I tried both locations. This location is probably the worse nail salon ever, I honestly don't know why it's always so busy. If I didn't have a gift certificate, I would've left. I finally got seated after 20 minutes and waited again with my feet soaking for another 10-15 minutes and the water was getting cold. The lady then started on my pedicure which turned out to be a decent one but since when did spa pedicures not come with a foot massage? Then we finally move on to my full set, I tell her what I want... Then she starts to get impatient because I make sure again that she understands (obviously it wasn't just me bc her coworker on the next station translates what I'm saying to her) from then on she was just in a bad mood. I asked her nicely to trim the tips shorter and I guess she didn't like that (she probably thought what's the point). As she switched hands, her gestures were unpleasant. Amy. Ohhhh Amy. Don't get me wrong she does a good job on nails. She IS very speedy and does it rushed but she does a nice job. I do enjoy going to Royal Nails, but I never had Amy before today. First of all, she was very aggressive with my eyebrows and upper lip wax and had an attitude when I asked her about price for both because she charged me differently than I was charged the last time. Then I went on to my pedicure and though I tried to make small talk she was very quick and snappy with her answers. Okay maybe it's been a long day I'm sure, I questioned if I should get a design and went to look up one on my phone and before I knew it my Aunty next to me points out that Amy is already painting a design on my big toes without asking first or discussing what I would like. I go, " oh oh okay Amy, um" then Amy goes, " Well if you don't end up liking it I'll take it off, if you wanted a design you should've known what you wanted Its gonna be ten minutes for you to look a design and two minutes for me to make it, you should know already before you sit in the chair." Mind you I had just opened my phone to think about a design while she was finishing up my regular pedicure. Lastly, she continued with a manicure and half way through told me it would be 73$ for regular manicure regular pedicure and the wax, and proceeded to ask me to pay now before she had started my manicure and to give her the tip first. I then said to her I'll wait to give you the tip at the end and asked why it was so much for regular mani/pedi and wax. She gives me attitude, grabs a piece of paper from her pocket and writes down what and why I got that amount, which was fine because I did ask but the manners and mannerisms came off very rude. She then says well are you going to pay and told me to move my things out of her vicinity and asked to put the copy of my receipt away and to hurry to take off my rings and bracelets, because they were in the way. I tell her, " You know you don't have to be so rude." And she shrugs it off and continues to do my manicure half fast.. she messed up one finger of nail art (it was suppose to be a heart and it looked like a blob) so I asked if it could be redone and she goes, " I didn't put the pink color yet " which doesn't change the shape.. of the design really.. but I shrugged it off.. well two stars for the nice color but poor customer service.. I understand we all have our bad days but I felt very uncomfortable throughout the whole process. I will be back again Royal Nails! But probably not for Amy. read more

Walked in and they too me right away for a pedicure.. The lady gave me options of what type of pedicure I wanted.. I'm not new to pedicures at all but this was my first time coming to this place. I got the hot stone which is $10 additional to the pedicure price. I will never come here ever again. When I get my feet done I look forward to the massage and callus removal.. It was like a rush job no quality in it at all mind you I paid an extra 10. Now I knew it was coming to an end when she started painting my toe nails.. I asked her "you don't do callus removal?" She said you don't have any, and it's $5 extra. I was in shock ! And she didn't even massage my calves or feet or even a rub down.. I was so disappointed with the device I received. She was rushing to finish and didn't even take the tissues out from in between my toes. I will never be going back to this place for anything.. This is my first and last. Also they are not tidy. Don't come here!!!! I've been here twice and each time I was screwed over!!!!!!! My husband and I came for a pedi.... There were only male tech avail they started on me first while my husband sat in the chair soaking his feet for 20 mins waiting for a female tech. Meanwhile other customers walked in and being serviced ASAP. Then a couple walks in and they both got serviced while my husband still waited soaking his feet!!!!!!!!!! He walked out and I left no tip!!! Call it what ever you wanna call it!!! Shitty service, prejudice perhaps!!!! Tiffany from Royal nails did a spectacular job, I went to this location today for a Brazilian wax and I left 100% satisfied. I felt very comfortable, the room was very clean and the costumer service was amazing. I recommend Tiffany to everyone for their waxing needs, she even waxed my eyebrows and left me speechless with the results :) definitely got my money's worth! read more

