I found Royal Red Carpet Cleaning on Google. I called and spoke with Raymond made an appointment with him for Wednesday 12/23/20. We began talking about an appointment I had booked Last week for today Monday 12/21/20 with another company that I called to confirm the appointment with the company and the individual who was supposed to be in my apartment between 2pm and 2:30pm. Which the individual who stated he owned the Cleaning carpet company last minute decided to text me and gave me a bunch of stories which quite frankly I didn't care to hear he was supposed to come to do a job and it was an appointment that was made a week ago and he never showed up never called I called spoke to him briefly on the phone and then he said he was coming and then decided that he couldn't come. So I decided to Google carpet cleaning companies because I needed my carpet cleaned before the holidays and I have been waiting for a very long time to have them cleaned I found Royal Red carpet Cleaning company on Google and I decided to give a call and spoke to Raymond who is the owner he stated of the company we began to talk about my situation and we booked the appointment as I stated earlier in the beginning of the conversation for Wednesday between noon and 1:00 p.m. or so. As we continue speaking he sounded very professional very nice person and I have asked him if he could come today he said he was busy and booked and he couldn't make it but he would come on Wednesday which was the 24th a day before Christmas so I got a little sad over that and I guess he kind of felt that and he was so kind and he said to me you know I just had a cancellation and I will be heading your way to clean your carpet today I should be in your house by 2:30 or so to clean your carpet I couldn't believe that he said that and that he actually showed up and did the job he cleaned my two bedrooms and he did it quickly and he did it extremely well it's very professional I would use this company again to clean my carpet and I would use Raymond to do it because I like the way he cleaned the carpet especially that I had a little bit of paint on it due to the fact that I had my rooms painted and he did the best he could to remove whatever he could of the paint. The best carpet cleaning company to use!. On Saturday, February 23, 2019, I called Royal Red Carpet Cleaning. It was a last minute decision to clean my carpet and Raymond, the owner was able to accommodate me. The owner, Raymond Earle is a true professional!. He is polite, neat and very knowledgeable about carpet cleaning. If you live in an old building, Raymond also has his own power plugs so fuses are not blown. Not only was he 15 minutes early to prep, move furniture and set up, he tidied up and made sure that everything was back in place. My bedroom carpet looks brand new. I would highly recommend him and will continue to use his company for my carpet needs and anyone else in my building who needs a good and reputable carpet cleaning service. read more

I think Naomi must have confused this company with some other provider. All of my calls were responded to promptly, some over the weekend. This is a family business run by an honorable, friendly and courteous couple. Made and kept the appointment to the minute. The owner showed up himself, a courteous, friendly and capable gentleman, he explained the process, how the equipment worked, the composition of the solutions used to clean, the expected drying time, and what would come clean and what would not (it's not magic you know, some of my spills I would not expect to completely come out. Bottom line - my carpet is clean and fresh and looks wonderful. I am very, very satisfied, this was a five star experience beginning to end. Highly recommend them! I have been working with Ray and Chris at Royal Red since 2012 and have received excellent service from them since my first week on the job. 6 years later and they are still my go to carpet cleaner for my 20,000 SF office space. My requests are often last minute, under a tight schedule and the offices are often full of furniture, but they still come through and do a great job every time. I now use them personally as well for a condo that is rented frequently and needs to be maintained. Thanks guys for always being there for me, and being professional, courteous & consistent. I spoke with someone over the phone to book my appointment, purchased via groupon, three weeks in advance of when Royal Red Carpet Cleaners was to come to my apartment. They never showed. I have called several times to reschedule and left three voicemails. Haven't gotten any response and it's been five days. Crappy service. Don't recommend at all. read more

Royal Red Carpet Cleaner picked up my rug in early April. It was a white rug, but fairly new and without any terrible stains. They said it would be a two week wait at the most. I had to contact them at least three times to check on the status of the rug, and it was finally returned in early June. I understand that Covid-19 has caused delays, but I would have appreciated better communication. When the rug was returned, I didn't notice any difference from when I gave it to them to be cleaned. They gave me a $40 discount and so I ended up paying $120. When I unrolled it, I realized that they hadn't even tried to clean it. It looks no different from when I gave it to them. I am very disappointed that they charged me $120 just to hold my rug for two months. I spent $120 and now I will likely have to throw it away. I am very disappointed and unfortunately cannot recommend this cleaner. read more

