Service is a little slow because it's just a guy and his wife working on their own but again, the wait is worth it, everything tastes fresh. Not that there's anything wrong with Tofield, I just haven't had a reason to visit before now. The cafe is in the centre of the town rather than off of the highway. We each had the daily special which was a fried chicken folded wrap plus cream of cauliflower soup. The soup was excellent. The wrap was delicious as well although probably larger than we needed. We chatted with the owner as he was very friendly and interesting. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. They are licensed to sell alcohol as well as the food and coffee. The establishment is much larger than it looks as there is another section in the back that is not readily apparent when you first walk in. Talk to the owner about motorcycles and you'll make a friend. I'm sure that we'll be back. After all, Tofield is only 45 minutes from Edmonton.
