Parents and I visited Las Vegas, from Washington State and California. My mother and I, are both x BFT Transit drivers. We were not impressed with the level of customer service from either Transit Drivers nor Transit Police. Neither want to talk to you lacking simple customer service skills. Hotel customer service informed us to take the Deuce bus to see Las Vegas strip. Trying to ride the Deuce bus from 4th & Fremont paid with CCard, Driver doesn't give out transfers. Driver pointed to kiosk to purchase $8 24hour pass. Driver said get off I got to go. So I have to dispute that bus fare with my bank to get the funds back. Did enjoy the trip southbound on the Deuce bus along the strip. Major disappointment, no ADA announcements. Didn't know you need to get off the bus at the Las Vegas sign to catch the North bound Deuce along the strip. Ended up at the transit center. Driver said everybody off and then the driver disappeared. Spoke with transit police standing outside the bus, trying to get directions going back to 4th & Fremont. We got directed to another bus that was not the Deuce bus. This had got us totally lost. We got to a part of the city we didn't care to see. RTC lacks adequate customer service from both their drivers and the transit police. So very sad. read more

I would rate 0 if I could. Drivers have little to no care for their passengers, and are consistently late. At this point, the only roadwork excuse is on Maryland. Otherwise, why are all these drivers so late on this route? My job starts at 7, and I consistently get to the bus stop on Sloan at LEAST 20 minutes earlier. Why am I consistently late to work and scared of losing my job because the RTC or Transit says my bus will arrive in 15 minutes, but I am constantly getting delayed. Either you guys need to clean house or retest your drivers to see if they can still pass an assessment. Also, why is it the few times I've fallen asleep on the bus due to the heat and late work hours, the transit security LOVES to come and wake me up otherwise "I will be removed from the bus" but I can see dirty, shoeless, and homeless people literally going to the bathroom on themselves yet I'm at fear of getting kicked off just because I'm tired. We wanted to try something different to park and get to a Raider game without paying the high event parking prices or using Uber or Lyft. We used RideRTC for the game day shuttle from the M to the stadium. It was super easy. I used the App and my husband just tapped to pay when he got on the bus. Women and children aren't off limits for mistreatment at the RTC bus transit company. It is February 20, 2026 and I only have been in Nevada for about 2 weeks from Texas. I never been so utterly disrespected before in Nevada because It took me about 3 hours to get on the correct bus to head home with my infant. At Bus 105 around 3:45 at stop 1662 or 1663 the bus driver got mad at me for my TRansfer pass not working and not able to pay with my other bus pass. Teenagers laughing at me in the background because of how RTC workers handled us. He told me to take my baby out and I said okay and mention I'd fold the stroller. He was getting aggravated with me because of a bus TRANSFER? He didn't allow me to use another pass and told me to step back and get off the bus. He said mam with a tone and left me and my baby in a 40 degree weather trying to get us to wait for the next bus. My baby was already sneezing and he didn't consider the two teenage kids that was behind me with their mother because my existence bothered him. We all go through things. About time people start defending women and children because men like that will start being okay with mistreating us with no consequences. I talked to the Manager and he was trying to rush me when I was explaining and he gave me another transfer but as I proceeded to walk away to caught my last bus home he goes tell another driver that he doesn't think I told the truth because my transfer pass was about 3hours ago. Are the Rtc workers lacking knowledge of how long it takes to wait for a bus or let alone travel in the bus. He didn't even consider how long I had to walk, routes I missed, and how long I actually had to wait to get on 105. I was a regular RTC bus rider for several years when I no longer had a car. There are many problems with the system that caused me to stop. One is the lack of security. The worst case was when a strange looking passenger was allowed to board on Las Vegas Blvd while carrying a large knife. I complained later to RTC but they said the law prevented them from doing anything about it. Bus drivers have also complained about not being safe. Another problem is the lack of service in some areas, or the need to change to another bus and even walk part of the route. This can be difficult for some people and even dangerous, for example if there is construction or other reasons why the walking part is unsafe or physically challenging. For example, I asked about one street in particular, one that intersects Las Vegas Blvd, and where there are many businesses and heavy automobile traffic. The answer was lack of funding and personnel, and no route was planned. read more

