Great selection of quality leather couches…read more Bought a great couch set from them over 15 years ago. After years of heavy wear, it was time for replacement. Shopped extensively everywhere for a new and improved model, but found nothing that I liked more than my old set. Journeyed from out of state to their store and with the help of Mike Allen, reordered the identical custom leather couch set from 15 years past. Delivery for the beautiful new custom set took a very long time. To be expected after Mike went to the above and beyond extreme. He negotiated to have the Leather and More leather manufactured and embossed by them and shipped to another leather Canadian manufacturer (as my old couch was no longer being made by the old manufacturer). The new manufacturer made the couch with the shipped leather (as they didn't have the old style leather) and shipped the couch back to Leather and More and everything was finally shipped to me! Mike understood I really would not be satisfied with anything else, and made it happen. How often is service like this delivered? Upon disposal of my old couch, I removed some of the old leather from the old couch (as some of it was still in excellent shape and identical to my new leather) for potential repairs in the future. Once again it was confirmed that these sets are extremely well made. Viewing the construction interior and the leather placement set aside any possible concerns of an inferior product. The selection at Leather and More varies in price point. If you have interest in a variety of options, from standard to custom, I highly recommend you give them a look.

The sofa was very well cared for and never abused. Horchow said that they didn't offer any warranty and directed me to contact Old Hickory Tannery directly. After some emails explaining the situation, Old Hickory Tannery agreed to have the sofa shipped back to their factory to inspect the damage. They offered to rebuild the sofa at no cost! We now have the sofa back and it's absolutely in perfect brand new condition. I don't know of any other company that would have done this on a six plus year old sofa. They obviously care about making very high quality beautiful furniture and value customer satisfaction. My next piece of furniture will be from Old Hickory Tannery.

We bought a Duncan Phyfe sofa from Old Hickory which was ok so we decided to buy a Bergere chair…read more What a mistake me made. The frame was ok BUT the upholstery cushion was horrible throughout. We provided the fabric BUT the job they did of filling the chair was in our opinion sub standard compared to any other chair we have ever owned. We were contacted by the area rep and were told that this is the way the chairs are made. We mentioned that we just bought a chair from Horchow that in our opinion was superior in all ways. He told us that Old Hickory made chairs for Horchow also BUT with a different design spec based on Horchow standards. He was going to look into what could be done to fix the chair then we never heard back from him. Anyhow, there are a lot of places to buy chairs. In our opinion buy from someone else like Horchow. And in our opinion, if you want an Old Hickory designed chair do not buy from Old Hickory directly, instead buy from some that they make chairs for based on a high standard like many other retailers.
