I took my order to go and by the time I got home it was a little cold but that's not taking a points off here. My complaint here is the bagel just seems, underwhelming. The filling just seem wimpy and I got more bagel than a balanced breakfast bagel. It's really disappointing to be eating a lot of bagels when I wanted a balance. Finally, this would all be ok if the price wasn't so high. Seriously it is a bagel filled with the most basic ingredients. The new hey bagel place that has a line out the door is cheaper for bagels.

Any percentage they charge will get deducted from tipping and discourage us from coming again. 2. They no longer validate parking in the garage behind it since several years ago. Street parking is limited and painful sometimes. 3. They exited Resy network a few years ago - that was one of the reasons we kept coming. 4. The food is still good but the quality is declining. The "+add brisket" option which costs $10 on top of the Mac and Cheese was the driest I've had in many years. They also removed menu items like duck chicken liver mouse which were really good.

we walked into a mostly empty restaurant at 5pm on a Friday and after asking how we were, they asked for the name of our reservation. Not having one, I asked if this was going to be a problem. After some investigating, we were taken to a table that the host made clear he had to have back at 6. Not being in control over how fast the kitchen is, would make it difficult to commit....but we did anyway ;) AND they seated us RIGHT next to (maybe 2 feet from) the ONLY other people in the section. The entire other side was empty, but they felt it best that we get to listen to their conversation. Our server Jonathan was Great. Calm, cool, collected, knowledgeable and just rolled his eyes when I shared the time limit. He suggested some great options, pointed out the most value and flavor and was quick to make anything right that did go as hoped. Our pasta dish took a while and arrived a bit dry and cooler than if it had been picked up right away....but it was still delicious. All in all I would A) make a reservation cause apparently you get better seating options buy doing it their way vs just dropping by. B) Shoot for happy hour, because if we would have paid full price for the pasta I would have been VERY disappointed. C) Pack your patience. Those seated around us all had something go wrong with drinks or dinner so bring extra or learn to roll with it ;) read more

Yesterday, we visited this restaurant for the first time. I really liked the atmosphere and the beautiful interior, which I especially appreciate in restaurants, especially in America, where this is quite rare. The ambiance was great, the service was excellent, and everything was brought to us very quickly. The drinks were delicious, and everything was beautifully presented. The only thing that surprised me was that the tip was already included--20%, even though there were only three of us. Normally, I prefer to decide for myself how much to tip. It's not that I'm stingy with tips, but it's just nice to have the choice, especially in situations like this. By the way I am so thankful for the service and atmosphere. read more

I visited Rubenstein Bagels on a Friday morning with my family, and it was a fantastic experience. I ordered the Double Down, which came loaded with lox and capers--super flavorful and satisfying. The bagels were fresh, chewy, and had that perfect texture. The atmosphere was really welcoming and open, with plenty of seating even during the morning rush. This restaurant is exactly what Redmond needs. I've been here twice and I feel like I'm in Seattle or Bellevue.
