I recently visited Royalty Nails for the second time, specifically booking an appointment with Anna at 9:30 AM. However, she was over 25 minutes late, displaying a lack of punctuality. Although someone else temporarily stepped in, Anna's late arrival was not acknowledged or apologized for. As the appointment progressed, it became evident that Anna was irritated during my acrylic fill, possibly due to my request for a full set this time. Surprisingly, she handed me off to another technician, Tim, without any explanation. I initially booked with Anna and expected continuity in service. To add to the frustration, Anna completed two other appointments before my nails were finished, extending my stay to over two hours. The end result was far from satisfactory - the shape of my nails was incorrect, leaving me feeling utterly disappointed. I even shed tears in my car after leaving. No one should have to feel that way. Paying over $100 for an experience that made me hate the outcome was disheartening. The lack of care regarding my extended wait and dissatisfaction further soured my impression of Royalty Nails. Royal Nails is THE place to go! Lily is absolutely amazing! I've been going here for about a year and Lily as well as the rest of the staff has yet to disappoint. The facility is UNBELIEVABLY clean, they're extremely accommodating whether it's an appointment or making you more comfortable. Royal Nails truly is the only place I will get my nails done. I personally prefer acrylic no-chip nails, however, they can do it all! I'm currently addicted to cat eye and hologram nails (hence the pictures I've posted of them), and Lily fully supports my addiction as well. No where else does perfect nails and I'm so happy to have stumbled upon Royal Nails. I live in Elgin and it's well worth my drive out to Geneva! My nails are always sharp, precise, and beautiful and no where else will give you the satisfaction that Royal does. I'm always complimented on my nails and people always ask where they can go to get nails like mine. I refer every one to Royal Nails that asks! You will not be disappointed! I will never go anywhere else to get my nails done! After an awful acrylic set from another nail salon that cost me $65, an hour and a half of my time, and a tech who didn't take his time/rushed through the entire process/did nothing I asked for, I came to Royal Nails. I had Lily and she was great. I explained the entire situation and what happened and she took off the set I had just had put on, asked me exactly what I wanted and did just that, held a great conversation with me, and made sure I was absolutely happy with everything there. The salon is super clean and relaxing--so much more professional than other salons I've been to around Geneva. If you have a botched nail job or just need a new place to go, I HIGHLY recommend Royal Nails! I'm in love with my new set :) read more

I can't believe these are my nails. SOO gorgeous! The quality and end result are second to none! I was so scared to try the healthy dip but after 5+ five star visits I was ready to take the risk! My nails were incredibly damaged from many years of no chip style manicures (from other places) but I was addicted to the staying power. This healthy dip lasts more than 3 weeks and doesn't require the uv light or any scraping. The finish is a little thicker but the powder is loaded with vitamins. I would suggest a natural color because of how long they last. I did bubble bath last time and was beyond thrilled. Decided to upgrade to the ombré on this one. I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to write a review, Iv'e been happy since my first visit over five months ago! I came to Royal Nails after going to several nail salons in saint Charles and Geneva over the past ten years and they are by far the best. Three different technicians have done my nails, they all did a great job. Lilly, has transformed my nails. My first visit I had nubs, from years of acrylic damage and the improper techniques to remove them. She really makes it a main focus of hers' to care for your nails health. My usual nail salon didn't have an opening at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, so I tried Royal Nails Spa. They also were busy, but squeezed me in and, while I waited, Len (not sure about spelling--sorry!) basically massaged my feet and legs for a long, long time until Lili (not sure about spelling--sorry!) was free. It was absolutely AMAZING, and they charged just the normal rate -- although this was the best pedicure ever. I'm not saying you should expect a 45-minute foot and leg massage when you go in there, but the service was outstanding, and the staff were all so friendly and professional. Wonderful place! My mom and I have been going to this nail salon for about a year now. We LOVE this place! The talent this nail salon has is EXCEPTIONAL! They truly take their time to not only perform your requested services, but they go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed as a client. Last weekend, my mom and I picked out a picture for our nails off of the internet and they did an OUTSTANDING work, to make that a reality on our nails. I had a regular mani/pedi done today for the first time in this salon. The inside was light, bright, spacious and super clean. Lots of parking in the back of the building. Cindy was the tech who did my nails, and she was nice and very professional. I really loved how my nails turned out. Although I got just the basics this time, after having tried them once, I will be back to try some of their other nail services. Royal nails is my go to. Cindy always does an amazing job. Her attention to detail is AMAZING. I go for the dip powder manicure and not only does it last four weeks, my nails look so perfect and they look so perfect they look like acrylics. The whole staff is so friendly and takes the time to get to know every client so each appointment feels so personalized. I absolutely love Royal Nails and the people who work there. Wesley, the owner and his wife Lilly are the sweetest people. I usually request Jocelyn but Lilly is fantastic too. Wesley has never done my nails but I can't imagine that he does anything less than perfect. Hannah the receptionist is also a sweetheart. Everyone is so friendly and the service is the best I've received in the area. I've been to 5 places in the area and none compare. My daughter had art done on her nails and the nail tech did an AMAZING job. I had my stiletto nails filled and no chip paint. Cindy did a flawless job on my nails. I have had three pedicures and a manicure here and have enjoyed my service 100%! The salon is pristine and staff extremely warm & friendly. I appreciate the way each client receives a sealed kit of products for her/his pedicure. I feel better knowing the lotion, scrub, wax etc. have only been used on me. I've been going to Royal Nails in Geneva for about 3 months now and have been seeing Anna for my gel builder manicures and no chip pedicures. Anna does such a good job, is friendly, and efficient. I moved to this area almost 2 years ago and I've tried several different spots and the experience was ok but not good enough for me to go back. By far this is the best nail salon in the trycity area. The staff is wonderful, friendly and cares about their clients. We've been to several salons with broken chairs and unclean atmospheres spending money with much disappointment! But that is not the case here!!. For the prices the value is so worth going.