I signed up for yelp just to write a review about this place because it was AWFUL. I went in for my first mani since having my daughter. I told the nail tech that I didn't want them too long cause I didn't want to scratch my baby & she said "you too young for a baby, look like teenager." Well I'm not im actually 22. lol she got an attitude with me when I didn't want gel polish, cut 2 of my fingers with the tool while shaving my nails down. Rudely asked for me to pay her BEFORE she finished my nails. Which ive never experienced that with a nail place before. She then took it upon herself to take out a tip. Chose to get a manicure. I didn't have to wait very long to be taken. My Tech was Tony and he was sort of attentive. Talked too much with the other tech and I couldn't understand what was being said. Felt a bit of uncomfortable. A customer went to wash her hands and the tech helping her said something to him and he stopped assisting me and watched the customer and started laughing and talking with that tech. I was getting irritated. I had asked him to leave out 1 nail out to have another color color/design and he forgot. When I started my pedicure I noticed they had an addition to the pedicure either 5/ 10.00 packages. When I declined the additional services he was sort of cold towards me. Again as he severier my pedicure he stopped and started laughing and talking to a group of techs not working. I was getting pissed off. They can work on the customer services more and lower the mani pedi prices ! Very nice decor I side the salon but service over all sucks. Not work it! read more

This should be a big fat ZERO. I took my friend for a pedi they cut her foot with the dry skin grader. Then left the acetone on to long to remove her gel nail to the point that her nails where burning she told them to take it off and they took there time. Then the nail try to charge her for her services and stated I will not charge for the nail remover. We called the manager over and showed her the cut on her foot and she said no charge and then try to explain about her nails having the acetone on too long and feeling like a chemical burn. The manager yelled get out then just go and don't come back!! So rude and unprofessional. Do not go there!!! read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!! Went there today August 31, 2017 for a last minute Full Set And Pedicure cause my PROFESSIONAL nail lady was booked . so if you think of full set it would probably mean that "EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED"..... well its not , they want to charge $15 for a gel color to put on your nails on top of a $35 "FULL SET" !!!!!!!!!!& while doing my nails i come across gaps on the side of my nails , so i let the person know & all he said is "dont worry your nail color will hide it" mind you that my nail color is just a fade with glitter. so when he was done painting it YOU COULD SEE THE DAMN GAPS!!!!!!!!! i went threw 3 different people & all they're doing is rolling there eyes & talking shit in their stupid language . & because they didnt know what the hell they were doing & took so damn long on basic nails, i couldnt do a pedicure .... i had to just color my toes.... All "ROYAL NAILS ON OAHU SUCK" . Also my bill for my mother & i came out to $140 & i pay that same amount & better quality at "PEARL NAILS" with the new style trend for nails going on today!!!!!!! Been going to this nail salon, since they open, and once in a while I get lucky to have some of the girls that kind of know what I want, but yesterday coming in to have my pedi done, I showed picture of how The French tip style I would like to have, she take a look, and proceeded I noticed that my toe nail still have some dust under the nails. I let let it go. Then she put the clear coat, and I still see the dust under my toe nail. I was thinking I'll remove it once I get home, then she start putting the nail polish, and first of all she didn't even take another look at the picture I had, assuming she got it. She began to make a tip then I noticed one toe is thin tip so I asked her, if she can make it even, she told me that my other nail is shorter ( she cut it ) I requested to add color on the thin tip she did, and she started talking her native language, I feel uncomfortable since the other worker start talking their language. The girl stood up, and went to the back while the guy was fixing my toe nail color. I asked if I can have the flower design I asked for earlier, before the incident, and Ken replied "she won't do it now". In August I was visiting my twin sister who lives in Ewa Beach. I called to make an appointment for myself and my sister for August 29. For her it was a manicure and a pedicure and for myself I specifically requested a gel buildup and color over gel and pedicure. After my pedicure a male manicurist started working on my nails and he brought out a jar of powered acrylic, I then said I requested a gel buildup and that certainly does not look like gel. He mumbled something and tried to convince me that it was gel. I asked him if he knew what gel looks like. I said gel is not a powder and in fact looks like thick glue in a jar. CAUTION TO ALL CUSTOMERS OF THIS SALON, IF YOU REQUESTED TO HAVE GEL ON YOUR NAILS, AND THEY USE POWDER, IT IS ACRYLIC AND NOT GEL. I would suggest to go elsewhere to have your nails done as these people are not being honest with there clients and they are definitely cheating all of their clients. read more

