Wandered in here one Saturday afternoon and tried a steak taco. The service here was not terribly great, but it was an odd time of day and there was only one waitress. Seems like a place with steady regulars. There is a digital jukebox in the corner that was used every so often. Although I only ordered 1 taco, looking at the weekday specials and prices, it seems like a great place for cheap alcohol and food. I was really unsure how the quality of food was going to be so I decided to get one taco. Initially ordered the chorizo but was told they were all out so switched to steak. The steak is cut into little chunks which helps to disguise it's tough texture. However, the actual taste of the beef is okay insomuch as I could actually taste it, which is more than I can say for some other restaurants. The beef also had a nice browned outside, adding a hint complexity along with some grilled onions. I doubt the tortilla is made from scratch, but it was soft and appealing. In addition I was provided with a cilantro sauce as a condiment. It added a good note of complexity along with a squeeze of lime. Some hot sauce in combination with the cilantro sauce could be addicting. Pleasantly surprised by the steak taco. No frills, but decent enough and at a very affordable price point. RR6 in Framingham offers a great, attentive, hospitable owner and staff and some of the best Mexican food you can find. I have tried and tried to find fish tacos that were not dry and offered strong flavor. Good news, I found them! Their fish tacos come with a delicious grilled filet that is flavorful and juicy (if fish can be juicy). The grilled onions are a perfect match (to all their tacos actually), and I was so happy I ordered them. Try the two pork options as well (carnitas and el pastor). They are both just delicious! I cannot wait to return, as I think about these tacos all the time. read more

5 stars for the tacos. I tried a sampler of 6 tacos and they were all fresh and so delicious. Hard to say which is my favorite but probably Fish or chorizo. The staff was very friendly and attentive, they were also careful regarding our food allergies. The location and dining area are fine and comfortable but some areas did need work. The bathroom needs a fresh coat of paint in a serious way and the restaurant floor was unswept when we came in. Would also love to see a few Bourbons on the bar. Overall a nice experience though and I'm looking forward to eating those tacos again! read more

I was terrified that the Happy Swallow had been taken over and turned into another shitty wing place. Fham is overrun with that crap already. I visited Railroad Six on a Sunday mid-day and was delighted to find that it was exactly like the ol' legendary Happy Swallow, with the exception of some updated booths. Whew! Nothing could be more sad then the death of a trusty dive. A lil' new furniture gives it a shine, but don't be mistaken. This is the same wonderful townie bar it's always been, filled with the same ol' crowd: sports-watching guys, town drunks, the keno players, and all the charm of a local watering hole. The drinks are weak (measured), the music was blaring, the regulars were generous and friendly, and the bartender was absolutely sweet. I'll be back! read more

I don't have many positives about this place. I walk in and it's a ghost town, after work around 6/630. I'm the only one there and the bartender is texting. I asked if they were open...blank stare, I asked for a menu...blank stare. Finally she goes in the back and gets someone who speaks English and I get a $5 Bud light(this isn't Boston it's friggin Downtown Framingham for Christ sake) and a menu. Everything seemed pretty affordable for food but I was starving so I grabbed a couple street tacos. Two steak, one chicken. They were okay, a little bland just onions and cilantro on top. No hot sauce or green sauce or anything to be found, asked the bartender...blank stare so I just ate. Food is affordable, drinks are overpriced especially for downtown Framingham. If I wasn't in the area picking up plumbing supplies there was zero chance in hell I would have stopped there. read more

Stopped here for lunch. Really wanted tacos. Service was friendly. Food was delicious and fresh. Had the carne asada and carnitas tacos. Yum!!! Washed it down with a horchata served in a frosty mug. Delicious!!! Met the owner and he was also super friendly. Stopped by the table asked how we were doing and thanked us for coming in. I would definitely stop here again. And there was parking. This is no longer the crappy dive bar it used to be. We walked in because we love checking out new places. We were a little uncomfortable at first because we were the only non Mexican Americans in there. The regulars kept staring at us. The waitress did not speak great English but she was sweet and we were able to order a few drinks. The liquor selection definitely needs work. They had Tequila but no soda water to mix it with? I decided to break the ice and introduce myself to the owner Carolina. She was extremely friendly and was very proud of their new endeavor. The smells coming from the kitchen were heavenly!!! Next thing you know she is standing in front of us with a free sample of their seafood stew/soup! Oh my God! Delicous!!! I will definitely go here again and I recommend you give it a try too! They get 5 stars for friendly service and delicious soup! read more

Excellent food. My daughter loved the kids quesadilla and it was a huge portion. The chicken tacos were excellent. They need to work on their communication with Door Dash as the 40 minute estimate was really closer to 2 hours. However the food was so good that they still deserve the full 5 stars. read more

There are prison cells cleaner than the bathroom in this place. And all the shelves that hold the bottles aren't level, which made me laugh. But the blond bartender was a knock out, and she ignored me for the most part. Which makes this 4 star review go to a 5. read more

Terrible bar I won't even use it as a last resort. I paid almost $10 for an 8oz cup of Malibu and pineapple juice. Creepy customers and unprofessional bartenders. Trashiest bar I've been to..... Glad they lost their liquor license hope it opens the space up for something better. read more

A friend and I stopped in today for lunch. Where do I begin? The music was very loud, It was difficult to have a conversation. We ask to have it turned down a little bit, they turned it down for about 3 minutes and it went right back up. It was kind of pricey for lunch. I ordered the Hot dog plate. The Hot Dogs had been on the grill however they were lukewarm on the outside and cold on the inside. I could go on but I just want to forget about it!!!!! read more
