First ever visit to the new, beautiful Nailology on 192nd. Went in for a gel manicure. Was home for 30 mins and noticed several of my nails were bumpy and uneven. Went back immediately to have my nails fixed. Nail tech was happy to re-do them. Went with a different brand and color of polish this time. A little while after returning home two of my nails are bubbly again. UGH. I've never had this happen before, very disappointing. UPDATE: Third trip in two days. A different tech repaired my gel manicure. Very appreciative. I was also fortunate enough to speak with the owner and he made me feel better about the poor experience. I will now return next month to give Nailology another chance. read more

Did not do a thorough job at all. No attention to detail. pedicures was 30 minutes max. It was completely rushed. Not worth the $55! It looks like I need a pedicure and I just had one. Had skin left hanging off my toes. Just really bad. read more

I have visited the salon twice now and loved my service each time! The staff is super friendly, and the salon is gorgeous. I did gel-x during my last service, and it was such a great suggestion from the staff. Acrylics have always felt so heavy for me, and with gel-x I felt like they were more natural. The team did an excellent job and I'll definitely be visiting more in the future. read more

Went in for a powder dip manicure. Was talked into a gel manicure. Very disappointed. Price was never discussed. When I checked out the price was double what I normally pay for a powder or gel manicure I was told it was due to the fact that it was "A gel build up" manicure. Did not know this. My nails look awful. Big bubbles on each nail. Does not look natural at all. I did call and complain about the surprise price. I was given this very long explanation as to why it was over $60. Still not happy. I will not be back. Save your money! Don't go here. read more

I usually only come to this salon for one tech who did an amazing job each time with my manicures. The last few months she has been gone, so I have had to try other nail techs. I've been disappointed each of the last three times I've gone. The last two times my nails were completely shaved down from the length they naturally were which makes my nails look so short and stubby each time. With how they've been treating my nails, they have been braking and chipping a lot with the slightest movement such as closing a door, ridiculous. I came in today for a redo of my nails from the previous time and couldn't be more disappointed. I have been doing dip for over a year now, which I have enjoyed. My nail tech, Asia, made me feel dismissed about everything I mentioned about my previous appointments, including not wanting my nails shaved down like they were last time. Despite this, she then proceeded to shave my nails down completely to the point where they were bleeding (in multiple areas) and the side walls were nearly gone. On top of that, when removing the dip product the tech popped the product off with her own nail, which added to the pain of the appointment. After this painful removal, I felt strongly persuaded into getting the builder gel, which my nail tech assured me was the best instead of my regular dip appointments. Overall, my nails feel damaged (and hurt as I type this) and I feel unhappy with the customer service I received for the price I payed ($72 with tip). read more

The youngest and I went back today and they removed the original set and did a whole new set and ensured we were happy with the shape and design. I must say these nails are 1000x's better than the original. We both ended up getting gel x which are lighter and not much shaping needed. I used to come here to get my toes done every single month and it was great for about the three months that I have been going there for I finally thought I found the spot the last time I came there with my mom I got my toes done and the lady that did mine hurt me so bad that I felt like I wanted to scream during the whole process I have tried to tell her that it hurt and I was sensitive, but she didn't seem to understand. She made my nails, very narrow and oval and the color chipped within a week. This really ruined my experience here. read more

I've been once for a pedicure and a separate visit for a gel overlay manicure. Both services were great with attentive and meticulous technicians. My manicure was the best I've ever had with perfectly shaped nails and expertly applied gel. I've been to many nail salons in Vancouver--some were very good, but Nailology is hands-down the best yet. read more

First off , we've made this appt 2 wks ago, for 2 pedis and 1 dip mani. Our appt was at 11:30am, we were greeted right when we walked in, she was very friendly and attentive , I specifically asked her if we'll be done by 1pm, because we had another appt elsewhere. She said yes sat us down to our pedi station . Nobody updated us or say anything about the late start, we didn't start on the pedi until 12:20pm! And the other nail tech didn't know how to do the magnetic gel on one of the pedi and kept having to ask for help to fix it, my MIL'S pedi did not turn out as we wanted , wasn't like the sample we showed her at all, but it was too late. We paid 75$ for a pedi that she didn't even like . Her mani was supposed to be done same time as our pedi so we could walk out together , that didn't happen either . I had to leave her there to finish, and come back for her an hour later . Total bill was $215, with a 15% tip, and honestly we won't be going back , they should figure out their staffing and coordinate customer appointments before taking walk ins , and communicate better. It is a nice and clean environment, but that is about it, It's all for show . Quality of mani and pedi would be a lot better elsewhere. If you're currently going to a place that you like and they are consistent with you, I'd stick to them, don't try this new place until they get their staffing and organization figured out . read more

I booked an appointment for me and my mom to both get full sets and for me to get my face waxed and by the photos you would think that this place would have high-quality nail technicians. I'm here to tell you everyone who works at this nail salon is extremely underqualified. They suck my nails were thick chunky clumpy lumpy. The shape was terrible and the nail tech were also rude and when you tell to fix something or that you don't like it, they just keep doing the same thing. I also got my face waxed and now I have this disgusting rash on my face because the lady waxing my face didn't prep my skin. When I contacted the owner and asked for a refund, he offered me $25 off of my next service and told me that he couldn't refund me because it's taking money out of his pocket. Do not go here. If I could give 0 stars I would. I got my nails done on Saturday at my usual nail salon. After sitting with the color I chose I realized I didn't like it at all. It was now Sunday and my usual nail salon was closed. I thought it was the perfect chance to try out the new place that recently opened, Nailology Lounge. Don't let the fancy decor fool you. It was the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. I asked for a simple color change. The man that attempted to do my nails had no clue what he was doing. He didn't remove all of the bright pink sparkly polish off my nails and attempted to repaint white over it. You could still see the pink all along the line of my cuticle. I politely tried to point out that he needs to take all the polish off first. Even the worker behind him had a wtf look on her face as she watched what he was doing. Another lady came over to teach him how to do it right. She had one hand done in 2 minutes flat. Then all the workers came over to see talking and laughing. I felt humiliated. She had to take over and just finish removing the nail polish herself. An hour later the job was finished. I walked up to the front to pay and they had the audacity to charge me $30!! If I was in charge I would be embarrassed to make someone pay anything let alone $30 for such bad service that should have taken 10 minutes to complete. Beware!!!! read more
