Since when is a Doctor's note not good enough? Now I need a card of some kind?? I REGISTERED with the store as a medical user. I presented my note and they checked it online. I made my purchase AS A MEDICAL PATIENT and left. I come back a couple months later and I am told a note is no longer good. I must have a "Card". Instead of making a purchase, THEY LOST A CUSTOMER! My friend and I were on vacation in the Palm Sprjngs area. We surfed WeedMaps for the best dispensary when we came across Royal Highness. The main reason we walked in the door was the cartridge sale they were having. They were also having a sale on 1/8ths for $18.00 dollars, so I added one of those to my order. When it was our turn to check out that's when everything started to go wrong. Our bud tender/cashier was either too high to work properly or the most incompetent worker I've ever encountered this in industry. She rang everything up and when I handed her my money she closed her drawer without giving me my change. I had to remind her she owed me money. Then when it was my friends turn to pay we asked what the change amount was and gave exact change. His total was $25.02, so he handed her $40.02 and the change he received was $14.98. We just stood there dumbfounded that she was so incompetent on the register. We let it slide because we didn't have time to explain how general math worked. Two cents was not worth our time, however I added my two cents in later! After I got home from my vacation and was unpacking my bag, I realized the dimwit never put the 1/8th in my bag. Seeing as I was from out of town, it wasn't as simple as driving ten mins back to the store. The next morning I called and asked for the Manager and explained the situation of what happened. To be honest, I would have thought it was a personal mistake/misplace but then I remember the strangeness of the entire transaction. I explained what happened and she said she was going to check her security cameras and call me back. When she called me back she told me the cashier never even got the 1/8th at all. She was very apologetic and promised to mail me a refund check that day and asked me to call her once I received it. However, she apparently has the work ethic and math skills of her employee. It took me three phone calls, three weeks, and three lies to actually receive the check. I was never refunded the sales tax. Bottom line, I missed out on a great sale yet I still had to pay the taxes for it. Vegas's prices may be a bit higher but at least their cashiers/ math skills are way better read more
