Best pizza option in the area!! A group of friends and I ordered Rozario's Pizza for delivery when we were staying in a nearby Airbnb. From the time we ordered to the time it was delivered, it only took about 30 minutes on a Friday night - and about 15 of that was driving! Another great feature of their service is that you can still pay card upon delivery, so you don't have to give all of your information over the phone. We ordered one thin veggie pizza and one traditional crust combo pizza. Both crusts were really yummy. I would say the traditional is equivalent to a pan style pizza. We will definitely be ordering Rozario's again next time we're in the area! read more

When we walked in, around 6pm on a Saturday, it was pretty empty. I was worried we walked into mediocrity at best. I'm pleased to have been so wrong! We had a hand-tossed, cheese pizza and cheesy garlic bread. The service was wonderful, fast, and friendly. Was all very good! It has a new owner & we wanted to check it out. My husband & I split the Mediterranean Salad--it's a big salad made of spring greens, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, onions & feta cheese. It's one of the best salads I've had in a while! Traditional crust tasted like cardboard. Supreme pizza had way too many green and black olives where you couldn't taste anything else. Meatlovers pizza toppings were great but, that traditional crust is just yuck and needs to go. The chicken wings had no seasoning on them whatsoever and they were dry as hell and tasted old. We were staying at a hotel near Rozario's, and wanted something delivered while the kids were swimming in the pool. When I called, the gentleman that answered said his usual delivery driver hadn't shown up yet, but he would send the cook once it was ready. I've been frequenting Rozario's Pizza since it opened. It was the best pizza in this small town. But since the new ownership took over the pizza isn't the same. I think at one time they cooked the pizza on a pizza stone. It was good then. Anyway, my last few visits have been disappointing. The service is mediocre (we did have a Native girl wait on us, she had good customer service, as she was not the server who originally took our order, we ended up asking her for our soda after we waited about 10 mins). I used to take my out of town guests there to go eat but after this weekend, I'm better off going to Kwik Trip or Pizza Hut. No thank you Rozario's, your pizza isn't as good as it used to be. read more

Great little pizzeria. Nothing fancy but nothing dirty or unfavorable. Clean place with very friendly staff. For an appetizer try the garlic cheese bread. The pizza is amazing. Made to order. Thin crust or traditional. Flavorful and cooked perfectly. Quaint and fun atmosphere. I will be back and you should too! It's worth the 3 minute drive off the interstate. read more

Just stopping in Black River Falls and found this place on Yelp and thought we would try. Bartender was great and made a very good bourbon old fashioned. Glad I tried this place out. Good thin crust pizza and appetizers. I drive to Northern Wisconsin quite often and have had enough fast food to know that it's the same junk in every town. So I've been using yelp to find local places to try. I found this place in Black River Falls which was about 20 minutes down I-94 and ordered it up. It was about a mile off the highway and my Pizza was piping hot and ready to go. It was a small bar and restaurant with some locals watching the game and having a drink. I Asked the server for some paper plates to eat it while I drove. It was very good thin crust sausage pizza. I would go back the next time I'm in the area. read more

Driving back from BWCA and needed some pizza instead of fast food for the drive. Bill, (owner?) was our server and was extremely welcoming to some obvious strange faces. Initial thoughts when we drove up and sat down were not the most positive but then the pizza came. Dear god was it good. The sauce was excellent some of the best I've ever had on pizza and the crust was great too. Rozario's in fact does have pizza and a pub, but lacks the pasta. Each time I come back they say that the kitchen is going to be open soon. It has almost been a year and I'm still waiting on that one. That said, Rozario's does have frozen pizza that is handmade everyday, but its kind of pricey at around ten dollars for a pie. Handmade frozen isn't exactly cuisine-priced food. The price of drinks is a saving grace because they are cheap. Tap beer will only take you back a few bucks and even less if you come for the specials. My favorite thing about the bar is Shake-A-Day which is a dice game in which you can win free drinks or even cash depending on how much is in the pot. read more

My experience was not 4 stars as I expected based on other reviews. The pizza wasn't terrible; however, it wasn't great either. I'll qualify my remarks with this- we ordered a traditional crust Supreme. With as heavy a load of veggies and meat, there was a lot of moisture that never left the pizza. The crust was soggy and the toppings were not cooked. The end result was a bland, soggy, raw pizza. On a higher note, the fried calamari was excellent and came with a sweet and sour horseradish sauce. Yum big time. I rated this visit with a 3-star only because there is no way to give a 2.5 star rating. The atmosphere is typical and the staff performed as expected which didn't garner extra points. My sister and I ordered lasagna for delivery to the hotel we were staying at and the food was really really good. I ordered the Vegetable lasagna and my sister ordered the normal lasagna. It was really good. It was a lot of food and it comes with either pasta salad or a regular salad and garlic bread. Since the new owner this place has gone down hill!! Tried several different times to give them a chance and each time failed! First time couldn't even place a food order bartender was overwhelmed not sure why wasn't that busy! Second time took forever for food to come out. Third time waited over an hour never got our food ! As a visitor to the Black River Falls area, I was told to come to this restaurant. Walked in the door and sat down at the table and waited 15 minutes for anybody to see us or acknowledge us. Our waitress was very rude, barely ever checked on us, and never once smiled. We sat for 30 minutes with no water until we asked for more. Our salads took 30 minutes to come out. My favorite place to go in the neighborhood. Pizza is excellent, lasagna is my favorite, and I love the pasta salad. Wine selection is good for the town, they are looking to expand list to local selections. The staff will take the time to get to know you by name. My wife and I and our 5 year old daughter ate here tonight. We had beer batter fried mushrooms, cheese garlic bread, and a 16" traditional crust pizza with Canadian bacon, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions on half. The batter on the deep fried mushrooms was awesome and the ranch dipped no sauce was great. The cheese garlic bread......Amazing!! The bread they use is perfect and just the right amount of garlicky. The pizza crust, the sauce, the meat,....perfection! GOODBYE PIZZAHUT....NEVER AGAIN!! Also, our server Cindy, was very friendly and helpful and attentive. I would also like to point out that we had not been to this establishment in 5 years, so anybody that might be dissuaded by some of the old reviews that aren't 5 star, give this place a try, you won't be disappointed! Update: Since writing my original review, I have tried the pasta and sandwich section of the menu. The spaghetti with meatballs is wonderful and the meatballs are homemade from scratch! The lasagna is also extremely good as is the cheese garlic bread that comes with. I also had the pasta salad, which tastes like it straight out of Italy. I was traveling to Minneapolis and needed to stop a bit short. I was starving from a day of driving and Rozario's pizza hit the spot. They delivered to my hotel very quickly, and the pizza was still very hot. Most importantly - it was delicious. The driver was very courteous and even brought me paper plates and napkins since I was at a hotel. Great food and excellent delivery!! My Husband and I first visited this fabulous restaurant(dined in) on July 8th and for a second time, July 28th, because we heard it was under new ownership & renovated. The food had not changed from the original owners and was absolutely delicious! OMG their meat lovers traditional Pizza is out of this world! Phenomenal thin crust Italian pizza. The homemade spices on the pizza make it extra tasty. The tap beer was served in a frosty mug and the service was quick and efficient.
