I went back yesterday to get my nails done again. The nail polish had stayed on and none of my nails broke or chipped. In fact they grew so much, more than they had ever grown before!! By far, the best nail salon I have been to! John and Kim are the new owners, and they make sure that you are well taken care of. Each time I go in, they take their time to ensure that my nails look great. Other salons have left me with burn marks and messed up cuticles or too thick of nails, but Kim and John are amazing! They genuinely care about their customers and that's the way businesses should be! FYI, this shop is under new ownership. With that said, I've been going there off and on for years and never had a bad experience. I went in last week with my sisters for pedicures and pampering. They live in Lee's Summit. One of them grilled me beforehand on the cleanliness. I told her I hadn't been in a while but it was always clean. We chatted about different salon experiences. She said her local salon was missing her two favorite people. They were excellent nail technicians, gave great leg massages, and were very friendly. Yup, you guessed it. The new owners, a husband and wife team, were her Lee's Summit peeps! It was old home week for the three of them. They are very personable! 5 stars ..my sister's recommendation is gold! We all love our pretty pedicures. I could become addicted to the amazing leg massages. read more

I've come to this place for like 7 years and I love it. Their prices are totally reasonable (gel polish fill for $25). I moved to Kansas and while I like my salon there, I have an attachment to this one. Ben was my favorite nail tech but he doesn't work there anymore. Tracy and Leon are always nice and pleasant. Leon will occasionally sing to his customers which is hysterical. I was trying to find a color to cover my white tips and this one did the trick and was work professional. I do have to mention that the salon looks luxurious as well. Leon did the remodel himself and it is spectacular. Nice and spacious. Very well done. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our pedicures. Owner gave a great leg massage and did excellent trimming my ingrown toenails. I was so disappointed. i went there very excited - I had never had a manicure and wanted gel nails. I had heard about them and how they last forever and was super excited to make an appointment with a well recommended location. However, the female nail tech that did my nails started things off by not painting all the way to the edge of my nail on most of my nails with the color and over my cuticles with the top coat. I realize I am OCD and have high expectations, but when I mentioned it to her she told me it was painted all the way to the edge - which I could clearly see it wasn't! Then, after 4 days ALL the gel polish peeled off of my nails, leaving my nails cracked and dry and definitely worse than before! Believe that if I ever get another manicure again - it won't be here! read more

I've tried this place several times, mainly because the owner is a nice lady and I keep hoping for the best. All is well unless you get the OTHER lady that seems to do all of the pedicures. You would think she would be good, doing it all day, but she can't seem to get the color just on your nails. They always look messy and I have to request they be fixed. They also go crazy with ingrown nails and cut them sideways, causing future problems. It's hard to find a good place in Gladstone. Worth the drive to Liberty to XO. read more

I was not impressed. A fried recommended me, and this was a disaster. Here is my story (pros and cons) of my experience. The first time I went in asking for a Pink and White back fill, they were all very nice and were excited about having a new customer. The owner was a sweetheart. My fill began, and when the tech started putting a top coat that wasn't cured by the UV light I asked what was up. He re-did it with a different top coat(Gelish) and put my nails under the light. I paid $35 ($10 discount because I was a new customer) and went on my way. Later that night, my nails began to peel I went back the next day and the same tech fixed the two nails that were peeling. The day after the rest of my nails were peeling. I went in and the owner explained that this was happening because they had put cuticle oil on before the Gel and it caused the Gel to not cure properly. He sanded all of my nails, put the new top coat on, cured it with the UV light and I left. These lasted two weeks ( I am used to closer to 3 even going on 4 weeks). I went in for a new fill thinking that it would be better now that the salon knew me, and they would know about the whole fiasco. The owner remembered me(and my name) and was very nice, he did my fill which took close to 2 hours, he cut me twice on the same finger with his tools, and the visit cost me $45(for a backf fill!!) and my nails are full of bubbles, there are fuzzies under the gel coat, and my nails are peeling a week later. Pros: Very friendly, convenient, family run Cons: Horrible quality, "generic" products I'd suggest this place for regular acrylics, beyond that don't go. read more

My and my daughter's nails look great!! My only complaints are that they don't have gel colors displayed other than in the bottles and one of the techs was a little rough. Other than that, great experience and will def be coming back. They take the time to know your name, which I def appreciate. read more

Not a pleasant experience. The owner Leon, is crude. His wife talks to much. I have seen the employees sleeping. I set my new Puma tennis shoes on a chair while I was paying for services. First, they complained about me using my debit card because, and I quote "It costs us a dolla every time we use this machine." Ok..back to my new shoes. Well I walked out w/o them as I forgot and just had a pedi and had flip flops on. Anyway, I went back the very next day and my shoes vanished! They claimed they never saw them. Really? Very odd since I was the only customer in there and it was closing time. So I hope you all enjoy your new shoes. I will not patronize a thieving establishment any longer. I came here for a fill. I specifically asked the woman to put acrylic on the entire nail since I have the talon nails and they break very easily if they are filed too thin during the process. Well had to go back for a repair the next day because that very thing happened. the gentleman who did the repair was using cuticle nippers to try to pry the broken nail off and cut or stabbed the nail bed somehow! I wasn't watching him but I felt the pain of it and then looked down to see blood. He quickly put some kind of oil on it and proceeded to put the primer and then acrylic on(which burned very bad). I asked a few questions and he assured me that it would be ok and that I didn't have to worry about infection under the nail. My nail still hurts, BAD! Aside from this I am not pleased with the fill. She did not go all the way to the cuticle and several of the nails look like they were not filled at all. Also, they are too thin despite having asked her to make them thicker! I will never come to this establishment again! I am in pain and my nails look like crap. I am only giving the one star because i must. read more