Bus route time change for convenience and F1. Who is this conveniencing? Me and several who typically ride on the same route as me have to either leave anywhere from an hour to hour in a half earlier just to get to work on time or have to find different bus routes. Not to mention F1 is still weeks away. Also by the way one person sleeping equals the RTC security evicting EVERYONE on the bus, because it's inconvenient to call the cops on the one asshole who's causing an issue that he has to punish everyone on the bus, forcing them out despite passing everyone off, having everyone squeeze into the next bus, and the worst part is the same guy who was causing the issue got on that bus and went back to sleep so overall the security did nothing productive besides piss everyone off by inconveniencing them. read more

Honestly rtc hires some of the most horrible individuals that hate their jobs! I'm so tired of it I've lived in Vegas all my life and to see how miserable most of these drivers are ridiculous. I had one friend get hit by the 217 bus in august another friend on the Boulder bus got the cops called on him pinned to the ground falsely accusing him of having a weapon when he was on his way to work. As of late, the amount of out of service buses that have been displayed on the Transit app is appalling. I understand having to work around delays, but when you have two buses pass in a row, how much are we going to have to work around???? The out of service buses should not be publicly displayed if they are not picking up passengers, and RTC is expecting far too much by having people get on a bus over an hour in advance just to show up to their destination on time. SPECIFICALLY the 202 is supposed to be every 15-20 minutes, so this wait, along with the buses showing up on the app but NOT picking anybody up is egregious. Either have a separate display for RTC employees for those on the route or simply don't display them at all. I downloaded the rtc app and brought a 7 day pass which was great as it expired on the day we left. I had added $20 which I called up the rtc and they credited back i to my account. We used RTC 202 and the CX everyday to get back to spencer street. It's a great system as u pay for as.long as you want. Bus drivers some were friendly as others seen alot of security guards on the buses it's good. read more

For the most part it's good, but they get super crowded and need more buses. Also there are drivers that'll skip stops making people late or when buses or nearly empty just drive right by you waiting at the stop. The price is fair for the drivers that actually do their jobs but for those who don't. They need to be canned, we pressed also pressed stop more than 20 times when we realized they skipped our stop. They drove us almost another 1/2 mile before letting us off. read more

10.23.24 Hands down the worse driving experience I've ever had. All the drivers are absolutely HORRIBLE. I don't know where they got their license to drive. Between slamming on their brakes, flying down the street and passing up riders, this DVX bus driver has used his Horn more than 20 x's in one single ride today; driver has no sense of where he is going, the route was supposed to detour but the driver took the direction route because this isn't his normal route so he followed the normal route direction. I was more than an hour late to work and I've been at the bus stops since 6:15 AM; I didn't get to the BTC until 8:27 AM which is absolutely ridiculous; people are missing their appointments and court hearings because of thsee drivers and their lack of knowledge. RTC go ahead and hire some Robots to drive these buses because these humans can't do it anymore! read more

