I'm extremely disappointed with my experience and will not be returning. After my initial appointment on Friday, I noticed the acrylic was applied improperly along the sides of my nails. I returned Saturday for a correction, but the issue was not resolved. Instead, I left with bubbling nails due to what appeared to be improperly dried dip powder. Without my consent, a gel top coat was applied--even after I expressed that I do not prefer gel. I was then asked to return yet again to speak with the manager, despite multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach him by phone. Given the time inconvenience and upcoming travel, I requested a refund, which was denied. Now, just days later, the gel coating is peeling as expected. I got a "manicure" too but left with uneven ragged nails that were rough on the end. Had to come home and fix my own nails. Customer service was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Came in for a quick set as the tech I usually go to at a different salon is out of town. I've been here in a pinch a few times and never had issues. Today, the tech refused to listen to any requests I had regarding nails. Told me he was able to do acrylic which was false, so I ended up getting dip, which I do not prefer. I wanted a skinny almond, not too short but not too long. The shape I have now is nowhere near an almond and none of them look the same. He was super rough when removing my old set and eventually cut me with a file, despite me pulling my hand away several times before that. Spoke with who I assume is the manager and he didn't seem to care too much. The lack of customer service is concerning. I would rather wait a year for my normal nail tech at a high quality salon vs ever coming back here. read more

Actual terrible manicure. I went in with acrylics on, ask for them to be taken off and just get a regular manicure. He filed off the nails and left ridges in my actual nail beds, then didn't buff it or smooth it out, used a coarse nail file on my nails and didn't then use a fine nail so the tips of my nails are jagged and rough. I've been going here for a long time like 5+ years but I don't know if I will be back. I loved the girl who did my pedicure today but the one who did my nails........ if she could have charged me for sitting in the chair she would have. I expected to be charged $55 for my nails per their menu, and then she did not tell me or ask me anything and charged me an additional $15 that was not negotiated up front. I got French dip nails and didn't even get extensions since I have my real nails. Then they charged me $5 each for shaping and length and $5 more with the incorrect price. While this is commonplace in the dfw nail shop sphere, this illegal to do as this violates consumer protection laws against deceptive pricing. The man who always answers the phone told me that the prices changed years ago but they didn't update the menu......... I was like ok but you charged me for all of this other stuff like where does it end? Isn't shaping included in the manicure in the first place? I don't get it and probably sound like a Karen, but the girls who get it, will get it. As for the actual nails, while they aren't necessarily ugly, they aren't very well done. You can see cracks in the color on the nail, the top coat is not smooth, and they aren't very shiny. I left with wax burns that weren't much better the next morning. $30 for the most painful wax experience I've ever had. Got my wax at around 11:45am and took pics close to midnight that same day. I told the lady I have sensitive skin and to be careful when waxing, I haven't gotten a wax burn in 10 years and I get my eyebrows done every 3 months. After saying 4 times to just be careful they ended up burning me bad and it's the day before a big event. read more

This place has the worst customer service ever in regards to management. I came here a few times for gel pedicures and the nail techs use drills to make your real nails paper thin. I also believe they used expired callus remover or unsanitary tools because the skin on the bottom of my feet became extremely rough. I've never experienced this before at any other salon. So I spoke with the manager about my concerns and he didn't care at all and even got an attitude. I had to argue with him about not charging me extra for them to fix the issues they caused. I told the manager maybe I should find another nail salon that values my business and he said "okay that's your choice". So I did exactly that. I just moved to the area and found this place. My husband and I got 2 signature pedicures and they were supposed to come with a 15 min foot massage. Unfortunately we went yesterday which seemed like a busy day and the massage was only 10 minutes. I got regular nail polish and the nail polish chipped on one toe same day and then I think when the nail tech put the sandals on she smudged the other and I didn't noticed until I got home. The person I usually go to is my fave there and has done a good job before but this time he totally sucked. I would say I get good nails 2out of 5 times I go here. It's a little frustrating because they charge so much! I get my eyebrows waxed here and they always do an excellent job. This time my pedicure was great but that's also hit and miss. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but today was my fifth and last time coming here. The nails I've gotten done here lack long term retention. The dip sets cracked a couple of days after getting them done and the gel x extension ones lifted after a week and a half. The final straw was getting the gel extensions removed today, the nail tech (Mickey) completely ruined my nails. Half of them are filed paper thin and the other half still have a layer of the extension on them. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, she became defensive and blamed it on my nails. I have never, ever, had a nail so thin that it resembles Swiss cheese. After doing some research, my suspicions were correct, she did not do the removal process correctly. Rather than soak the nails, cap them while soaking, lift off the entire extension, and then proceed to use the buffing drill; the tech didn't have me soak for nearly long enough nor were my nails capped, and she went straight into buffing with the drill through the extension and to my nail. The manager was completely unhelpful in this situation. His condescending demeanor and lack of knowledge regarding the procedures left me appalled and incredibly disappointed. I'd like to add on that every time I've come here, someone is getting a nail that lifted or popped off fixed. Not sure if it's their products or techniques, but it seems to be a common issue. read more

How can this place run as a business ????? Who do you hire. It is extremely bad, I paid 90 for some basic all over no shape, polish on cuticles, my daughters fingers being cut, the tip of her nails look like a curved beak it was beyond horrible not even so one training could do this type of job. I handled the situation with patience but when the tech came back up and blamed it on my daughter moving it changed everything!!!! It's taken me a minute to post my experience because I am/was conflicted. The gentleman at the front seems so accommodating and helpful... at first. But after sitting for 25 min and no service (I did come 10 min earlier than my appt, but that still leaves us 15 min unaccounted for),.. When I called I asked if there was WiFi so I could take care of some business while I was there. That also took forever to get. The ambiance of the place is nice. I liked the spacing between customers. Getting nails and toes done at same time was not the most relaxing with the ladies I had. I felt as if at least one of them were kind of new. I watched two women come in after me 1) get finished and leave while I was still getting serviced and 2) be almost finished. I literally was in there a hood 35-40 min before the first. We were laughed at when we asked for simple design. One of my friends was told by one of the men that he did not want to do her nails because she has nails on and he doesn't feel like removing them. The workers were fairly friendly. The first time I went I got a pedicure. The lady cut my toenails so short I started bleeding. When I pointed it out, she just dabbed at the blood and kept cutting. The polish looked okay. The second time I went I got acrylic nails. The guy rushed to finish them and they looked horrible. They were chunky and he left tons of stuff under my nails. I asked him twice to remove the stuff under my nails and he hardly did anything. They kept trying to get me to agree to extra stuff and tried to up charge me. I will not be going back. read more

I asked for a simple chrome French nail and the nail tech had no clue how to start. Asked me hundreds of questions about the simple photo I showed her and couldn't pick out a base nail color?! How hard is it to have basic nude nail colors available for a French tip style?! After I refused the colors she said would work, I told her I just wanted a solid color. She proceeded to get upset with me for changing my mind and ultimately left me with zero color, acrylics on. I came here on a whim for a trial wedding manicure. I was hesitant because of the lack of reviews but upon entering it appeared they're relatively new. The space was beautiful and really clean. The staff were so nice and the trial French ombré nails I got done was beyond perfection! I had never done ombré Nexgen before but the nail tech took her time and did an amazing job. I went back a couple days before my wedding for the exact same nails and they came out just as perfect. I feel safe with COVID protocols in place and feel welcome everyone I go in!
