The young man Rikki and the young lady Asia seemed very dedicated to their job and provided professional service, they other employees in the grooming department are just terrible and have no customer service experience or manners. We have witnessed the decline of this location in the past 9 years of using their services from banfield pet care to the grooming dept. All 5 of our dogs have been guess there since they were puppies. Our most recent dogs are 2 and 3 yo Cane Corso have been on monthly visits for grooming and have never had issues but for the past couple months every time we bring them in they seem to get treated as is they are problematic, last night we took them in for nail trim 1 employee had her personal pet with her and was about to leave as I stepped inside to request services my wife stayed outside with the dogs I heard the employees say " she has 2 big ass dogs with her , I'm not staying or helping her" the employee that was grooming a dog said " Watch this " and once my wife step in that employee said the person that would help you will be out to speak with you have a seat on the bench then called a manager to have us told they couldn't do it . Because they thought we were rescheduling and came in a day early. When we told the manager no we just wanted walk in nail trims done she was like oh I don't think they do walk ins anymore.. but it's on your website ma'am .. so this was the last straw with us . We have a total 17 dogs in our family circle that frequent this location and last night after placing a call to each household and sharing our bad experiences with this location we all collectively agreed and decided to take our business elsewhere. We found a groomer that will come to our homes by appointment and treat and care for our fur babies without prejudice. So if anyone else is having any problems with their pets being groomed at pet smart in Waldorf there are other services available to you in the area some will come to you others are located near by .. good luck to you all

I was referred to this rescue center from an employee, Mateo. I put in a request to pickup my new…read morefur baby, an 8-week old kitten (pictured), and he was great. Super informative. I arrived on a rainy Saturday, was checked-in (with a friendly face-mask worn individual), via name, time expected, etc. and was then directed to an assigned parking spot. There, another employee greeted me, asked me to enter the recue center for further paperwork and from there, I was put in my isolated room with my fur baby to finish - and was out in less than an hour. The process to adopt was painless. The paperwork was straight forward, the staff was attentive, ensuring any questions were answered and any appointments were set prior to my departure. To be honest, I have already recommended others to use this establishment for future fur families!

Do Not Adopt from Last Chance! Petsmart should not partner with this rescue!…read moreWe adopted a kitten vetted as "healthy" by Last Chance Rescue and the kitten had intestinal parasites, advanced ear mites and Feline Infectious Peritonitis. The kitten died 4 weeks later after we spent over a thousand dollars at our Veterinary Clinic trying to save him. It was devastating to our family. Adopted the kitten on a Friday at the Arundel Mills Petsmart location and he appeared lethargic 24 hrs later. I took him to my Veterinarian. Last Chance has a Veterinary Clinic in Waldorf, Md and their adoption agreement states they will not pay for any "outside" veterinary care should the adopted animal become sick shortly after adoption. Their "clinic" is located in Waldorf, MD, an hour and half drive from my house. I did not trust "their clinic" after it became obvious that the kitten had not received the most basic care (for example: he came to us with a visible ear mite infestation which definitely should have been noticed and treated). My Vet saw the kitten on Monday and said he was not well. Not only did he have a massive mite infestation in both ears (clearly a sign of neglect), he also had intestinal parasites and appeared to have neurological problems. The presumption diagnosis was Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). The kitten was with 2 other kittens in the same cage so I immediately notified PetSmart due to the contagious nature of FIP. The kitten became sicker snd sicker despite numerous tests, intensive care and numerous medications, including anti-parasite, antibiotics and a new antiviral medication just recently approved for FIP. The kitten experienced terrible seizures and had to be euthanized just 4 WEEKS after adoption. It broke our hearts. I talked to a random customer at Petsmart who adopted a kitten from this rescue that only survived a couple weeks after adoption. I realize that they pull animals out of high kill shelters but they did not provide the most basic medical care/evaluation of this kitten and he suffered due to their neglect. When I contacted them they told me to contact their Board of Directors. At least he was loved and had a home outside a cage for 4 weeks. We are heartbroken!

I got 2 dogs from the Arlington Va rescue center and they had a father and daughter Yorkiepoo mixed that I fell in love at first sight. This is where Tractor Supply comes into play! I knew the father dog had issues with collapsing trachea but as time went on it only got worse. The Veterinarian, hospitals and pet store only wanted money, they did not really care. I went to the tractor store, not for them but just to see what they sold, and that was truly truly the best decision ever. One of there employees helped me and I can't thank him enough. After the father pass I went back in the store, and told him he cried with me, because now I need help with the daughter; she is having such a hard time dealing with it and so am I!

Manager Nate was the first person I came in contact with asking about the propane tank. He said sorry we close in 3 minutes. To my understanding as long as you are in the store before closing you should be provided a service. I think corporate needs to look into this matter because Manager Nate is on the clock until closing and denied the establishment a paying customer. Several customers were still shopping in store upon closing if I was denied to fill up propane. Manager Nate should have denied everyone else service inside the store that were still shopping. I love tractor supply and I always come to this store. But moving forward I will take my money elsewhere and I'll recommend other customers to do the same. That was horrible customer service and Mr. Nate should not be a manager if he could not provide a service so small. I can only imagine the decision he will make with a big matter that would look bad on this establishment. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau for bad service.
