Following a car accident, I trusted Rich's Auto with body and suspension repairs. Daniel (office supervisor) and Julian (adjuster) were dismissive of my serious concerns. Rich's Auto subcontracted the suspension work to 'Super Shop,' who not only failed to fix the issues but also damaged the lower control arm. I ultimately took the car to Midas, where they immediately identified and repaired the safety issues missed by Rich's. I had to diagnose the body, alignment, and door issues myself, only to have Rich's staff argue with me and act condescendingly regarding their faulty workmanship. Rich's Auto Repair hired Super Shop for accident-related suspension repairs, but they only applied temporary, unsafe patches despite multiple attempts to fix it. After Super Shop repeatedly failed to properly repair the vehicle, I took it to MIDAS, who correctly addressed the issues and fixed the damage caused by Super Shop's negligent work.

Living in SF and having my car repaired in Merced isn't the most effective system, but they really are worth the 2hr drive! So long story short, the 3 estimates I got here were $1,600, $1,800 and $1,900 (I can assume it would turn out to be more after taxes, hidden costs, extra labor, etc.), and Mark offered to do mine for $1,400 out the door!! I'm going to Modesto for Easter (40 miles away) and because the shop is closed on Sunday, they offered to drop my car off at my dad's place, so I can pick it up while I'm in the area.
