Went back immediately to have my nails fixed. Nail tech was happy to re-do them. Went with a different brand and color of polish this time. A little while after returning home two of my nails are bubbly again. UGH. I've never had this happen before, very disappointing. UPDATE: Third trip in two days. A different tech repaired my gel manicure. Very appreciative. I was also fortunate enough to speak with the owner and he made me feel better about the poor experience. I will now return next month to give Nailology another chance.

The owner of Q Nails sis my nails crooked and didn't even cut my nails or cuticles. I stopped in at Elegant Nails without and appointment and was seated right away with one of the nail techs. Her name is Katrina. I told her what I wanted with length, shape and design and she delivered! She did such a good job and made sure to make everything even and did a wonderful job with the flower design I asked for. Will definitely be back! They have stamp cards so you get a stamp for every visit and eventually can save money on one of the services once the stamps are filled.

However my updates specifically are focused on gel nails and nail art along with their policy and service. I got my mani with nail art on Dec. 20th. Just a few days after, my finger nail chipped horizontally. Two days later it broke off taking most of the nail and art with it. A few days after that, so around only 10 days after getting them, my middle finger paint and nail art lifted from the front, chipping off. On the same left hand. Two nails next to each other could be coincidence but to me indicates something wasn't properly applied. I called today (2 weeks after getting them done) and they said within a week they will fix for free and anything after that is on me. With the holidays I will agree ideally I would have called sooner but I was out of town so no way they could have fixed the two nails anyway. The front desk girl didn't seem to care much about thinking through the actual situation instead of just repeating someone told her while I was on hold. Bummer. In all my years of getting nails done I haven't had issues so quickly after a service and especially with any nail art up charges. But more importantly the way they responded to my call today confirms I will take my business and tons of my friends that I bring with me, elsewhere.

I have been going there for several years and am always impressed with the manner in which they treat all their customers- especially good with older people like me. The lady that called them crooks is terribly mistaken. Try losing a gift certificate for any business and then call them on the phone to see if they will honor the missing item. If this lady had simply brought her Aunt into the shop and told them what happened, I am certain they would have accommodated her. They are honest people just trying to make a living by providing outstanding service- especially to older clients. They are gentle, respectful, and kind. She called them "Malaysian" and said they spoke rudely to her. Did not happen. She needs to go into their shop and explain what happened- not talk to them on the phone as they do not always understand our language.
