The fish and chips were basic as they tasted like regular frozen fish fillets. My son reported that the seafood pasta was a little too salty. I ordered and picked up the scallop and shrimp dinner. There were 5 small scallops and 5 very small shrimp. I ordered lobster bisque as one side with an up charge and a baked potato. The potato was also quite small. The food tasted ok but it definitely was not an $18 meal. It was a huge disappointment. read more

Ruby Tuesday is a casual restaurant chain that sells appetizers such as spinach artichoke dip and chicken quesadilla, main entrees such as burgers and baby-back ribs, and a small selection of desserts and beverages. My husband and I ate inside this location of the restaurant one time for lunch. The seating hostess promptly seated my husband and me at a table. Soon our waiter arrived and took our orders. I noticed that they both wore their face masks around their chins. I did feel happy to see a container of hand sanitizer near the salad bar. The salad bar cost only $5 per person, and it included many ingredients to assemble a tasty salad as well as ready-made potato salad, macaroni salad, and some fruit. For our entrees, my fish and chips consisted of somewhat thin fish filets (my husband commented that they almost looked like fish sticks!) with tartar sauce and crispy French fries. My husband ate a chicken sandwich. He does not like to discuss his food, so he simply said that this sandwich and the accompanying French fries tasted "fine." His drink was raspberry tea, and it had an extremely raspberry flavor that he liked. The waiter did bring a drink refill. The waiter also bought out our bill promptly. The total price was $41 plus a tip. He thanked us and told us to have a wonderful day. Never have been satisfied with this restaurant. Service was awful. Ordered my daughters food first. So she could eat, than we ordered apps and dinner and drinks. We got our apps .... and than my husband and I got our dinner ... my daughters dinner came LAST. And it was COLD. The birthday drink I had ordered for myself, came LAST. (Margarita) I felt like I had to rush drinking it due to it coming so late in my meal. Although our server was kind, he was def spaced out and not attentive to any table in his section- to the point where strangers were asking each other when they had arrived and why the food was taking so long. Other sections seemed to be doing better, as in, food arriving in a timely manner. Absolutely no spices in the pasta and tasted frozen (and he got Cajun). I was disgusted. Sadly, this used to be my favorite restaurant. The last two visits though, have soured me to the restaurant. Last week, eating in, our baked potatoes were slathered in sour cream, despite being ordered without and the to go order we placed with our dine in order was never sent to the kitchen. Today, I called in an order. Before ordering, gave the coupon code to the person answering the phone and asked a specific question about the order and based on the server's reply - placed my order. When I arrived to pick it up, the bill was 16% higher than what it should have been. When questioned, the manager on duty said, the coupon couldn't be used. She apologized and said there was nothing she could do. I explained that I asked specifically when I placed the order and she responded that the server should have asked her before saying yes. I could have left the food, but not a fan of wasting, paid the higher price and left. Since when can a manager not make an order right? I guess you have to ask a manager when ordering because apparently the servers don't have the training - or support of their supervisors. read more

