Don't hesitate to ask someone if you need help navigating the rail system. I found both passengers and staff helpful. More people riding mass transit will help Mother Earth and your bank balance.

The Walgreens is probably pretty convenient, too, if you fancy making sure your flu shot is current before exposing yourself to public transportation and all its associated pathogens.

I saw this bus, which looks very much like a prison bus, picking up some people from Vic's Espresso on Broadway a few times last week. I wondered what that sign emblazoned on the front of the bus: "Disruptive Thinker Transport" could possibly mean. So I remembered over the weekend to look it up on the internet and I found out a little bit more about it. Of course....this ad agency has come up with something to get everyone who sees it thinking and wondering. That's one of the clever things a good ad agency does. This is one of our top ad agencies nationally, according to the articles I found when I did my search. Convenient stop to get to Fiddler's Green for a concert. Just that the last train is too early to stay for the entire concert usually. So better to drive. But I took a train for the light rail and just left the concert early. My friend dropped me off at the train station but it directed her to the parking garage across the highway so I had to take the elevator up to the crossing enclosed bridge and down the stairs on the other side. Well lit, just lonely. The train platform had some people waiting but they left on the train before mine. There were some people just hanging out and I made sure to be aware as I didn't like the loitering. I don't know if I recommend that station. It's a bit too lonely for my tastes. Didn't feel quite safe. No businesses nearby and no Rtd police. Made me re-think my decision.

However the busses aren't always clean. Sticky floors and floors littered with trash or dropped food. Some people will talk loudly on speaker or their music without headphones. Nothing is enforced. I suggest paying online. There is a restroom. It's very small, yet clean. However bring lysol wipes and hand sanitizer.

Wish the connectors to the I-25 Express Lanes opened longer but that is a fault of the I-25 Express folk and not the US 36 Folk. Transponders and tolling are handled through E-470. You can use lanes without a transponder but just like E-470 you will be charged Pay By Plate fees. US 36 transponders are used state wide so that is a convenience - even on the NW Parkway. Overall, so far so good. We'll see if it stays the same as more people find out about it.

Since I was only going to be here one time, I wanted to be sure I activated the speakers correctly to create the sounds in order so I could hear the melodic tune. Don't think I was successful... People are constantly on their way to or from the station and have to walk through this tunnel. The cacophony of noises emanating from the speakers was music to my ears for the short time I heard it. I can see how it might be bothersome to some people. It was sporadically busy during the entire time I was there. I was getting stared at because I was trying to activate the speakers and record the sounds. I was probably in the way of travelers. Some of the pillars play bells ringing and others play sounds from nature like birds squawking & chirping. TIP: You need to pass by fairly close to the speakers to activate them. Just as I was about to give up, a nice sequence of dings, chirps, squawks, & bells began to play! I think the "Art" had mercy on me or it was programmed to play at certain intervals. It's located on S. Monaco Pkwy. Light Rail trains & buses are the mode of transportation here. This is a Park n Ride. If you are catching a bus, you just catch it from near the parking lot. If you are catching a train, you need to go down the stairs or ramp, through the tunnel, and go up the stairs or take the elevator to get to the platform. The tunnel crosses underneath the I-25. I would have taken the train or bus to any other station, but time didn't permit. It would have been cool to see all 30 art installations in the Denver area! You can ride free during July & August because of the "Zero Fare for Better Air" Campaign.

I don't much like walking in the tunnel but in broad daylight I felt ok. I had to wait for another train as the one I wanted to take was pulling away as I came up the stairs. There are some weird acting people who wait at this station. Made me feel uncomfortable and I watched them. One of them came too close and I made sure to not have my back to him. I feel like the atmosphere in the trains has changed with the free rides in August and I don't plan to ride anymore. Luckily the location I work at is different for a while and I can drive.