I was actually really excited that a nail salon was opening close to my neighborhood. I went here for the first time and got horrible service! The lady that did my mani/pedi was very rude. I got super annoyed when she and the other workers would constantly talk in Vietnamese. I had her paint my toes a very light pink and she only put 2 coats on... it was still kind of transparent. I asked her to do a design with jewels and she did the wrong design. When it was time for the manicure I asked her to do it with gel, she seemed very surprised and annoyed. Tried to change my mind about the gel about 5 times, saying that I already have "Pretty Nails". She then made me wait 20 minutes for one of the guys to do my nails. While he was doing my nails, I felt very rushed and he didn't do it with great quality. The color didn't last long either, he only did 2 coats as well. Overall, it was my worst experience I had at a salon ever, I was very disappointed. Never coming here again! read more

Last week, I went to get a pedicure at this salon and had the WORST experience EVER! First, the technician - or whatever they're called - tried to get me to upgrade. I politely declined and that's when the rough treatment began! She grabbed my feet, rushed through the massage, and even pulled on the skin on the side of my nail. I was minding my own business, reading some material like I normally do when I get pedicures so I didn't notice how UGLY it turned out. I asked for fade and all I got was glitter splattered all over my toenails. Then I waited FOREVER at the drying area ... like she forgot me over there!! Then she finally told me I was done and asked if I wanted to put the tip on my debit card. I said no and politely asked for change. I gave her a $20 and she gave me a $10 and two $5s. How presumptuous of her to think I would tip her $5 or more! When I asked her for ones, she returned and pretty much SLAMMED the dollar bills on the counter. I was so shocked that I couldn't think clearly. If I had collected my thoughts I would've demanded that someone else redo my pedi and would've left there without tipping. So because I didn't do that, I am writing this hopefully scathing Yelp review in hopes that NONE of you out there will ever patronize this business! This place was nice and clean, the only thing was the lady who had gave me my pedicure and waxed my eyebrows was very rude to me. I first was having a long day doing hair, then attending to a party for a little and decided to go get a fast pedi before I leave to go off island. I walk in, get called and the water was super hot,the lady who was doing my pedi was no where to be found, so her coworker had turned it down for me. she then took a while to come back, then as she started on my toes she went to a certain extent when she was cleaning my toes. My big toe had actually started to bleed. Her attitude just got worst when I had asked her to be more polite towards me. Which was right when she was going to go for the massage, and it was like she rubbed my leg with a little lotion and that was her massage. She didn't put no effort or what so ever into my pedi at all.Than after she started to paint my nails she had polish all on the side of my toes and didnt bother to clean them until i asked her too. Like seriously, she pissed me off. As she did my eye brows, she messed up the sape of them, and didn't even bother to pluck the hairs she missed while waxing. I could not relax one bit. It was crazy, I was thinking my goodness I understand its 7pm but you still need to treat all customers with your best manners before you lose business. I feel like i payed full price for everything for just getting treated like trash. I don't remember her name, but I know it started with a "M". It was something like Madie or Marie.
