This place is HUGE. There are two bowling areas on opposite sides of each other to where if you didn't know it was there, you'd likely never see it. All staff we encountered were kind, and helpful (I got lost looking for my family!). They have a couple bars located inside, I believe one on each side. I actually learned about a new to me canned spritzer I had never heard of or seen before. Food orders are placed via kiosk, and they surprisingly had way more than the typical concession stand options. I mean, a frisco melt at the bowling alley? Sign me up, I suppose! Summertime with kids means kids bowl free program is in effect. Brought the kids here to play and with the program, they get 2 games each. I had to pay for shoes and for 5 kids it came out to a little over $21. I have not been here since April, and I noticed they renovated the seats. Instead of chairs and tables with chairs that swivel, they now have couches and cushioned stool chairs. It looks more modern, but it does make the bowling area more compact. They were comfortable. My kids enjoyed playing, they get competitive so it was fun to watch them really focus and trying hard. read more

The only negative was the entrance to the open bowl is on the opposite side of the building with a dark parking lot that has construction going on. We joined some friends for a birthday party on the cosmic bowl side. We were very excited because it had been a long time since we had been bowling. She reserved 2 lanes for an hour... surprisingly, it was quite expensive. As everyone put on their shoes, I headed to the bar to get drinks and found that the line was 30 plus people deep. They had only ONE bartender. It wouldn't have been so bad, but they had a large corporate party with an "open" bar, so a lot of people wanted their drinks. I asked them about another bartender or any where else to get drinks and they rudely answered that the other side was for LEAGUE ONLY. My frustration is that, I feel like because they knew they were having a large corporate party with an open bar, another bartender would have made them go through drinks twice as fast. As a result, 35 minutes of our one hour of bowling was spent waiting in line. This should have been a 1 star, but I gave them 2 because the bartender was kind, in spite of being completely overwhelmed. read more

I haven't bowled in years! Coworkers and I reserved lanes here for a couple hours. We had so much fun! The employees are nice, and the place is clean. I didn't eat, but several friends got food and drinks. They all said it was good. The cheese breadsticks looked especially yummy. There are several themes you can choose for the display. There are a variety of sizes of balls from 8 pounds up to 15 (at least from what I saw). The 8 pound ones have too small holes for most adult fingers, so we weaklings had to use a 10 pound ball. I'm no expert on bowling , but this place looked like a good spot for anyone to bowl. read more

Pretty horrible bowling alley and staff! We paid hundreds of dollars for our 9 year olds Birthday Party and all she wanted was a small plush toy from the arcade. We offered to pay for the toy and tried all we could to win it for her! Staff refused to give way on the toy until we had racked up 1,000 points! Unfortunately rules are rules, Yes. But you would think after spending hours here and spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars they would be willing to compromise. But no! I guess their 6 inch Paw Patrol plush dog is worth more. Came for a work Christmas party. Had lanes reserved and go up to get shoes and the girl doesn't even ask us if we have lanes, looks around at how busy it is and tells us there aren't any available in which we told her we had some and just needed shoes. We go up to to get drinks at the bar and the bartender acted a little off and says to me "what's going on?" I guess that means "what can I get you?".. I ordered my drink and she seemed annoyed at the fact she was working, asked what size and was a little pushy until we got the big ones since it was "only a dollar difference".. we've been here before and the service was great then, not sure what was up this night.. read more

Bowling is a newfound hobby of mine and I've been to this alley a few times over the past month. There are two separate sections of lanes, which is pretty cool. One is more "family friendly" and the other has cosmic bowling on Friday and Saturday nights. Service was friendly enough. With bowling you really just pay for the lanes, get your shoes, and you're good to go. The tables tend to be dirty from the folks before. It would be nice if they made sure someone came out and wiped down the tables after a party leaves. They have craft beer in the bar which is nice. There's different specials for bowling all throughout the week. If you pay a deposit to ensure you have a lane, the deposit goes toward you total. A nice touch because many places do not do this. read more