Well what can I say. Service was the absolute worst I've ever had. The waitress never came to check on us during our visit. Our drinks ran low. It took me twenty minutes to get a refill. We waited 40 minutes to get our food. When they brought the food out they forgot mine. So I had to wait extra time while everyone else awkwardly received theres. The food when brought to the table everyone complained was either cold or lukewarm. In addition I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. No seasoning on the chicken and the chicken was chewy. Not appetizing at all. Food was bland and cold. It's the type of food you would serve in a retirement home or a prison. In addition our waitress, swiped our cards got the receipts and then disappeared to the back of the restaurant. Which is concerning considering how often information is stolen. Cherry on the cake. The table behind us who waited the same amount of time as us got their entire meal comped for their wait. I can only assume this was due to our table being a group of younger individuals. Beyond disappointed! Do not eat here! It's a complete waste of money and time. However side note, I did take the plate of food I couldn't eat and gave it to my dogs they loved it! The food here is decent but way too overpriced for what it's worth. I like the coconut shrimp and the chicken sandwich here but they are super greasy and dripping in oil. The peach sangria from here is yummy though and was much more affordable than the food here. Ouch the restaurant is getting pummeled by bad reviews so want to add some positivity here. Yes some of their food items could work on their presentation (coconut shrimp are brought out on prison-style metal trays and it looks very sad and funny at the same time but they taste good so we do ask our waitress if they can make it look a little nicer.. and they do, no problems). Yes it is not a high end place but the staff is nice, everyone is trying to be helpful, I really think they are doing their best, they care about their jobs and not slacking off. Someone said in a review that the food is overpriced, which is not true. You get what you pay for and I think for what you pay you get a great value. If you are unhappy at this restaurant there are other higher priced restaurants, but for what it is set your expectations accordingly and you will be happy with your experience. Wish I could give 0 stars! I usually don't do reviews, but this experience was ridiculous! Arrived at 1:05 pm, seated promptly. Ordered within 5 minutes of being seated. Food (3 people in our party; 2 ordered pasta & 1 ordered a burger) arrived at 1:57 pm. 52 minutes to get pasta & a burger! The burger had a gooey, disintegrating bottom bun, and the side of fries portion looked like it was a toddler's meal. I asked for more fries, which were brought, but were room temperature. Needless to say, the fries weren't eaten. The manager heard me say we had been waiting almost an hour for our food (she had helped the waitress deliver our food), but no apology or discount was offered. By the way, none of the toilets in the women's bathroom flush properly. In an attempt to use one that didn't have "stuff" in it from a previous person, I looked at all of them, proceed to flush all of them and none of them flush everything done. Disgusting! My family and I eat here a lot. There are very few commercial chain restaurants in our town, and we are lucky to have this one. The food is always top notch. They change the specials each season, keeping things fresh and new. Any time I've had an issue, they have worked to correct it and often gone above and beyond what they needed to (such as giving us a free meal). I know Ruby Tuesday is a fast casual chain, but I at least expected this to be a pleasurable experience. I was out with my family and they were all raving about how great this place was and how the food was amazing. So I decided to give it a shot and sided with them to come here to grab a bite to eat. I thought what could go wrong. Was I ever dumb for thinking that. When we arrived it was not busy, that could have been a good indication of what was ahead. When we were seated and menus handed out, we ended up short one. What was something so simple to fix actually turned out to be something ignored. I waited a few minutes to see if I would receive a menu and when I did not, I got up and went to the server station and grabbed my own menu. Now, remember when I said that this place wasn't busy? Then why in the world did it take our server so long in between actions? We had a good long wait between everything. Order drinks, wait ten minutes. Order a salad, wait ten minutes. Want a refill, wait ten minutes. I mean when I looked around the rest of this place, everyone was just hurrying up to wait. When we finally did place our order I opted for the salad bar. I love a salad bar, I love to make myself a huge salad and then complain afterwards that I shouldn't have eaten such a huge salad. What a disappoint this was here. When I walked up to the salad bar I just about fell on my ass. The tile flooring in here was slippery, from what, who knows? When I went to grab a plate it was a good thing that I examined it. It was dirty, not just a speck of dirt, but like dried egg yolk that you needed a knife to scrap off dirty. As I was looking at the plate one of the managers came by and saw me doing this and without saying more than, "oh, this needs washed" kept walking. No apology for the inconvenience, no explanation, just more of a let me ignore the fact that my restaurant is a mess. I will never get a salad here again. You have to pick through items to make sure you are not getting wilted greens. Also, I'm assuming they make their croutons in house, which can be a good thing, but not here. I don't make croutons often, but I'm fairly sure that they are not suppose to be soaked in oil and soft in the middle. As far as my entree, I ordered the Colossal Burger. It is a decent amount of food, but thrown together rather poorly. A total of a pound of meat between 1 1/2 buns, some Swiss cheese and cheddar, lettuce, onion. The burger patties were bland, needing some type of seasoning and everything was coated in grease. I felt like I needed a wetnap after attempting this thing. Came with a side of fries that had more seasoning that the burger. When it came time to pay, that was another debacle. We asked for the check to be split a few ways as we were all paying separately. When all the checks came back, one of the credit cards were missing. That's a bit shady regardless of where you go. They just brushed it off as it slide out of the book and under the register...yeah, right. I needed to use the bathroom before I left, but I didn't feel like ice skating on the tiling. I now know why there are far and few between Ruby Tuesdays in the state of PA. If service and food is presented like this throughout, that explains the lack of this restaurant expanding more than what is already is. I guess my experiences have been vastly different from everyone else. I've been here about 15 times in the last couple years. I actually did have good service most of the time. A few times, such as days when parents dropped off their students at IUP or on certain weekends with events at Kovalchick, service was definitely slow. So if you plan to eat here, make sure you know what else is happening in town to make sure you don't go when it is super busy. My food has always been good at all Ruby Tuesdays I have been to, including this one. I have gotten a wide variety of food from the menu, such as their new pretzel burgers and flatbreads (both amazing!), their peppercorn sirloin streak, the gumbo, fried chicken sandwiches, and of course their cheeseburger sliders are my go to meal. The sides are usually good, I like how they not only have fries (which I do like of course), but also healthy sides like asparagus, zucchini, broccoli, seasonal veggies, side salads, etc. The best unhealthy side dish is the new Mac and cheese, but it is soooo good! I would eat that as a meal itself. Since there are a lack of good chain restaurants in Indiana, I do recommend going to Ruby Tuesdays when you don't want fast food or to eat at places like Eat n Park or Perkins. read more