I purchased a Groupon for 3 rooms of steam cleaning for $79, because we just moved into a new apartment where there were clearly pets previously. My daughter had been having a strange cold/allergic reaction and the only thing I could pinpoint is the carpets, so I figured I'd better clean them. I then called to leave a message to schedule, per the voucher instructions. They called back the same day and made my appointment for a few days later. I was told they would arrive between 12-2pm, which was a window that I felt I could live with during my break at work (but I told the person on the phone I had to be back at 2 on the dot). Around 12:20pm on the day of the appointment, the technician called me to tell me they were en route and would arrive by 12:45pm. They did and immediately began work (2 men, Chris and someone else whose name I forget). They did not charge anything extra to move the furniture around (except they did not move the bed). They placed protective plastic and wedges under all the furniture when done to protect the carpet while drying and put everything back (except the small things I had moved prior to their arrival). They worked quickly and professionally, and their shoes were covered with the plastic the whole time they were inside. When I saw the amount of equipment they were bringing in, I began to worry I might not make it back to work by 2pm. I expressed this to Chris and he and the other technician worked very fast to make sure they would be done quickly. They were both dripping sweat when done, but even though rushing for me, they still did an excellent and thorough job. I had a throw rug in another room that was absolutely filthy. They said it would be $80 additional for that rug, which I explained I wasn't willing to pay bc the value of the rug was far less than that. He called the company and told them what I'd said and came back and said he got approval to do it for half price, so I then agreed (I then paid with a cc via Square). During the cleaning of that rug, he noticed pet stains that were coming out from the steaming (from a previous owner, as we had no pets & bought it used). He took extra time and used an added special spray cleaner on those areas and everything came out beautifully. I am not sure why there are negative reviews, but I wanted to make sure to post bc of how organized, efficient and thorough the service was, and how satisfied I was overall with the Groupon. To be honest, I never actually expect much from the Groupons, but this was really top notch. I actually felt bad that I didn't just call directly and offer to pay the Groupon price directly to the company, as opposed to actually buying the Groupon bc I know Groupon only pays vendors half of the listed price. I feel like I robbed them, lol. I would def recommend the whole experience to others and I will absolutely use them in the future. read more

I saw that Groupon was offering a deal from here for a really good price, and was looking forward to not only getting a great deal but also supporting a local business! I purchased the Groupon over a week ago, and tried to setup an appointment. I called 3 different times on Saturday (over the span of 4 hours), but no one picked up. I then called again Monday and Tuesday, with no one picking up and both times leaving voicemails. Even as this review is being posted last call from Tuesday (today is Saturday), I have not received any call back to confirm an appointment. Ultimately, this lack of communication resulted in me cancelling my groupon during the week, requesting a full refund from Groupon, and going with a more reliable company. read more

Christmas tree fell over and dumped water and dirt all over my carpet. Called at 5:15 on a Saturday night and Raymond sent 2 men over right away. Yes, sent them over within 15 minutes of calling on a Saturday night. The gentlemen were extremely professional, helpful and efficient. They cleaned the entire room and hallway within an hour. We were moving out of our apartment and wanted to leave it as nice as possible. Royal Red Carpet was fantastic. There are a lot of fly-by-night carpet cleaners out there, but these guys are professionals. The provided a written estimate, and then modified it when we made changes. They confirmed the appointment and then showed up within 20 minutes of when they said. They were extremely pleasant and friendly, despite having to carry a big carpet machine around the building, in through the back and then up a flight of stairs. They really spent the time - they asked us about different stains, and spent a lot of time getting it right. And they manage the business electronically. I paid by cc, and they had a receipt to my email instantly. 1) they do a good job 2) they're fun and easy to deal with 3) they run the business professionally... What more do you want?! read more

I had a groupon in march for Royal Red Carpet cleaners. part of the reason why did was because of the price $79 for 3 rooms. I made an appointment last Thursday . I had never used a carpet cleaning company before so I had a lot of questions (have children cats dogs. The charge for a Hallway was $20 extra. The solution they use is not toxic to the children or animals. the carpets would be damp for a couple of hours and you cannot walk on them. I wanted to do it while the kids were in school, so I could hire a dog walker for the dogs and put the cats in a crate. I asked when there was an available appointment because I wanted to be the first appointment of the day. The gentleman with whom I spoke told me that I could have any day the next week-all of the first appointments were available. I scheduled the appointment for Monday (today). I asked what time would they be here 8:30 or 9:00 (that is when most businesses start their day). The gentleman said that they would be at my house no later than 9:30 AM. I asked additional questions about how long the process would take (between 30 minutes and an hour from the time they get here until the time that they leave) I also asked how early that they would be-he indicated that it would not be before 9:15 (I live the next town over) I questioned him about this because I did not want to pay more more a dog walker than I needed to. He again assured me no later than 9:30 AM. I also gave very meticulous directions. The reason why is because I live on a main road and people drive by my house all of the time. I did not want to waste their time or my time. Fast Forward to Monday. My husband at work, the kids were at school, the dog walker came and left with the dogs at 9:20 and the cats were locked up tight. I waited for the company to come. I did not want to be too over anxious. I waiting until 10:15 (no one showed) I went on line got their phone number and called and left a message indicating that we had a 9:30 appointment have not heard from them and if they could call. I waited 20 minutes no response, no phone call, no follow up. nothing. I called Groupon to see if I could cancel the order. I could-I did. I have zero tolerance for bad customer service. Almost 25 minutes passed, with no response or phone call-no nothing. I called them back and left a message to cancel the call-giving a synopsis of the above. I also indicated that their customer service stunk and that they should call their customers back. During this time, I texted the dog walker to bring the dogs home. Surprisingly 3 minutes after my second call I get a phone call from the guy who was rude and told me that I cannot cancel that there is a 2 hour window. I told him I was not arguing with him and that they promised no later than 9:30 AM. He then said again that he had until 11:30 AM. I told him that the appointment was cancelled and my money was credited back and to have a nice day. Then I hung up. I then called Stanley Steemer. They are little more expensive but they said they would be here within the hour (by noon). read more
