They handled everything carefully without me having to hover or stress about my stuff getting wrecked. Nothing felt rushed, but they still moved efficiently and kept things going. Parking at my new place could've been a mess, but they figured it out on the spot without making it a whole ordeal. Just handled it and kept moving. They were also super patient throughout the process and just easy to work with. Good attitudes, good communication, no weird energy which honestly makes a huge difference on a moving day. My move was scheduled for a 1-3pm arrival window, but the movers ultimately did not arrive until around 6:40pm. I understand that afternoon moves can run late due to earlier jobs taking longer than expected, but I was disappointed that I had to repeatedly reach out myself throughout the afternoon and evening to get updated ETAs. The arrival time kept shifting later, which made the day fairly stressful and difficult to plan around. The delay also effectively consumed the entire day waiting for updates. If I had known earlier in the day that the move would be pushed so late into the evening, I would have adjusted my plans significantly and started moving some smaller items myself rather than spending the day waiting for revised ETAs. Once the movers arrived, the actual move itself went smoothly. They were professional, handled my belongings carefully, and everything arrived safely without damage. Communication during the move was somewhat limited because they spoke very little English, but we were able to manage using Google Translate. The move took about 4 hours total, finishing around 11pm, which was much later than I expected for a relatively short move with one flight of stairs at each location and about a 10-minute drive between apartments. Most of my items were already packed and ready to go. Because the move ran so late into the evening, I was also concerned that the noise from the moving carts and truck would disturb my new neighbors. The company did provide a discounted hourly rate because of the delay, which I appreciated, although the discount felt fairly limited given the length of the delay and the lack of proactive communication throughout the day. Overall, I think the movers themselves did a good job, but the significant delay and communication issues made the experience more frustrating than expected.

At this point things look ok. Before the boxes are unpacked we will learn that we have an entire wardrobe box filled with someone else's stuff instead of our ladders. I looked through the stuff and found the owner in another state. We're trying to figure out how to ship this heavy box to him. They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. They dumped boxes in the carport when they were clearly marked for the house. They put clearly marked boxes in the wrong rooms. They failed to reassemble a bed after they've taken it apart. They gouged walls as they moved around the house. They damaged the concrete front steps with their dolly. Each day as we unpack we discover more problems. Boxes labeled fragile beneath a heavy box of books. More boxes dumped on the wrong floor of the house. On the day the crew loaded the truck, one of the two locked himself into a bathroom (which still needed to be packed) for a half hour and wouldn't respond when we asked him to finish his business and get out. Moving is stressful enough without having to monitor movers and their every action. You trust they'll do a competent job and only find out they didn't after you pay the final bill and they drive off to the next job.
