I have something to say to the person who wrote the last review. Its so easy to write anything online...true or not and I know alot of people that have been to this amazing salon and spa ( including myself) and they are amazing. The people that work there are very friendly and give the best experience possible. As far as you saying something about them being all out for money and scamming people...the first time I went there I went to buy shampoo and conditioner and one of the girls and the owner talked to me about the different products. Both of them went out of their way to help me and even gave me a bottle of an oil that was half full to take home with me to try because they dont have testers...and this product was not cheap. So you say that they are all out for money and scammers? I beg to differ. I think you are just a little upset because you didnt realize how much it was gonna cost...so if you plan on going to a salon and spa like Rubertos, you should have enough in your pocket instead of trying to get a service for less after the service has been done. I have seen it so many times people going into places...getting exactly what they want...dont want to pay full price...and then complain to get something for free...or a discount. Thats pretty sad. I have been a resident of the Marina Del Rey complex for six years. I have been going to Ruberto Salon and Sweeta and her team since then. I have encountered and experienced nothing but professionalism, respect and amazing hair colours, keratin treatments and facials. I depend on Sweeta and her team of girls for all of my spa needs. The prices are equivalent to what you would pay at any higher end salon. If you want a cheap haircut / experience go to First choice. They always accommodate last minute requests, treat you like family and have even come in on a day off to make sure that I get my services done to my convenience. I think so highly of them that my husband also goes and my best friend. I read the previous comment with amusement about the rip off. First of all I wouldn't deem anyone's opinion serious who does not have even a basic command of the english language. The spelling is atocious and using a swear word has me understand the type of person who wrote it. This is a first class quality salon that I would recommend and have to anyone. read more

I have been changing hair salons pretty much every year. Since I went in to Ruberto Salon. I have to say, they offer the best customer service. The minute I walked in, the entire staff greeted me with utmost respect, offered coffee and snacks. As I was not sure about the hair color and cut I wanted to get done, Sweeta (salon owner) provided me with an hour long hair consultation. Then they gave me the best hair color and incredible hair cut!!!!!! Since then I am a repeat customer!! I have been getting so many compliments on my hair cut and color and I have recommended this salon to all my close friends. This salon offers the best customer service and provides incredible salon services. Also, recently I got deep cleansing facial done there as well. I had my hesitations of trying a new salon but because I just moved into the area, I thought I would give it a shot. The minute I walked into the store, I was greeted by Sweeta who made me feel welcomed with her warm and friendly smile. Her staff did a wonderful job with my hair and EVEN my boyfriend noticed the subtle changes (which he LOVED) and he's usually the type to not notice things unless I give him hints! From the final outcome to the friendly staff and the warm ambiance of the salon, any doubts I had about this place was instantly erased Not only am I excited to move into a vibrant area but also thrilled there will always be a place for me to go for my hair needs! Prior to Ruberto Salon, wherever I went, I can't say I was ever satisfied. At Ruberto Salon the staff were nice and friendly. Sunny (a manager) offered me a drink and kept me company while I waited, which was something I wasn't used to lol Sweeta, who did my eyebrows made me feel comfortable before she started threading. When she was done, she handed me a mirror and I was quite impressed with the result. It looked natural, even though she took a big chunk from my bushy Persian eyebrows LOL I didn't look feminine like before, which was always my biggest issue, since I'm a dude lol I'm sold and I'll recommend Ruberto Salon to anyone! read more

I can honestly say as a male I've never put much concern between a salon and a basic barber shop. Then I went to Ruberto. I can genuinely say I'll never go back to basics. The staff of Ruberto varies from skilled experienced stylists to fresh new talent who are just as amazing. I have never felt so looked after, I had needs met that I didn't even know I had.
