I've been a loyal customer of Divine Nails & Spa for years, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. I came in for an acrylic fill and pedicure and showed a reference photo of the cat eye nails I wanted. The owner immediately told me they couldn't do cat eye, so I agreed to switch to chrome instead. When the chrome was applied, it wasn't visible at all. I mentioned that I didn't want to pay extra for chrome since there was no noticeable effect. At that point, my nail technician told me they actually could do cat eye and brought over another technician to do it. Unfortunately, the finished nails looked nothing like the inspiration photo, but I accepted that and was ready to move on. The problem came at checkout. I was charged an additional fee for both gel and cat eye. I politely asked the owner to remove the cat eye charge because of the confusion and because the final result wasn't what I requested. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Rather than taking any accountability for the miscommunication, he argued with me, talked over me, and insisted I pay the full amount.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've overlooked imperfect nails in the past because everyone makes mistakes. I have been to many nail saloons in this area and I have to say that divine nail bar is the best. They are clean and professional when you walk in. I realize that I'm a guy, and my toenails are less than desirable, but that's why I went in to get a pedicure. At one point, as I'm wincing from pain, the technician ask if that hurt, and if I'm okay. I grunt and nod and then sit back. As she moves to the other side of my big toe, digging in with the same degree as she did the other side, I wince again slightly, thinking I must just be overly soft and/or sensitive. As she moves to the other foot though, and I look down, I see blood on both sides of my big toe. After she's done trimming and scraping the dead skin from my feet, she transitioned to the massage and paraffin treatment. That was enjoyable, and I have no complaints there. As she eventually finished, I took a quick pic because I wanted to talk to my wife to see if this was normal, and she clarified that it was not. I don't notice at the time how minimal the work was done to my right foot compared to the left until viewing the pic when I got home. I've had a few other pedicures at some locations in Mansfield that were excellent, but this trip was not as satisfying. Additionally, the chair massager and size was not great as well. I'm 6' 5" and 350 lbs., so I expect some things not to be as accommodating, but my tech didn't help the matter nor try. She had my leg twisted and in the air for longer than I physically could keep it up without holding it. No adjustments were made to make it more comfortable. The atmosphere was good, and both my tech and the front office receptionist offered me a drink, and I felt the pricing was decent; however, I don't plan to return to this location, and if I did, I'd have to have a different tech. read more

My best friend got her gel french manicure by Mr. Long. And she is also obsessed with hers as well. This refusal violated federal law and caused significant emotional distress, particularly given the timing with ongoing events in my life. Incident Details: While attempting to begin a scheduled nail appointment, I was barred from entering with my service dog. Despite my clear explanation of ADA regulations, the staff: -Refused entry: repeatedly stating "no dogs or pets" without acknowledging my dog's status as a trained service animal. -Demanded paperwork or certification: which is prohibited under the ADA (28 C.F.R. § 36.302(c)(6)). - Ignored my offer to wait: while they verified the law or consulted the owner, with one [[HIGHLIGHT]]employee explicitly refusing, repeatedly to research the issue. - Failed to ask only the two permitted questions under the ADA: (1) whether the dog is[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] a service animal, and (2) what task(s) it performs (28 C.F.R. § 36.302(c)(6)). I have been a customer since 2018, if not before. Never had an issue until today. My 8 year old daughter wanted a manicure/pedicure (spa day). No services for me this time around. We made it there at or around 2:30pm. Constantly grabbing her hands pulling them and throwing them in and out of the UV light machine. My daughter was afraid. I could not believe it. The manicure was rushed and looked terrible with so much residue or extra polish around her fingers. The pedicure was also rushed with no clean up. I came here just for a color change on my real nails and they're breaking from being filed down so thin. They're all different lengths and shaped differently. If there's any pressure on them they bend instantly. Also my thumbs were cut down so much shorter then my other fingers??? I had to get two nails fixed and they're both just look bulbous. I have been coming to this location for over two years and am a great tipper. Today, I asked if there was a wait and was told there was not as I shared that I was headed to the airport. I was seated for a gel manicure. I watched eight people come in after me and each were assigned a technician.
