BUYER(S) BEWARE!!! If I could give this dealership negative stars, I absolutely would. This has been one of the worst consumer experiences I have ever had, and I strongly urge anyone considering buying a vehicle from here to stay far away. I purchased a car from this "buy here, pay here" dealership expecting at the very least something safe and dependable enough to get me to and from work. Instead, what I received was a complete lemon that began falling apart almost immediately. Within three weeks of owning the car back in October, the catalytic converter failed -- a major and expensive component that should not be going bad on a vehicle that was just sold to someone. Then, just three months later, the engine itself started failing. At that point it became clear that this vehicle should never have been sold in the condition it was in. The repair costs have already climbed to the point where they exceed the value of the car itself. Instead of having reliable transportation, I've been left with a financial burden, constant breakdowns, and stress that could have been completely avoided if this dealership had any level of honesty or integrity. What makes this situation even worse is the way customers are treated once the dealership already has your money. The representatives there -- specifically Tony and Josh -- are incredibly disrespectful, dismissive, and unprofessional. Whenever you try to reach out for help or explain that the vehicle they sold you is breaking down, you are met with condescending attitudes, rude responses, and zero willingness to help. Rather than taking responsibility or even showing basic customer service, they talk down to you and act like you're the problem for expecting a vehicle to actually function. It quickly becomes obvious that this dealership has no interest in helping customers once the paperwork is signed. Their entire business model appears to revolve around getting people locked into payments and then leaving them to deal with the consequences of whatever unreliable vehicle they were sold. They don't care if the car breaks down. They don't care if the repairs cost thousands. As long as the payments keep coming in, they've already gotten what they wanted. After talking with others and reading through reviews, it's clear that this is not an isolated incident. There are countless people who describe being sold unreliable vehicles and then being treated poorly when those vehicles inevitably start having problems. When the same story keeps appearing over and over again from different customers, it stops looking like bad luck and starts looking like a pattern of predatory business practices. Buy here, pay here dealerships often serve people who may not have many other options when it comes to getting a vehicle. Taking advantage of people in that position by selling them cars that are already on the verge of failing is not just unethical -- it's disgraceful. This dealership should seriously be investigated and held accountable for the way they conduct business. No one should have to go through what many customers here have experienced. Do yourself a favor and do not buy a car from this place. You will very likely end up with a failing vehicle, expensive repair bills, and zero support from the people who sold it to you. This place is a ripoff and I would advise against anyone buying from them. My husband purchased a vehicle from this place only to have to continuously fix on it. Everytime that you fix one thing something else would go wrong and whatever you had fixed didn't stay fixed for long. I spoke with a former employee of theirs and was told that they were selling flood cars from places like Louisiana. I spoke to my mechanic and he said that it was true. On 4/18/2020 I purchased a 2016 Nissan Rogue from Royalton Motors. For $600 down, and agreed to pay an additional $633 every 2 weeks beginning 05/08/2020 for the next 6 weeks for the down payment. On 05/01/2020 at 5:11PM, I get a text from them stating "Hi, Your first payment is due today for $633. Can we debit your card?" I could not respond right away because I was at work and did not get off until 6PM. But, when I got off of work I replied telling them "NO, I don't get paid until next Friday. And, that I never left a card on file. I thought we corrected the dates at purchase" They replied "Sorry for the confusion, I'll double-check." I never heard from them again until, 05/07/2020 at which time I provided them with my Varo debit card information and authorized them to charge my card on the following day as planned. My direct deposited later that night but, when I attempted to make an ATM withdrawal I became aware that my card had been disabled by the bank. (It had cracked in several places weeks before and I had requested another on 2 occasions, but they never arrived. On each occasion, I was advised by the bank CSR that my card would not be disabled until I got the new one. I have a BBB complaint #14366612 on file against my bank in regard to this matter as well. In a panic, I indicated a funds transfer to another account that night in attempts to be able to handle my obligations with Royalton Motors in the morning. However, the funds did not post in my other account until 4 business days later. In the morning I was able to speak with a bank rep, who advised that they could temporarily activate my old card in my possession to try and help and that they would expedite me another card. But, the transfer was too far along to reverse. which left me with only about $285 dollars at my disposal. I transferred $250 instantly to another card, got off the phone with the bank, and called Royalton. I advised them of what the issue was and they took the $250. On Monday at 1:11 PM I got a text from Royalton Motors asking, "can we get paid today for the balance" I advised them I still had no debit card and that the transfer had not yet posted to my other account. They said "you can just walk into a bank with your ID and pull it out" at which time I advised them that my bank, VARO does not have physical locations. On Tuesday, when I punched out for the day, I walked to the back of the building to find a tow truck driver repossessing my vehicle. I was hysterical needless to say. And I called Royalton Motors at once. At which time they advised me that I could get my vehicle back once the remaining $383 was paid. Last Saturday, my card came and I have the balance and they tell me when I get to the dealership that they are going to correct the agreement dates and take the balance but I can't get my vehicle until I pay another $633 and $250 repo fee. After they have run my card for another $200. The dates of the agreement are 5/8, 5/22, and 6/5. I have the remaining $183 and will have the $633 Friday as scheduled. But they have lied time and time again. And refuse to admit there wrongfulness as to the dates but I have the signed agreement. read more

The people who sold me the car Tony and Yvonne knew that I was moving up to Jacksonville on that Monday with my four dogs.who is disabled, and recently got out of the hospital into purchasing a defective and faulty car. She purchased a car on Saturday and was told the car was in good condition and would last a long time. I Purchased the car on Saturday the following Tuesday night the car broke down on the highway(three days later). Yes, they put this woman in this car with these four dogs, and this car broke down on Tuesday night, three days later. I called Tony on the highway and he wouldn't respond to me. I contacted Mekiah, The sales rep and he said he would have Tony to contact me. Tony,the sales person who has been working with her when she could finally get a hold of him while stranded on the highway, he told her never to call him again, and slammed the phone in her face . Because I was led to believe that I was Purchasing a car from Royalton Motors. October 8, 2022, I was involved in a major car accident that was on the news. I was in the hospital for almost a month. In addition, I'm paralyzed on the left side, with my arms and hands . Furthermore, I have very limited walking capabilities. I took some drivers lessons and decided to try and may be looking for a car to purchase. I contacted the finance company who had financed my car that had been totaled in the wreck, and they said that they would be finance a car for me. They told me to just go to the car dealerships and talk to them. I bought a mustang from them and I pay them every month and they told me after I paid the full deposit they told me I could start paying with a bank and I waited for the bank to call me and I even called them occasionally but they never had information on me and my car and 2 weeks later my car was taken from my own home.
