck. Awful service. They are the only royal farms I have ever been into without a bathroom despite being right off a major highway. All employees were rude. They were out off all spoons and forks despite the fact that they serve food. When I got my food it was all crammed into a too small box and smushed up. Just a really bad place don't go here. read more
