I walked walked and was immediately greeted with hello and how can we help you? I said I works like a pedicure. Was told it will be a 10 min wait it that okay? Absolutely. Extremely accommodating. They were able to get my daughter and I in at the same time by appointment. On the day of our appointment, I was running late and I had to call and push our appointment by an hour and they did it without any issues. This was my first pedicure ever. I normally do them myself but it was literally something I decided to experience on the fly. I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted and she made it happen. When I first walked in, I told the owner that I wanted gel on my nails. He immediately tried convincing me to do dip instead (assuming because it's more $$). Just made the beginning of my experience there feel impersonal. Then, during my manicure, the man doing my nails clipped a large chunk of skin off of my finger while clipping my cuticles. He did not apologize at all and put this green liquid on it (to stop the bleeding?). He touched the tip of the bottle to my wound, which seemed unsanitary considering he's probably touched it to other people's open wounds. He never commented on it and they didn't even offer a discount for my service. Hoping that I have taken good enough care of it so it doesn't get infected and I have to go spend more money on a doctor's visit and antibiotics. Safe to say, I will not be returning! 1 week later update: the wound wouldn't heal on its own and got infected. Had to pay to be seen my a doctor and get antibiotics. read more

I normally love coming here but today was completely overcharged and didn't receive the services I wanted. I was charged $118 for a basic pedi with gel polish and a nail dip. I generally get the "It's Been a Long Day" pedi and same nail dip treatment with gel polish and have NEVER been charged $118 for both. The lady doing my pedi was in a rush and it was close to closing time so she tells me to save some money and get the basic pedi with gel. Being respectful of their time I agreed but the bill was MORE than I've EVER spent for crappy service. She was ROUGH filing my toe skin and she cut my cuticle too short causing it to bleed plus there's a bubble in the polish on my big toe. Will be shopping around for a new salon. I had been driving 35 minutes here but won't be anymore. read more

I've been here numerous times now and every single time I leave loving my nails and toes. The pedicures are relaxing and you can choose from a few different ones. My favorite is the "it's been a long day" since you get your feet dipped in paraffin and they're so soft afterwards. There are a ton of colors to choose from whether it's gel or regular. They generally are fully staffed and it doesn't matter who I get, everyone is friendly and aim to please. If you come in the evening (or you just like a cocktail), you can get a glass of wine. If you're a non-drinker, you can opt for water. I've also come here to have them fix what other nail salons have messed up. As much as I hated switching nail salons from my normal in Westport, this Parkville salon (that's closer to my home now) is a great change. If you're in a time crunch, call and ask if they can fit you in. read more

Very disappointed with the service myself and friends received! We felt very rushed and unimportant as we weren't a "regular" customer, was not offered a beverage as other "regular" customers were as they were seated. The quality of work and polish was very SHOTY. Ordered the BASIC $38 pedicures and when checking out I paid for my daughter and I's and was told the total was $116. When asked why it was $116 they stated that GEL polish was $20 more per person! I DID NOT ASK FOR GEL POLISH!!! Very Very Disappointed!! read more

THIS PLACE is where you should be a regular at. I've had a gel polish, dip polish, and regular pedicure done here. Staff is friendly and does fabulous work. Such a relaxing get away from my sweet dependent littles If you can swing it and you want to, save $5 by removing the previous manicure at home. Why do places charge extra for that?? Not a regular nail girl. And during a pandemic, places like this are usually not on my top list of places to go. However, decided to brave a day out to treat myself. Very pleased with Royal Nail Spa. Sometimes places rush you through as fast as they can, but not this business! It was clean, open and staff were professional and kind. I went to this nail spa for a gel manicure. I had to return after just 2 days because two of the nails broke/chipped. I paid for the repair. I returned today, 3 days later, because ANOTHER nail broke and they REFUSED to repair it. The man on the right was very rude. Thankfully I was able to go to another shop for the repair. I definitely would NOT recommend coming to this nail spa. read more

