Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. I will definitely use Hicks Farm again and I highly recommend them!

Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

I understand that this is part of the risk of doggy day care, however, what is concerning to me is the lack of attention to the fact that my dog was bit. They didn't even know he got bit, I pointed out because I noticed it when I got home. I called back and the younger girl (the receptionist) said she didn't think it happened on her shift and would ask and call me back. No follow up was given. I emailed the facility with pictures and video and NO follow up, no email back. Luckily my dog did have a dental scheduled with his vet the next day so my vet did look at it, she did say that it was pretty deep but thankfully is already healing. My dog has a scar from this now, and a cowlick in the area where the injury was. If I place my dog in your care, I would expect some sort of communication or even acknowledgment of injury. There was none. I haven't been back since, and this was a few months ago.

This is a smaller LFS that focuses on saltwater/reef tanks. They have quite a few frag tanks with various softies, LPS, and SPS corals that all seem healthy and fairly priced. The staff has always been super patient and helpful when I have questions or when I just want to browse. They've been nice about letting me be particular when choosing specific fish/inverts/corals. They're also very knowledgeable and helpful, especially as I'm still new to this side of the hobby. It seems like Oceanlife is a staple among reef keepers in the area and they've definitely built relationships with folks. People get greeted by first name and seem to be able to special order things as well. All around, it seems like what you look for in a LFS!

Even with the new adjusted hours I unknowingly came in a minute before closing and to my surprise, Nick still took the time to patiently test my water thoroughly and refused to sell me any fish or corals because my water still wasn't ready. Fast forward a couple weeks later and my water is finally ready and they will be seeing a lot of me! What attracted me to this place is that the store is super clean and the prices are generally better than any other marine-life store in the Houston area. The staff is always super friendly, professional and knowledgeable which I am so thankful for as an aquarium novice such as myself. If you're looking for anything saltwater tank related- ocean life should be one of your top choices!!

We have used this place for years and LOVE it. Very personalized service, convenient location, friendly and knowledgeable staff that seems to genuinely care about our pets. The lady owner that runs the place is wonderful. We refuse to take our pets any place else. We hope Royalty Pets never closes. I would give them 20 stars if I could, they are that good. We left our two dogs here for boarding. We got them back with several bites, dry blood, very dirty, overheated, and in overall horrible shape. DO NOT entertain this business. They DO NOT care for your pets AT ALL. We will be reporting this business to the proper consumer protection channels. read more

I love the treatment and care my Pit bull receives. Everyone was awesome, taking their time introducing themselves to my Dog. When I picked up my dog after boarding her for 6 days, she was clean happy and looked good. No complaints here, and I'm repeat customer as well. read more

I'm against that since I've never had an issue with her and don't want to sedate her unnecessarily. Rue did amazing, she was so happy to get attention from both the owner and her daughter - after the feedback I got from Banfield I was actually shocked at how well she did. Dawn couldn't have been more knowledgeable and her daughter, Gina, was so great with my dog while she was grinding down her nails. They were so kind and sweet to both me and my pup, will 100% be coming back!

In and of itself the people were friendly about this situation. I was the one getting irritated because they weren't listening. I've since found another place that hears me-and gives me what I request. They give their opinion-sometimes I listen because it's a good idea. But sometimes they just do what I request-regardless of what they think. I just hope this facility does the same. I don't want one bad review to be a lifetime of issues for a company-but maybe they will hear their customers.

The receptionist in the front was very kind and welcoming as she got us checked in and set up(i didn't catch her name). The doc we saw was Lori and she was very thorough in her exam. She was very nice and informative. She asked questions and was able to answer any questions I had in depth. The vet tech handled him very well and was compassionate in her care. The pricing was fair and I was able to get the medication he needed for a reasonable price. They also sent a cute card as a follow up!
