I think one thing that could make the experience better is if the masseuses slowed down a bit, focused more on providing deeper pressure and trying to pinpoint/find the knots in our body. Although I got a 90-minute couples massage it felt like segments were rushed and I never quite felt like I got into that relaxed mode. I tried to make an appointment before Christmas but the woman told me they "could not accommodate me" for that week. I understand that it must've been a very busy week for the stylist. However, for the past 2 weeks I have been trying to make an appointment to get my roots highlighted. I have called 5 times, and 2 times they took my name and number for an appointment. They said their stylist is on call, so they would get back to her to see when there is an opening and get back to me. I never got a call back any time so I had to keep calling to try for an appointment. I finally called for the 5th time and they then said they're not sure if the stylist is on vacation or not and they haven't gotten a call back for me. I got that information the 5th time I called. I never thought getting an appointment at a spa (which has a salon in it) would be so difficult. I understand that it's around the holidays but I do not understand why/how it is so difficult to just get an appointment. I just said the next opening; I didn't need an urgent appointment. But waiting two weeks is pushing it. I will be going elsewhere for highlights because of this. Will never go back. It's very unprofessional to never call back someone trying to make an appointment, and to not even know if the stylist is on vacation for the holidays.

I was surprised at how strong Mei is for her size! Mei is a lady with some excellent training. Elbows knees and hands! I got the August 90 minutes special. She asked me hard or medium? I went with hard because that seems to work best for me. Don't get the hard massage if you are squeamish. I think most people can handle the hard massage but her medium massage is equal to a hard massage at other places. Her elbows took care of some horrible knots I had in my back. Most places ignore the knots they just go over them lightly. She finds them! And she makes them soft and then they go away. Believe me I've had a lot of massages this lady blows everybody else away! I took advantage of the gift certificate special and bought four of them as gifts. I'm going to keep one for myself though.
