I contacted Petland expecting them to honor their health guarantee for congenital or hereditary conditions. Instead, they dismissed the diagnosis and refused to provide meaningful assistance. Despite documentation from a specialist, the store would not take responsibility and repeatedly avoided helping resolve the situation. Buying a puppy should not turn into a financial and emotional burden due to genetic disease, especially when the business promotes screened and healthy animals. I feel completely misled and unsupported after the sale. If you are considering purchasing a dog here, be aware that once you leave the store, you may be on your own if a hereditary medical problem appears.
