She writes a contract spelling out what services she will perform, how often she will come over (owner decides). Carolyn will also get your mail, newspapers, and return the garbage and recycling containers from the end of the driveway if she's there on "garbage day", and leaves a note telling what she did each day. Her services are a little more expensive than we were used to up north, but I feel very comfortable leaving our fur babies in her care.

I searched high and low for a crematorium that showed a caring attitude throughout the Ft. Myers/Lehigh Acres area, prior to my beautiful boys passing. I knew his days were numbered and I wanted to have all my ducks in a row. I won't get into bashing the others, but I don't trust anyone in the Lehigh Acres area. Especially when it shows a business in a neighborhood!? Ft. Myers SEEMED attractive and the name of the place appeared appealing at first, BUT the business (in a small strip mall) DIDN'T HAVE AN EXHAUST FLUE? This tidbit told me that it was a middleman business. The Cape has a crematorium facility, but have fun parking there AND the facility includes a plain wood urn (w/no picture slot) but if you want one w/a picture slot that's "EXTRA"!? Coastal Crematorium located off of I-41 is worth the trip. They have an oven AND you don't have to pay extra for an Urn for your furry friend. They have extra nice quality trinkets that are sold seperately, so you can wear your cremated friends ashes around your neck. Included with the cremation price, which was very reasonable, you receive a small velor bag, a cremation (death) certificate and w/the purchase of the pictur urn, these good people engrave your loved ones name on top! It's a nice touch that brought tears to my eyes! I was QUITE IMPRESSED with COASTAL PET CREMATION and HIGHLY recommend them! You won't be sorry! Just now age five (we got him at 12 weeks) he doesn't walk, he prances with head high. He is always "glued" to one or the other of us. Not easily trainable, however, about barking and potty. Otherwise, "smart as a whip!" Potty is very unpredictable. He is very protective of us and barks when anyone comes to the door or into the house, and then once he has accepted them "into the family." he does't want them to leave so he barks when they do! No matter what, he is the love of our now into-our-80s lives.

We intended to get him trained but the pandemic put an end to that. During the pandemic we moved twice, and Willie adjusted. He is loving, intelligent, and healthy. Like all purebreds, he has a sensitive stomach, and we need to make sure we don't overfeed him. He became housebroken very quickly. He loves other small dogs, and most people. Our neighbors compete to take care of him in the rare times we need to go away without him.
