I answered calm so they turned me away telling me that kittens are not calm. No duh! Do they expect people to trade in their pets when they start to calm down. I know from experience that kittens can be calmed after years of ownership and I didn't want to adopt an adult cat only to lose it to death in a few years. Shame on them.

I was really impressed at how clean it looked and smelled despite so many cats. The litter was well managed and there wad barely any smell, unless one of the kittens just went potty... but they have a great filtration system that tackles odors quickly. I love how the staff has a read on the personality of each cat and respects that individual cat's personality and need for space. They also have a book detailing the name, and personality traits, for each cat. Many of the kitties are super sweet and cuddly, and they take their nap time VERY seriously. It's easy to see that they are well taken care of. There are 3 rooms in the facility: 1 for adult cats, 1 for kittens, and 1 for the cats who are more shy and scared. There are no food and drinks available for humans (which I personally think is a god thing. I mean... have you ever tried to enjoy food around a cat?), but there are lots of treats available for the kitties, as well as plenty of cat supplies and beautiful merch for sale. The staff are super nice and it's obvious how much they love the little feline felons. This was such a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, and I can't wait to come back.

I called several times but no one answered. I finally decided to drop in during my lunch break just to make an appt. I've noticed one young lady primarily at the front working hard & multitasking. She apologized & said it's just her trying to take calls, check new clients in, & check people out. This is stressful and super annoying for clients... Later that day I noticed the vet needed a stool sample. I had questions but no one was available to answer my calls. However, when I delivered my dog for his check up, the team took good care of him. Called me 2x explaining what they noticed (he needs to lose a couple) & found a little debris in 1 ear. I authorized the cleaning & was able to purchase the ear cleaner from them which was convenient since Amazon didn't have it. The doc was taking wellness visits in between surgeries. I think Banfield can drastically improve the Customer Experience by adding at least 1 more front-desk employee. I shouldn't have to burn up precious time and gas to make appointments & ask basic questions.

It's questionable that one employee said she from North Carolina, another one said she from West Virginia. I have my cat since she was born, I can recognize this cat from eye contact. Well, if you know your children, you know them by the spirit, right? I sent them many details to JUST take a look, they refused. It's not built to help ppl or animals at all. I will show how my cat look like and how sick she is now in their foster home. I'm deeply saddened and worried about her. She is territorial as a cat does. She has been a happy cat in her own home, wtf they think this is a rescue. Now I have to either kiss their ass or be assertive to fight against this negativity just to get her rescued from these horrible ppl. F that! If they don't practice as ethical as it should be, this is a big big issue! I put the photos of how my cat looked before and how she looks now in their foster homes(one with name caption) I am seriously furious and frustrated about this. Every time we visit this location it's always an issue either it's personnel changes , it's…read morescheduling conflicts, it's rude and disrespectful employees, it's not enough employees on staff to accommodate, the few good employees that are there don't stay long . The young man Rikki and the young lady Asia seemed very dedicated to their job and provided professional service, they other employees in the grooming department are just terrible and have no customer service experience or manners. We have witnessed the decline of this location in the past 9 years of using their services from banfield pet care to the grooming dept. All 5 of our dogs have been guess there since they were puppies. Our most recent dogs are 2 and 3 yo Cane Corso have been on monthly visits for grooming and have never had issues but for the past couple months every time we bring them in they seem to get treated as is they are problematic, last night we took them in for nail trim 1 employee had her personal pet with her and was about to leave as I stepped inside to request services my wife stayed outside with the dogs I heard the employees say " she has 2 big ass dogs with her , I'm not staying or helping her" the employee that was grooming a dog said " Watch this " and once my wife step in that employee said the person that would help you will be out to speak with you have a seat on the bench then called a manager to have us told they couldn't do it . Because they thought we were rescheduling and came in a day early. When we told the manager no we just wanted walk in nail trims done she was like oh I don't think they do walk ins anymore.. but it's on your website ma'am .. so this was the last straw with us . We have a total 17 dogs in our family circle that frequent this location and last night after placing a call to each household and sharing our bad experiences with this location we all collectively agreed and decided to take our business elsewhere. We found a groomer that will come to our homes by appointment and treat and care for our fur babies without prejudice. So if anyone else is having any problems with their pets being groomed at pet smart in Waldorf there are other services available to you in the area some will come to you others are located near by .. good luck to you all

St. Charles Animal Hospital offered a friendly, efficient care for our new puppy…read more I brought my 10-week-old Mini Schnauzer here for his first appointment, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. There was very little wait, and the whole team was fast, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone, from the front desk staff, to the vet assistant, to the veterinarian, was patient, informative, and happy to answer questions. It had been many years since I owned a puppy so I genuinely appreciated how clearly they explained everything. My dog also appreciated the visit because he got plenty of treats, including one of those dental chew bones, which has quickly become his favorite. Another plus is the parking since they have their own lot with plenty of spaces, which makes the visit easy and convenient. Overall, it was a great first experience, and I'm glad to have found a place that takes such good care of my pup.