We took the RTC Game Day Express to the Raider's game, & it was so easy! We parked at a local spot and rode a nice, clean bus to Alligent Stadium for the game. The ride was smooth, comfy, and quick. Between the Gunshots Yelling Alcohol consumption and horrible customer service calls you better pray before boarding any of these buses! I've even witnessed a lit cigarette being smoked and the driver did not care! Transdev is the contractor that employees RTC drivers. They are also no help in addressing these issues. This is the most disgusting and ridiculous transit system ever. How you gonna say the bus is 12 minutes away and it takes 22 minutes to hit the stop? The stops are always filthy with trash or urine or rotten food. Or there is no shelter and this is Vegas so you're just cooking in the sun waiting 2 hours for a bus to show up. The fact that they let unwashed, unsanitary people on the bus should be enough to not charge a fare. I pay $3 to ride next to stinky Sam and Covid Cathy. The buses smell like pee, the floor and seats are sticky. And it takes forever! It takes 15 minutes to travel a quarter mile. The routes don't have enough buses or drivers because sometimes there's a bus missing from the schedule. That creates a bottleneck that last all day because now the bus stops are overloaded with all these people who have been waiting for the previous bus that never came. Completely full bus and the driver felt the need to stop for 5-10 mins at EACH stop. What was supposed to be a 20-25 min ride took nearly an hour after waiting for over 30 mins for a bus that the app said was AT the stop. Additionally, the app is hot garbage. We bought 2 tickets in the same app and didn't know you had to or HOW to "activate each ticket". The app gave us the option to activate one, but the ability to activate the other was BURIED in the app settings. Of course, the driver had no idea. Use ANY other ride service if you can. I get bus passes through my work and it's a reduce fare pass.I have never had a issue before until I get to the south strip terminal on 2-5-23 at 10:19 am and on bus 122 to head towards Henderson and the bus driver would not let me on the bus . I have been taking the RTC busses for years now. I recently had issues with trying to purchase a bus pass. I went to a Walgreens near me, and they said that they didn't have any bus passes. I then went to 711 and they said that they didn't have any either. I was having a hard time getting to other locations where to buy the actual pass. Cause number 1, it's been super hot outside and I only went to the closes 711 and Walgreens that's by me or on my way to work. Normally I will purchase the passes on the RTC app, cause it's simple and easy. But I didn't have any cash in my bank at the moment. I didn't have my debit card cause my bank was sending me a brand-new one. The cash was from a friend. So I would have had to purchase a pass at a location. I thought maybe the actual bus would give me a seven-day pass. They do give twenty-four-hour passes and a day pass. All you do is put the money into the machine on the busses and the paper pass will come out. So the other morning, I mention to the bus driver that I needed a seven-day pass. In my mind, I thought since that they had given twenty-four-hour passes and day passes that they will have the seven-day pass. Those passes are twenty dollars. I figure if I put in the correct money, it will just have the pass. Cause the buses don't change, it has to be the correct dollar, like 5 dollar bill. Two dollar bills, three dollars bills. Instead of my crazy self waiting for the bus driver to respond, I put the twenty dollar bill in. She tries to tell me to don't put that twenty cause they didn't have any of those passes. And that they don't sell them on the busses. Only the day and twenty-four hours. I was like, "OOPS.," The lady bus driver was nice to give me a few twenty-four-hour pass. She said that maybe I can sell them. I only was able to use one for the next day and all the rest went to waste. So that was a waste of twenty dollars. I wish that there were a way that the RTC busses can give the money back. I'm sure this has happened a lot over the years where the person wasn't able to get change or their money back. They should also sell all types of passes on the buses. RTC needs to fix that issue. I wasted my twenty dollars. Couldn't get that money back. read more

Bought a ticket on a Wednesday. Tried using several times. Busses came every 30-45 minutes (and sometimes in pairs), not the evert 10-15 min. This was at every stop I tried. Two of the stops that I wanted to use on the strip were closed. One stop, the buss let people off before the stop, and then just rove by. The second bus was full, and people were entering the back (not through the ticketing front) just to get on. Not everyone got on the busses, and many left (like me) and just walked. Not worth waiting through several busses and still not getting on. I called, but they didn't seem to care about fixing anything, even though they were supposed to be monitoring the routs through the drivers. Excluding the cost of the ticket, I seriously lost a few hours waiting on the bus. read more

I didn't get the drivers name yesterday on the 110 Eastern leaving Horizon Ridge & Eastern, I ride that bus 6 days a week from N Lasvegas to Henderson to work. Well there were like 4 of us waiting, the driver was inside, he opened door told us, this bus is out of service yall have to wait on nx, but your all welcome to come in n wait in the cool, 1st driver I've met that has done that. He also proceeded to come n talk with us all, because nx bus was suppose be in 20 mins, but it was also late, so was a good 30 mins we were inside bus, very friendly, listened to a couple complain bout other drivers, he made a good point, when we were telling him, some busses don't even come, have to wait a whole hour on nx because one before just never showed up, he made a good point, "the driver" said that one missed bus of someone being late to work , could be there final warning or they fired, n all because of rtc bus never showed, they could get evicted , no food for kids, who knows how just that 1 missed bus could devastate someone's life, luckily I have a understanding supervisor because I'm late at least 3 times a week out of 6 because of late or no show buses, He also told us, yea were on the clock sitting in air all day, we shouldnt disrupt others job flow, if we can help it.
