They were able to squeeze me in the same week I reached out which was so great since I was up against a travel deadline. They came in and took out a big tree in the back of the house and cut and shaped a very large tree in the front of our house then hauled everything away and did a final cleanup with their blower. I placed a request for quotes on Thumbtack to have 7 pine trees removed in my backyard. I received a response from Doug. I sent pictures as requested, received my quote and he said they could start "tomorrow". Then I ask a few more questions, and he says , "ok my Monday is actually pretty booked, change to Tuesday". On the app, you mark the service as "hired" by clicking a button, and then "schedule your service date and time." I did that, later realizing I accidentally scheduled for Monday. So I clicked the cancel request button and confirmed worth him once more that service was actually Tuesday, to which they responded yes. The next day, Monday, at 330pm, I get a text message saying, "Hi this is Doug, I noticed you cancelled service, if you ever decide you want service, let us know, we will honor our original quote." I read the text at 4pm and promptly replied to the number I had for Doug with, "no that was an accidental booking for Monday. I didn't cancel anything. " to which his response at 520pm was "sorry. You cancelled. I rearranged all our work. Now all we have open is Monday or Tuesday of next week." I then got frustrated not understanding and asking him how in a 1 hour time span, ALL this full load of a week was rearranged and now Im at the end of the list??? To which he replied "i can't have my guys show up for a job you cancelled". I then asked who the owner is, Doug or Rocky. He says Im Rocky the owner, Doug works for me. But the original message had given me that number for and all correspondence with Doug?? I then had to reexplain that I cancelled an appt that was never the real appt anyway. (As evidenced by my attached pictures). After that, they quit responding. My husband spoke to them the following morning, they said they'd be out Friday. Thursday comes and my husband gets a phone call from then cancelling on us! All in all, HORRIBLE communication, attitude, AND customer service. Don't screw around with people who need stuff done, you say you will and don't deliver. read more

I had almost given up hope of finding a tree service because of the rude and unreliable way that a lot of these companies treat potential customers. Sin City tree service is different from all of them. I would highly recommend Rocky and his company to anyone that wants good service. Rocky is honest and respectful and does what he says he will do. I had 6 palm trees and 2 olive trees removed by this company. They arrived when they said they were going to arrive and worked extremely hard. I didn't realize how hard it was to remove a palm tree. This is extremely difficult work and you need an expert to accomplish it. Rocky and his helper came prepared, did a great job and cleaned up everything before leaving. I will hire Sin City tree service again and recommend that you do too. read more