My family of 6 came in and wanted to go bowling. There were over 15 available free lanes. They refused to let us have 2 lanes because we weren't a party of 7. They said if we would have called and reserved they could've given us two lanes, but they couldn't since we were in person. I could understand if they were really full or busy, but there was plenty of availability. There were six free lanes around the one we eventually bowled at. It was clean, but the decor was out of date and fairly worn. All of the shoes were somewhat "sticky" and my mom nearly fell. The lanes seem very run down and abused. They need to have automatic bumpers like most all lanes have. The restaurant has very expensive food. It was good but expensive. My son's Autism Social group chose to go bowling this week. We had 3 lanes reserved and it's easily accommodated everyone. I'm no pro bowler, so the lanes and everything bowling wise seems fine to me. The rental neon clown shoes are pretty worn. But all the equipment is in good working order and everything seems clean. This is a pretty old bowling alley. Staff is really quite rude. There was evidently some special on games and it wasn't even offered to us or my girlfriend and her son. When our group asked us if we got the special, we went back up and asked for it. They were really rude and refused to give us the discount, saying it can't be done after you've already paid. We were wanting to purchase an additional game and just wanted the discount applied. It was like a dollar, so it wasn't a big deal and we were polite when we asked. But she got really hateful and acted like we were asking for her to hang the moon. As I was paying, my friend politely pointed out to her that they should let people know about their special when they're paying. The cashier then gave her a really hateful look and said, "You should have asked if we have any specials, seriously," and rolled her eyes. Other staff standing nearby, one who appeared to be a manager, said nothing nor tried to assist. We ordered pizza for our boys, and they both said it was gross and wouldn't even finish one slice. And these boys normally inhale pizza. Others in the group ordered burgers and everyone complained they were extremely salty and not good. Needless to say, we were not impressed. read more

Expo Bowl is a member of the Royal Pin chain of bowling alleys so you know pretty much know what to expect. Corporate. Flavorless. It's not as nice as Woodland Bowl, which underwent a renovation a few years ago and has nice couches and ottomans in the bowlers' area. There are 2 sides, A and B, and each side has 40 lanes. I can only review the B side as I've never bowled on the A side. The B side lanes are pretty inconsistent from week to week. Some weeks they flood the lanes with oil and your ball will just skid. Most weeks, however, they are desert-dry and your ball will take off about 30 feet down. There's also a problem with some of the ball returns. Many times I've found some black gunk on my bowling ball. read more

The shoes are typical bowling shoes.. but well used and less than comfortable. Its been a while since I've bowled, but it seemed a bit pricey at $4.20 a game (if I remember correctly). Who knows.. On that Friday night, one side is for league and the other side of the building is for other customers. The arcade was small. The café has funnel cake sticks. The bathrooms are almost always dirty when I go and not a lot of people wear their masks. Overall, they have pretty good food and good service. My family and I thought this would be the perfect place to work off the extra thanksgiving day calories! We paid for two games. Which I am from out of town but the price was increased because I guess they anticipated more people. First the shoes were disgusting and falling a part so I had to ask for a different pair twice. Then the womens bathroom dryer blew freezing cold air and we had three frames and 1 min left and so we asked for a tad more time. They added 10 mins and had the nerve to charge us for another game!! This place is ridiculous and apparently has too much money. A friend and myself showed up 45 minutes before closing. As we walked in we were instantly told that they werent giving out any more games for the evening, although employees that were obviously on the clock and in uniform were bowling on the lanes right in front of the desk. This is very uncalled for and super unprofessional and not the fiest time ive dealt with this at a Royal Pin Location. We come here every year for my wife's work holiday party. They have bowling, food, and beer. What else could you ask for at a bowling alley? I have never had any issues here. Nothing is remarkable either. The food is decent. The lanes are nice. The staff has always been friendly. Appalled at the customer service here. From start to end .. Paid $18 for two adults to bowl two games each. Paid $14.75 for a FLAT draft beer (that I didn't complain about) and also the Long Island that was on special. After bowling our first game we decided we were hungry so we ordered the chicken finger basket, hamburger basket, and also a draft beer on special. Those equalled up to be another $19. In the meantime of waiting for our food , we finished our two game and decided to purchase two more games since we were still waiting on our food. Another $8. We waited awhile for our food to be brought to us. When we got it , the chicken finger basket had two small chicken fingers and then the "hamburger" basket was a slider with fries ... I was very confused as to why the "hamburger" was a slider. I checked the menu to make sure it didn't mention a slider hamburger before finally asking to see a manger. I honestly thought it was bizarre that two chicken finger meal & a slider meal, along with the beer on special could be $19. The "supervisor" Chris walked over and just stood at our table staring at us... Didn't ask what was wrong or what he could help us with, just looked at us like we were stupid. So after realizing he was the "manager" that I had asked for , I asked him if their hamburgers were really just sliders ... He had no response but to look at me like I was a complete moron. So I pointed to what I ordered on the menu and asked him if that was a "slider" and he his response was a shrug. He wasn't going anywhere with the situation at all. Being EXTREMELY rude for no reason. He finally agreed to go make a normal size hamburger after telling us our food "looked fine." I stated ... "I'm not trying to be an asshole to you at all , so you don't need to be one to us , I'm just really confused." His immediate response is "no you're getting out." So I agreed to leave after I was refunded my money for the two extra games just purchased and hadn't started and also the food that he was going to "remake." He refused to give me my money and said if I didn't leave he was calling the cops. Of course I sat there because I was pissed my boyfriend and I had just spent plenty of money along with another couple that was with us and got kicked out for NO reason at all. The cops came and definitely thought he was a moron but unfortunately I still had to leave. So I ended up leaving after paying for two games that didn't get played along with a "hamburger basket" that he grabbed and ended up piling other food on top of it . Worst customer service EVER !!! One word: TERRIBLE I came here last weekend with a few friends for some bowling fun. The experience was really bad. The clientele were either really sketchy or annoying kids, so if you aren't a child lover (me!), this place is NOT the bowling alley for you. The staff was not knowledgeable in my opinion. Our bowling game messed up frequently, and we had to ask the staff to help us several times. Usually someone would come over, push a few buttons and leave saying "It should work now" but it never did. Luckily, we had an engineer in our group who just figured out how to override the system and enter scores manually. It was really annoying. I will NOT go back here for bowling. I haven't been to this location in about 8 years. We came here for a birthday party. Super close to the highway it's literally right around the corner from us. We had two lanes for the party, added a third. We were greeted by two workers who got my daughter shoes and made sure they were the right size. They came with food and drinks constantly and made sure we were taken care of. Afterwards we did the arcade and the kids won prizes. Not sure on price since we went for free due to the birthday but we definitely enjoyed! Upbeat new music always playing and it's wasn't very busy. read more

