I couldn't even form an opinion... I tried multiple times to book them after using their service once, recommended by a neighbor. Their truck still comes to our street to service our neighbor but never got back to me after some truck/van repairs... overall communication is bad, replies takes days, if you get a reply. My dog is a large Saint Shepherd, 125lbs+, and they do a great job grooming her! My dog hates the vet and refuses to let the vet even touch her, let alone clip her nails or clean her ears. Sorry for a long review, but I cannot recommend Michelle and Rubber Duckie Dog Grooming enough! (Read to the end) This is the BEST experience with a pet grooming, bath and deluxe treatment I have ever seen in my life. Sparky (is a 15 year old Shepard mix) is mostly an outdoor dog and in the dirt and grime all the time (she was starting to smell bad) and desperately needed a good washing; however, with her health declining and her age, I was hesitant to have this done. Sparky has a hard time getting in & out of the car for car rides now and seems very sensitive to the touch around her back and spine. I contacted Rubber Duckie and Michelle responded via email almost immediately. She said it would not be an issue and that she assured me she would treat Sparky with the upmost care and pay attention to these sensitive areas and her special needs. Michelle also kept in constant communication of scheduling, how much the cost was and what all was included in the package. She even texted me the day before as a reminder. (How I wish more companies were this attentive and professional). I was so worried that Sparky would not be able to get up in the van and handle the physical part of the session, but "Oh, how I was so wrong!" When completed, Michelle had me come over to the grooming van and Sparky was running (almost prancing) around the property like a young puppy. I could not believe how SOFT she was and clean! It was amazing. I almost was in tears seeing how well I could tell Sparky felt. Sparky smelled so fresh as well. Her teeth were cleaned and her ears as well on top of the massage bath she had. Michelle also trimmed her nails. The most hilarious and amazing thing we witnessed was Sparky wanting to go BACK IN the van! She can't even get up steps. Sparky followed me over to the van and jumped right up those steps and went back inside the van herself. That right there is a miracle AND it tells me how much she is happy to go back in. This is not the case like when you take the dog to a vet. They are scared and nervous, cannot wait to get out of there. NOPE, not this scenario at all. Sparky liked Michelle so much too. She kept going back over to her to get petted. Michelle taught me a lot about the service and how it really helps the animals (especially in their later years) because it is good to keep their muscles massaged and keep the dog cleaned. It is healthier all the way around. I have already referred Rubber Duckie to 4 different people I know and I have Sparky set up for another treatment spa day at the end of the month. Please please please try this company out. It is worth the money (which is super reasonable) and it is convenient! You don't even have to leave your house. I would give a 10/5 if I could! I have taken my malti-poodle to so many of the high rated groomers in the SFV area, but none compare to the quality, efficiency, and customer service provided by Michelle. My dog usually is extremely upset and shaken and has even had uneven haircuts due to her "difficulty" but Michelle made sure my dog was comfortable and took the best care of her. She also gave my dog the best (!!) haircut I've ever seen on her, with rounded paws, in less than 2 hours. My close friend has a Pomeranian (I received a referral through her) and also cannot say enough good things. Both our dogs have never had better groomers!
