She was able to be very competitive in price, which was a concern so I gave her my business. It has been refreshing to work with someone who took the time to make sure that I received the best policy. In addition, whenever I've called the office, she has the best staff. Crenshaw Agency is the most unprofessional and careless agency I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I accidentally switched my coverage to liability when I meant to keep full coverage. The agency was supposed to correct this, but they never did. I didn't find out until after I was in an accident -- only then did I realize I had been left without full coverage because of their negligence. When I contacted the office, Ruby Crenshaw was completely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She actually told me that I "should've checked my email to ensure the policy was switched over." That's unacceptable. I've always paid for my policies in full, and this was the first time I ever made payments on one. I relied on the agency to handle their job, not to throw the responsibility back on me. What is the point of having an insurance agent if I'm expected to manage my policy myself? Instead of taking accountability, Ruby cursed at me and even hung up the phone multiple times. That is not how you treat paying customers, especially in an industry where trust and reliability are critical. Because of this, I will be reporting this agency to the Insurance Commissioner. No one should ever have to deal with the level of disrespect and negligence I experienced here. Crenshaw Agency is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and UNTRUSTWORTHY.
