Play, feeding, and bathroom were included. Very grateful for the fantastic/attentive staff and reasonable care. We would definitely book again in the near future.

Leah does such an excellent job on both of them. They both always look and smell glorious when I go to pick them up. I also love that I drop each of them off and receive a call as soon as they are done. No sitting in a locked crate for hours here! Leah is a true animal lover and a big advocate for rescue. She works with the dogs no matter where they came from, but since both of my dogs are rescues, I so appreciate the patience and understanding that she exhibits when my dogs are there. Both of my spaniels get great cuts and they look like show dogs when they leave. I would not go anywhere else to get my dogs groomed. A locally-owned small business that always goes the extra mile. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

They have recently renamed to Barks and Wildlife Retreat, but the great service and friendly staff remains the same. I love my senior dog Bryn like my child and she is very particular with who/what she likes, however I never have to worry when I drop her off for extended boarding and they take very good care of her. They have gone a great job at giving her medication, vitamins, and one-on-one playtime, since she's a feisty girl that doesn't like other big dogs. I have boarded her at this location countless times over the years and she actually really gets excited when arriving. For added peace of mind, all of the suites come with cameras at no extra cost, that can be accessed through an app so that you can check in on your fur baby at any time while you're away. They also do a fantastic job at sending me photos of her during playtime so I never question whether she's getting individualized attention. The staff will gladly give new owners a tour when visiting for the first time, and likewise allow pet owners to walk their dogs in to the suites when dropping off for boarding to ensure pets are comfortable and know how to use the doggy doors. Overall, I feel you get what you pay for at this location given other locations will nickel and dime you for playtime, cameras, AC controlled kennels, medication administration, or have restrictions on bringing in personal items. I am able to bring her big comfy bed for her to lay on in case she's not feeling the provided hammock style beds. They have also recently added grooming services, so you can pick up your pet freshly groomed or bathed, since they do tend to get a bit dirty running around and playing in the courtyards. I will continue to use Barks and Wildlife for however much longer Bryn is with us, so don't hesitate to trust them with your pets on your next getaway.

We were looking for the place online to call and ask, and it turns out they are closed on Mondays. We got our fish on a Sunday. Then I checked their return policy and they only have a 24 hour return policy. No fish, no interest in going back. For everyone else: don't go on a Sunday if you are planning on buying fish.

Hands down best grooming experience for my golden retriever and customer service from minsi was so outstanding she was understanding of my pet needs. Her salon is spotless clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming pricing is very reasonable I drove a hour away to try a new side of town for grooming and let me tell u my pup was so pampered that she even gave minsi a hug before leaving lol top knotch grooming is my go to place for my baby's spa day I love the fact that she does one on one grooming not like this other salons that take more dogs that they can handle read more

I picked up my dogs on Friday, and when I finally got a closer look at my fluffy corgi, I noticed she looked almost like my standard corgi. A significant amount of her fur had been cut from her butt, legs, and mane area. Normally, when I drop my dogs off, staff ask what type of grooming or cut I want. This time, no one asked, so I assumed they would follow the usual grooming notes they keep on file for my dogs. I was rushing to pick them up before closing and had to get back on the highway, so I didn't notice the haircut until I reached my destination. The before-and-after difference was very noticeable, and not only did I notice it, but several other people commented on how short her fur had been cut. What upset me most was the lack of communication. No one contacted me to confirm cutting off that much hair, and I didn't receive a call or text before the grooming was done. When I called and asked who groomed her, the manager told me it was the same groomer who usually works on my dogs and said she didn't know why the cut was done this way. At the same time, she mentioned seeing my dog on the grooming table and noticing she wasn't fixed yet and had already gone to daycare without anyone realizing--again, without any confirmation or communication with me. I've been a loyal customer and consistently leave 20% or higher tips because I appreciate good service. Unfortunately, this situation didn't feel like it was handled with genuine accountability or concern for what happened. I'm very disappointed with this experience. I trusted that my dogs' grooming history and preferences would be followed or, at the very least, confirmed with me beforehand. Sadly, this experience makes me feel like I may need to find another place for grooming.

I have been there a few times to be sure I gave them the benefit of the doubt…read more Only one was I satisfied. 1) the prices for the grooming goes up every time I go even though the cut on the poodle stays very basic. 2) the quality of the cut is poor; uneven ears, gouged parts where hair is extremely botched. 3) incomplete work, don't do hair in ears or have obvious uneven areas. 4) the price for dog groom doesn't include basic things like trim face and feet, if you want your poodle to have shaved face and feet you'll pay extra. 5) if you're dissatisfied, don't bother bring dog immediately back to show them, they make it worse by trying to fix it. Don't go there!! Unskilled workers and unexplainable pricing.
