After several phone calls and Monique at city carting admitting to multiple mistakes on their part and even stating they would provide us with a credit for their mistake, we did not receive any money back. $3000 is a large sum of money and has put us in a difficult position. They also took a ton of miscellaneous household stuff out of my house and out of our neighbor's basement. It's basically a metal scrapyard, which is fine if that's your business, but it's also a junk store, which is great to pick through if you're weird like I am. You will find computer parts, test equipment, etc. The problem is it's just sitting in open sheds so you will have to check it out carefully before you buy. Most of the items in the sheds are quite dirty, and it's scary navigating your way through the narrow aisles. I enjoy the hand-written admonitions on the wall like "Don't steal". Prices are a little high, but I think it's because these guys mostly want to deal in scrap metal. If I lived closer I would probably hang out here way too much.

When I got to their store, I walked in first to mention that I was there to recycle a lot of items.