Several friends and I went to the New Years Eve party last night and the bowl alley was nicely packed! $90 for unlimited bowling for 3 hours, shoes, a pitcher of soda, a one topping pizza, party favors (hats, noise makers) and a raffle ticket for prizes. Great deal in my opinion, I believe all of my friends throughly enjoyed our evening. The only downside was lack of table space. Not all lanes are created equally- our table were a little far away from our lanes. I figure it's one of those awkward spots where the tables don't line up exactly with the lanes. okay so my review is gonna be a bit all over the place. so 11/19/22, (yesterday) was my birthday and my girlfriend and one of my close friends came here for open bowling. the second i walked in i felt someone staring. now, the reason for the 4-5 star review, is due to the fact of what i am about to explain. so last night we had a bit of a situation. definitely some crackheads, but regardless, does not okay the situation occurred. so this group of three, 2 who were probably late 20's or in their early-mid 30's, and then an older dude probably 50-60's. the 2 men were caught in the act staring at my girlfriend, obviously where you think, and made her uncomfortable. so, therefore we asked to move lanes, of course as usual, they let us move lanes. i continue to glance at them to see if they are still looking, and of course they are. in a usual circumstance, i'd open and run my mouth, but i didn't (being smart for once) and let the night go on, well my girlfriend then went to the bathroom, and the woman followed her in, and made my girlfriend wait to come out because of how uncomfortable she was. not the worst, so we continue our night bowling, as our time is coming to an end, theirs did too of course. then once before they were about to leave, the younger man, was caught for a 3rd time staring at my girlfriend, now i ran out the door, and looked at him, but i didn't want to cause any trouble. i come back inside, and we ask if they can get security, (which were 2 actual police officers) and they came over to us, and we let them know what all happened, and then we went to leave, and they escorted us out, in case those weirdos were staying around. thank you to the royal pin expo staff for being cautious, and helping us when we need it. very appreciated read more

I've been to this establishment a few times over the last few months & I have to say, they AREN'T taking all the precautionary measures that should be taken. The staff tells people when they come in they need a mask but after purchase of a game they allow everyone to take them off. They do not enforce the utility of a mask to prevent spread of COVID-19. Its sad. If you have elderly or young children, I do not recommend this alley. read more
