When you think of a convenience store, you typically think of someplace where they have employees who are just passing the time, and good service is a rarity. This Dash In is the example of how things should be. I have never walked in the door without being greeted by at least one employee, the store and the parking lot is always clean, and the service is excellent. The location is a bit of a pain to get into. You have to make a U turn if traveling south on 301, and if traveling north or making that turn, you have to watch for cars merging onto 301 from Smallwood, as you try to turn into the store. It is worth the trouble, The owners of this store are often working there, and they are totally into customer service. It is rare to rate a convenience store, but this one deserves more stars than Yelp allows.

The line is often long so I have to wait in line to ask for what should be available at the pump. Why ask me if I want a printed receipt at the pump and not have it? It is a very simple thing. Then I put down a $10 bill and $10 in quarters (I will stress this point, it was neatly arranged in a freakin' quarter roll), once I placed down the roll of quarters, he went from just being unfriendly, to down right NASTY. He claimed that his register had too many quarters (first off, it was in a freakin roll) and then he just kept saying he wouldn't take it, it was unacceptable, and just kept being extremely rude about it. I said, look, it's still money? I said even that I'd take it out of the quarter roll if he wanted to count it. Nope, that wasn't good enough, and I finally got so frustrated with his nastiness, I just left the store and told him to put the items back. Honestly, I didn't even need to use the roll of quarters, I was just trying to get rid of some extra cash / change laying around my house. The guy was completely out of line, I'd never been treated so horribly by a clerk in my entire life. It was like... somehow I was the 'enemy' or trying to scam him? It was a horrible experience and I reccomend that you do not use this store if that guy is working, unless you like being treated horribly. It was decently early in the morning (around 8am), so if this guy is on shift, watch out! Personally, from now on, I was so shaken by this incident, I will never shop at the entire location ever again. Why when there are 4 other 7/11s within a freakin' MILE lol.
