We hired this company to remove our old, broken concrete front steps and pour new ones. While the initial communication was great, it became incredibly un-dependable and hard to come by as the job progressed. Ultimately, it took 7 weeks to complete a 4-step project due to poor craftsmanship and multiple delays. The issues began when the initial pour completely failed inspection. The step measurements were wildly inconsistent--the top step had a 4-inch rise, while the others varied from 7.5 to 8.5 inches from step to step, and it sloped from left to right. When I brought this up, the contractor was defensive, insisting that everything they poured was "up to code" and there was nothing wrong with them. However, they later admitted the mold had been stepped on by the crew. After several communication gaps, missed timelines, and a partial refund discussion, the city inspector officially failed the steps on May 4th, stating they required a complete tear-out and replace due to the safety and rise inconsistencies. The second round of demolition and pouring took another three weeks. Throughout this entire process, I was never notified in advance when plans changed or when the crew would show up. I had to actively chase the contractor for updates just to find out when people would be at my house. While the second set of steps finally passed inspection, they still have visible flaws. If you are looking for clear communication, reliable timelines, and a job done right the first time, I would look elsewhere.

The difference in both the look of the exterior and the warmth near the windows inside is incredible. The gentleman that did the work were timely and professional. 2020 had them come out and reside my ranch house. I had wind damage on the old siding ,so they did…read morethe whole house. It was in the dead of winter (January) 2 guys were here every day @ 8 am for 5 days. They did a great job. I am very happy with there work. Its now 5 years later. No problems with work they did. They did a very good job and cleaned up after. I now need a new roof, they are going to give me a estimate next week.

Just recently we had Vladimir and Andy put in a new composite deck off the patio doors. Just gorgeous. The newest project by Vladamir and Andy was taking out a Jacuzzi tub. They put in floor tiles, drywalled, used subway tiles and a soaker tub was installed. Also had the sink faucets changed out to match the new tub. The bathroom was painted and now I have a fabulous up to date bathroom. Dave, my project manager was very professional and addressed all concerns about the deck and bathroom. House had a water leak issue from the outside due to rain and weather. Charge Construction looked…read moreat the issue, investigated, and worked diligently to resolve the problem. They had to fix a number of issues including dry-rot, lack of insulation, replacing various layers of the exterior around the windows and weather-proofing the house in parts where it was lacking. They came out in a very timely manner to provide a quote. Corvair clearly explains the work he is carrying out and is very knowledgeable at what he does. Their team is hard-working on-site. Upon discovering some further issues, he offered options on how to proceed, some of which involved more work but when he reached those decision points he was very clear and prompt as to what the benefit of the additonal work at the time. I trust the quality and of their work and will keep coming back to Charge Construction. Him and his team do great work and the prices are fair for the quality of service provided. (I didn't post every photo but here are some)
