I had a head gasket job done and since that repair my car has run hot a minimum of 4-5 times! Yes he attempted to repair without charging me the first 4 times! The job was never completed correctly . The last time I took it back it stayed there 2 weeks without even looking at it then I was called to pick up my car after he charged me to install a oil cooler pan that I did NOT need! He was very upset about my previous review and refused to look at my car! He was my mechanic for years! Thought he was good but now I believe I was just taken advantage of! Best Service AGAIN! They never fail me. They are fair with prices. Women usually get scammed by mechanics BUT they always beat the price from anywhere else. Let's begin with my bmw stayed at the shop 4 months. Service paid for in 2 months. Nothing was professional not even the diagnostic test. I tell you these people don't know what they are doing,not everyone, but some don't. I had to get the automotive bureau affairs involved. They could not answer their question. They even requested my money back $4200 but so far I got about half back. They left loose bolts in my car. Just a mess. They got a 3rd party to look at my car and refused to give the info to the aboa but we working on that. I know I didn't go into details as to what was wrong with my car because truthfully I don't know cause they didn't know. It almost bring me to tears the way they were jerking me around. I took my car to Bobby's shop to have a transmission put in my car, I told him that I wanted him to supervise the job done on my car because I couldn't afford any mishaps. He said he would supervise yet he didn't and to make a long story short as possible...The transmission was put in my car and I paid $3100.00 and when I went and get my car, I found out 3 mechanics later that, Bobby's employee neglected to put a rubber ring where it goes so the oil wouldn't leak all over everything under the hood the oil car. I thought Bobby was a stand up guy and I was wrong because he wouldn't even honor his loyalty as stated on his website page and I didn't come first as a customer. He refused to even look at my car after his employee messed my car up. And this is a perfect example as to why I don't prefer to spend my money in my community. My car broke completely down on Saturday and on Monday, I called him again and again he said to me, I'm not fixing your car. smh crappy service flat out period. INCOMPETENT INCOMPETENT INCOMPETENT!!!! Took my car to "Bobby" because he was close and was suggested by a "friend" who had known him but had assumed his work was good. This was a few years ago. The first clue was what should've taken him about 4 days to repair stretched into 2 weeks and STILL wasn't done right. Taking my car to real mechanics, at the time I ended up having to replace the radiator (was working fine until him) and I am now having to redo the slipshod, half-assed, shade tree shortcuts and flat out missing parts that he was PAID to repair. Hell, an auto parts store is 2 blocks from him!! Check his complaints with the Better Business Bureau!!!! I wanted Go to this place to support a black business because I'm a little skeptical at times however I went ahead and took my 2009 Lexus, there for a front and back brakes job, He charged me $568 which he claims he changed the roaders and the break pads, after picking up my car and paying $568, I still have the grinding, I still had the noises. I had to take my car back to him and he stated " O we forgot to do something" I left my car so he could fix what he didn't fix in the first place. I finally picked i mu car it's fine for 4 months. I HAVE TO GET NEW BRAKES BECAUSE HE USED SOME CHEAP SHIT ON MY CAR. I WILL NOT BE TAKEN MY CAR HERE AGAIN, I ALSO TOOK my son car he fixed a starter and a power steering holes, I paid him 500 plus, he doesn't communicate with people, I had the call to check on my car after he kept it overnight and he told me it wasn't the power steering, claiming that was leaking that he previously fixed it's something new which is an additional $390. This guy is a ripoff, do not go to RP1, save your money and your time spin the extra money with the real mechanic so that you will have a better outcome as you will continue to have problems with your car read more

Bobby and his boys replaced my broken radiator and also did an oil change while I was there. I had this done several months ago. They did a great job. It runs like new and they took their time to make sure it was done correctly and properly to ensure my safety and those who ride with me. They have become my go to only auto repair shop. I went to get my brakes done and after picking up my vehicle, it was still making the grinding noise as if he didn't fix it. I went back and he stated it was my back brakes. I knew he was lying but I just needed my car fixed at this point. He charged me an additional $100 to supposedly fix back brakes.
