The lady in the front, Billy (if thats even her real name, she was hesitant on telling me), was EXTREMELY rude the second i walked in the door. Had the worst attitude Ive ever heard. Not at all helpful, and couldn't care less about the dog. She refused to take the dog because I didn't have proof of residency in rockwall (I just recently moved here). The dog was microchipped so they just gave me the owners name, number, and address. I dont even know if that should be allowed. I guess they just give out a persons information to a stranger. I had to give the poor dog back to the owner who is clearly abusing her since she looked like she hadnt eaten in months. They didnt offer to give the dog water, treats, nothing. Even though she was clearly hungry and thirsty. Luckily i gave her some before i had to return her back to the owner. I cant believe these are the people Rockwall allows to watch over those animals. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. Really shows how much the manager, owner, and city cares about the animals in need.

Apparently my dog developed diarrhea on Tuesday, which was left untreated. He was never taken to the vet. He just "suddenly collapsed and died." Alex told us that he'd "never seen anything like this before," but if you look down there are two other reviews stating that the exact same thing has happened to their dogs. This is clearly a pattern of continuing negligence - multiple dogs should not be dying in their care. If you love your dogs and value their lives, please DO NOT BOARD THEM HERE.
