Cottingham & Butler Claims Services offered to patch the driveway however dissimilar shades of concrete were not an acceptable solution. A settlement for adequate consideration has been finalized.

This place used to be great…read more My recent experiences with them were frustrating and I wish I'd just gone elsewhere. They have a guy in back with a Phantom of the Opera thing going on. He's the one who does cutting and millwork. But he basically refuses to talk to people. You'd think they'd have a system in place to work around his idiosyncracies, but they really don't. As for the counter/office: There's a guy named Kevin who doesn't really return calls or follow up. If you try to work with someone else, friction results. I made an agreement with the owner. Armstrong was to cut five boards to length for $15. He kept his agreement on first order, but then charged me about $150 for cutting five boards on second order. I thought he'd just made a math error, but he dug in when I requested that he refund overcharge to my card. So now I get to waste time gathering notes and emails and writing a credit card dispute and potentially filing a small claims suit. It seems like Armstrong is struggling to survive and is making bad decisions. I don't have time for games and drama. It's time for me to find a new supplier.

Lowes may think they're maximizing profits by having an automated system dispose of their phone calls. The phone system may in fact reduce their labor costs. After much fighting about the generator, they finally exchanged it. The riding mower was purchased last season, but not used til this season for the 1st time. It Immediately started scalping my lawn and leaving wheel marks. Home depot referred me to the warranty, which led to a repair department who assessed that the deck is not leveled, and will need a deck repair kit. They implied that this is an issue that occurred in manufacturing and is not a warranty covered repair. I have contacted the corporate office to connect me to the district manager and have not received a return call from anyone. This has been going on for 3 months. I spent $2500 and have a half acre of land that I am currently mowing with a push mower at 65 years old! I'm only asking that they exchange the mower and we can all move on. I guess my next step is to contact the FCC and file a complaint with The Illinois Attorney General Office. Not a happy customer
