Fully 70% was hanging over the fence and it's several stories high. I wanted it cut back ALL the way to the fence line. Called at least 6 or 7 top rated companies for in-person quotes. Juan not only gave me a rock bottom price, that both the neighbor and I could afford, he ALSO told me if we cut it right then (July) it would likely die from heat stroke and the stress of a major trimming. Nobody else told me that! Obviously I don't want to murder a tree. So we scheduled for cooler weather 5 months later - and despite that long wait, Juan did NOT raise his quote which was great. Most contractors would stick you for that. The job he did was absolutely MASSIVE and EXACTLY what I wanted. No more "tree trash" raining down on me! I am delighted! Please note that I did NOT ask (or care) for this to be "pretty". It could not have been no matter what given the enormous size of the tree trunks to be removed. I asked for these limbs to be GONE! And I am THRILLED with the outcome! Juan is a great guy to deal with; super pleasant. He also cleaned up afterwards very nicely. He even came back the NEXT day with a taller pole to get the very tallest branches. Most contractors would just shrug and say "I don't have that tall of a pole so I can't get those" - NOT Juan. We just had pvc pipes replaced and added new drips that don't work and now have a leak. They installed DG and that has not been glued down at all and pretty much dirt now... When the work was finally done, the crew showed little regard for palm branches falling over the wall and damaging plants in our yard. On July 25th, I received a bill for trimming the Fan Palm and a Queen Palm. I have no Queen Palm trees on my property. Leon's, get your act together for scheduling and billing. *Update - My next door neighbor has a queen palm in his backyard which Leon's trimmed a few weeks ago. He just told me that he received a bill from Leon's for trimming his tree and my Fan Palm. Leon's strikes again with poor record keeping and office administration.