But the food was actually disgusting....the burger I got was not only undercooked. It was not put together right at all. Every drink we got had a dish watery taste. And my girlfriend got the $15.00! Well, Im not a huge fan of Ruby's like I said before and this particular Ruby's has always been horrible. Well today, I can say it is a bit better. NOT MUCH but a bit. Met friends there because they had premium drinks for $5.00. I did not plan on eating here since I can't stand this specific Ruby's.... but a friend ordered the PoBoy flatbread and it was OK. For bar food, just fine. Not bringing the in-laws here anytime soon but for $5.00 premium drinks it was just fine. They still have a lot of work to do here. Maybe someday... :) read more

I can't say that we tried the food here. We literally walked in, smelled the bad odor and had to leave after a few minutes. The red carpeting was black in spots and you could tell that cleanliness was not a priority for the management. I hope that this post will provide incentive for the owner to invest in making some necessary improvements. read more

Went to dinner there last night ..had my husband, daughter, and her two kids with me. They where not busy..but set us at a table in the corner big enough for 10 people. We ordered, and 10 minutes later got the kids food..30 minutes after the kids got there food we got ours..now anyone who has been to dinner with kids, age 3 and 1, knows that when the kids are done the kids are done. Was very disappointed with the wait, and even more disappointed with my dinner ....3 out of the last 3 times I ate there my shrimp was super well done, the steak had good flavor, but looked bad, I only ate a couple of bites. My daughter enjoyed her food my husband ate because he was hungry not because he liked his food. I do not know what happened to this restaurant, it used to be the place to go. The salad bar is very good and very fresh, but as for the other food it really went down hill. I am hoping it can go back to the standards that it used to be. I want to give Ruby Tuesday a higher star count because I generally like it. I've had good luck with the shrimp and smaller steaks and some of the appetizers. And we have been lucky with service for the most part. Over the years and recently too, we've had some very nice wait persons who don't seem to hate their jobs. However, the last few times we have gone, probably over a year's time, the restaurant stinks. I mean, it smells rancid in there. First time I noticed it, I thought maybe someone had gotten sick at the table we were sitting at. We moved and it didn't help. I found over several visits that it doesn't matter where you sit, the place smells really bad. They need new carpeting and then they need to make sure it is professionally cleaned on a regular basis. read more
