We were able to find a good, reliable vehicle and a *very fair price*. The buying process was rather easy and straightforward. The owner was excellent with communication up to and throughout the process. After that it fell apart a little, but he did redeem himself in the end. After the purchase was complete the dealership was to process the tax, title, registration with DMV, as that was that the 'dealer processing fee' is for. When we drove away on the day of purchase, we drove away with temporary registartion and temporary plates. The dealer would pricess for us and we were to receive it all in the mail from DMV within 30 day. Thirty days past and we received nothing. After numerous attempts through email and phone over the span of several months we had no response from the owner or the dealership. We contacted DMV to inquiry if the dealer had submitted all the necessary paperwork for tax, tittle, registration. DMV had no record of the sale/purchase of the vehicle, title submission, or registration. I prepared myself, prepared my mind for a challenge. I was finally able to make contact with the dealer and confirmed when the owner would be there. I returned to the dealer, prepared for conflict. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised. The owner provided a believable explanation as to why the paperwork had not been submitted to DMV and he offered to do it but I declined as I still held some skepticism. Instead the owner refunded what I had paid him for tax, title, registration, and even a little extra for my 'gas' since I had to return to him to work this out. The next day I went to DMV and took care of everything. It all worked out. Overall it was a good experience. Would I buy a vehicle again from the, yes. If I buy again I will decline his 'dealer process fee', tax, title, registration and I will take car of it myself.

Contacted iGarage via Facebook and received a less than enthusiastic response about my project…read more Requested whether I should bring the car by, or if someone might possibly be able to come to the car to provide an approximate estimate. A couple days later I received a request for my address. I provided and received no response following that. Waited a little longer and asked if this was a project they were currently capable of handling and received no response. Went to the location in person and was greeted with a less than enthusiastic owner/manager who basically said he was too busy to respond to my messages and basically couldn't do the work. I've done several restorations and dealt with multiple body shops over the years. If this is the kind of communication that precedes giving them any money for work...typically the communication gets worse once they have some or all of your money. Glad I went in person to learn the ground truth about the operation. There were some nice projects going on so I really can't speak to the quality of work, however the operations management and communication leave a lot to be desired...at least from the perspective of a potential customer. Seems like they need an operations and/or business manager. Will go with Southern Classics, Huber Collision, or Classic Car Center and hope for better results.