This is my third visit and the first time I came I loved it! The second time I came, horrible, my feet was worst than when I came in! I have a friend who loves this place so I said maybe it's just me.... Nope! They don't get the cuticles well, the last person who did my pedicure (Sarah) rushed the process getting done in 25 mins. Again I am leaving here with my feet worst than when I came in. She even complied me on how soft my heels are, but now after leaving here they are not! First time here and not great. 1. Awkward conversation, asking where I went for my previous dip nails, if they were busy, etc. Odd. 2. Charged $10!!!! to remove my previous dip which I've never experienced. 3. Messy, rough edges of nails, thick and uneven in areas plus a very limited selection of nugenesis colors. Powder dip is supposed to be $40 per quote on the phone. But, when you get there, its another $5 to soak off previous powder...substandard job at best and no lotion or hand massage. Absolutely the best place for nails, pedicures, and waxing. They are very reasonably price and incredibly accommodating. For example, I called last night for an appointment with Don today, asking what time he would be into work. They said he could get in as early as I liked (within their hours). I arrived at 11am today and asked for my favorite person to do waxing, which is Cindy. They said she was at their other place, The National but she would drive down and be ready to do my waxing as soon as my nails were done. Where else do you get this service? It's beautiful inside but not overly done. And not loud either. I get headaches easily and this place is lively but peaceful enough for me. They make me feel like family when I walk in. So welcoming. Their pedicures are fantastic and indulgent yet so inexpensive! How do they do that? Try this place just once and you'll wonder why you were going anywhere else. read more

I hadn't gone here in a few years because the last time was a hot mess. I should have not gone here because my fingers are in pain. My middle finger is messed up from them and all my cuticles look infected. I was in pain while they were doing my nails and they knew this but kept going.. I will never come here again and I'm hoping that I don't get an infection from this. read more

I really wish I could give my rating a 5 I've been once and it was a great experience!! Loved my pedicure, loved my glass of wine, loved my powder dipped nails and my eyebrows were on point!!! The woman and man were great, funny and prompt. It wasn't until I returned when I got bad customer service. The woman to remove my nails and give me a manicure wasn't very nice after I asked her nicely two times to remove them-I wanted my natural nail. And the manicure was short. After an unpleasant experience at another local nail spa, today's mani/pedi session at Royal Nail Spa was a treat. I went the whole nine yards and did the "it's been a long day", since you get paraffin treatment with that service. Ahhhh...sweet bliss to relax in that very restful spa chair while my feet were treated to the hot paraffin. My technician, Karly, was perfect. We enjoyed our time getting pedicures and Jacqueline was extremely helpful and patient with my mom. She even helped her carefully out of the chair and helped her to restrooms in the stereo foam flip flops they give you. My mom's nails were done by Annie but not before I asked if the initial manicurist was sick because of coughing ( she did have a mask on); I just wanted to know. That prompted Louis to come ask why we didn't want her to do my mom's nails. I explained and a different Annie came over to give her manicure. Not too thrilled with the Louis manners who checked us in and cashed us out. He is very abrupt and it comes off rude and not friendly at all. Be mindful if you use a card they charge a fee and tips are only taken in cash or Venmo. I really don't like business who elect to offer a payment method but make you pay to use it. Prices are market but some are not.

They offered us drinks right away, and the nail technician did an incredible job. I left feeling pampered and thrilled with my nails. Based on that great experience, I booked a second appointment a few weeks later, specifically with the same technician. This visit was the complete opposite. I had an appointment, but I ended up waiting for over 30 minutes while my technician finished with someone else. After the wait, another person brought me to a station so I could start my soak off. The original technician I booked finally came over, looked at my nails in the bowl, and then walked away without a word. Then, the lady who sat me came over and started filing my nails without saying a word. She was quickly replaced by a third person who actually did my manicure. She also sat down without really acknowledging me. I was the only person there getting passed around between three different nail techs. Also unlike my first visit, I was never offered a drink... and every other customer (walk-ins and appointments were offered them right in front of me) I felt completely overlooked. While the first visit was great, the second was so awkward.
