Hello, I was…read morerecently in the market for my first road bike. Given my budget, and general desires, I was particularly seeking a pre-owned road bike. I spoke with Luke over the phone and visited the store several times. He was very busy, running his business, but patiently took time to answer ALL of my questions. He walked me through the differences between the 3 different price points I had. I ended up with a sweet road bike. I my bike our for a couple of rides already and everything functioned as it should. They also took a really good final look at the bike before sending me on my way. I really appreciate that level of thought, care, detail, professionalism. I do recommend supporting this bike shop. I scheduled an appointment and had a nice gentlemen named Diego come out. Due to mold we had an environmental study performed by an expert firm, he wanted a copy so I emailed it to him. There is significant damage and Diego also was suggesting other services such as drywall removal repair etc. I told him to get me the quote for the mold removal as that was urgent and I had already been told that I should not use areas of my home due to the mold. when he left he said he'd get me a quote by the end of the week. End of the week came and went, I waited another week thinking ok maybe they wanted to read the environmental report. NOTHING. So I called a left a voicemail, no return call, I sent Diego a email at his ecoclean address, NOTHING. SO they came out and wasted my valuable time when response is urgent due to mold, even if they called back at this point I dont trust their services. Even if they are not qualified to do the work, how hard is it to return a call and say this is out of our area of expertise. Very unprofessional.

I highly recommend Jason to anyone looking for a plumber - he's really one of the nicest plumbers I've met and he'd clearly and patiently answer any questions you may have. RTT just finished upgrading my road bike and I couldn't be happier. I brought it in hoping for some updates to bring my 2002 LeMond Zurich closer to 2016 technology. Andy was laid back and didn't even attempt to talk me into a complete new bike. He understood what I was looking to do right away and quickly worked with me to pull the list of components that made the most sense. THE PLACE TO GO TO GET YOUR BIKE WORKED ON!!!!! This is a great place to go to get your bike tuned up or fixed. We have 2 Trek 700's that are 20-plus years old and they ride like new again. Andrew was great as he explained what needed to be done to each of them and what he charged was very reasonable. We got them both back when they said they would be done, just one week turnaround!!!!! I brought an old bike in that hadn't been used in years for a tune up. It was making noise in the gears. When I brought it home, the noise was still there. I called and the owner came out to my house and explained what this issue was-it was my ignorance on shifting the gears all the way. RTT Cycle Shop is the only place to purchase a bike or have it tuned up. Andy Almazon, the owner is very knowledgeable and gave me a extremely competitive price on a bike for my wife, accessories and a bike carrier. I called him out of desperation after Spokes in Wheaton wanted to overcharge me $450 to replace tire, tubes, chain, seat. Instead it turned out to be simply a tube change and grease on the gears -- which I suspected. Jim even put baby powder on my seat to make it non-sticky after a move dinged up the seat. Can't say enough good things. He works out of his garage. He smokes a pipe. He prefers you to let him work while he works on your bike and then you ask questions. Nick was busy but agreed to have us bring the bike over and he would fix it straight away. He took the bike downstairs and said to go have lunch and he'd be finished in about 20 minutes! We never left for lunch because we had such a wonderful and informative conversation with Tom- the other "half" of this fantastic team. Both Nick and Tom were as enthusiastic about E-Bike riding as we are and are involved in advocating for safe and sane E-Bike regulations. Paid a fair price for the tube replacement but Nick gave more. Went over the bike and tightened and greased and then came outside to my husband's bike on the rack and did the same inspection and service at no extra charge. They have lots of E-Bikes of every variety in stock and you don't have to worry about support after purchase-which is difficult with some imported bikes because shops don't want to work on them. He spent a couple of hours with me fitting me correctly, narrowing down my riding style, and letting me ride a bunch of bikes. Once you get to know him, he's WAY friendlier then people give him credit for. I've never had anyone give me the attention at any bike shop like he did to make sure I bought the right bike. After the purchase, he took 20-30 minutes and went over every nut, bolt, and adjustment on the bike before I took it home. He's also a paisano, so we got to speak Italian with each other, which is hard to find around here!
