tl;dr: It was okay... Stopped in after a day spent out in the cold with kiddos stopping at all the local public parks to tire them out for the day. We learned a few days earlier that this place would actually be open on Christmas Eve, so we decided to make this our final stop before heading home. Though over the phone they told us not to worry - it wouldn't be busy, so no need for the call-ahead seating - it was a whole 'nuther matter once we arrived. Luckily, we were still able to get our party of 7 sat down reasonably quick. For a TR, the food was as good as any other I have been too. I will mention that the steak seemed a bit smaller than the one I normally frequent in FL, as well as the portions for the pulled pork, but it was still more than enough to make a meal out of. Unfortunately, however, my wife's meal and that of our niece came out wrong. My wife asked for her loaded mashed potato without bacon, and it came with bacon, and our niece wanted her mashed potato without gravy - it came with gravy. Thankfully, the waitress adjusted the bill as they didn't eat any of it, due in part to the service... Though the waitress was personable and did fix the bill, the main reason we didn't send either mashed potato back to get it fixed was that the waitress was mostly MIA during our dinner. By the time she did drop by, we were practically done so there really wasn't a point to send it back. And if I recall correctly she stopped by one other time, and then a subsequent with the fixed bill. A bit disappointing. Texas Roadhouse in Greensburg PA is the BEST Texas Roadhouse we've been to (and we always go to the local one whenever we travel). I'm told they are a training facility. They are efficient and do a great job. Everything is always delicious!! But I suggest you order a steak. One word of warning, this one is EXTREMELY popular. I hadn't been to a Texas Roadhouse in yearsssss! I used to come to the Greensburg location all of the time when I was in high school. So here I am, almost 20 years later. My mom and I stopped in for lunch after running errands. We were able to be seated after about a five minute wait. Our service from start to finish was great! I ordered the chicken critter salad (my favorite) and my mom ordered the "sides" platter (you can choose 4 sides to create a meal). All of our food tasted delicious- just like it always did. The atmosphere on TRH has not changed and it brought back a wave of nostalgia. Overall, I will come to this location again and again. Great experience! read more

There wait ahead system is awful. You get there and are told that you're on deck but they actually have multiple places to be on deck and multiple people with each of those places who are also on deck. So the estimated way time was actually close to double the quoted time. We were seated and the waitress was nice, but there were huge gaps of time when we didn't see her. After ordering our meals and eating some bread or salads came out. I got a Caesar salad,which was just bland. Dressing had no taste, and the croutons were fat bombs without much flavor that realized grease when you bit into them. On the plus side the Romaine lettuce was crisp. It took an extraordinarily long time before the entrées came out. I wish it had t come out at all because mine was so disappointing to look at - definitely the saddest plate of food I've seen in a long time. See the attached photo. That's how it was placed in front of me. I hadn't touched it before I took a picture. Everything was brown. Not even a couple of sprinkles of parsley flakes to add a touch of color And it was a hot mess in presentation . I ordered the herb crusted chicken. I received the driest piece of chicken I've ever been served. The steak fries were just OK (but also dry) and had more herb seasoning flavor than the chicken. i ordered the steak kabob which has a limited amount of steak to stsrt with. i ate the sweet potato first which wad delicious. as i started the kabob , the first piece of steak was tough and mostly gristle . i continued hoping it would get better. it didnt. the tough steak was covered with tomatoes that were black and killed any good flavor. the server was quick but didn't ask if i wanted mushrooms on top and appetizer wasnt served with sauce i asked for. i showed all the gristle and tomatoes to the msnager on her second walkby. she said she was sorry several times. i mentioned the server mishaps and she said hmmm we usually get compliments on him. i wasn't leaving as a happy customer. I realize the place was packed on a sunday afternoon amd most customers were probably content. My concerns were real and i eexpected minimal compensation at the least. i was probably teice this girls age. please dont insult me by saying most people like this server. you dont have to worry about them returning and she obviously didn't care if i come back either. shame on you read more

Absolutely Awful. As a guest at this location for at least 4 years. Today was the final straw. I order the same item every time. 20 oz bone in Ribeye. Every time it comes out the wrong temperature ordered. Today's experience was the worst. Ordered medium rare. The first attempt came out medium well at best. The second attempt came out blood rare and very cold in the middle. The manager offered to take it back and cook it up. But honestly how many attempts do you need ? When it was brought up of how they never seem to be able to get it right. It seemed to be taken with a "no care attitude" if I'm paying $40 for a steak and tipping at least 50% on top of that I would have a more of a guest focused attitude. It seems the kitchen manager and cook are not guest oriented. Perhaps more training is needed and more attention paid to the details are in order. Unfortunately after 4 years of trying I've decided to take my hard earned money elsewhere. I will miss the service from Karen at the bar. But I was going there for the steak. We were ready to order an adult entre each and our sidekick offer using separate checks per couple, when the server said that you could only use one coupon per table. Nowhere in the fine print of the sidekick offer does it state that only one offer is valid per table. We love Texas Roadhouse food and service. I ordered online and did a pickup. The order was ready a few minutes early. I had checked online that I needed silverware. When I returned to my hotel, there were no silverware or napkins. I had ordered a rack of ribs and soup of the day. No spoon for the soup. The soup was broccoli cheddar and was good. The ribs were decent. I felt they were a little dry and overcooked. Fabulous yet again. Called ahead to get on the waiting list. We got there and were seated within 5 minutes. There were about 5 other families waiting to be seated. The place was packed like it normally is, so we expected this. Drinks and rolls came out within 3 minutes. Order taken within 5 minutes. Food came out within 10 minutes, and drinks were constantly refilled without having to ask. I ordered the prime rib medium rare. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Nephew ordered the same medium. We were both pleased that both steaks came out perfectly. Service was exceptional. Place seems to be always packed, which I understand. This week our family decided to have dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Greensburg, after having not been to this location in at least a year. Let me tell you everything was great! Just as we had remembered it being the other times we ate there. We did have a short wait before we got our table. As we sat down they served hot buns with cinnamon butter and we asked for some peanuts too. Our server was excellent and on top of refills of drinks and everything. I ordered an 8oz steak with a baked potato, it was cooked perfectly and delicious. We will definitely stop here again! read more

Well let's be honest, never fun to get into Texas Roadhouse. Packed all the time. We waited about 20-30 min on a Thursday. I definitely recommend checking in online no matter when you go. four stars because the wait staff is awesome! Our waiter, Rock was great! We have also been there and had Chandler wait in us. She's awesome! The food was ok. My bbq chicken, salad and rice was good. On the other hand, my husbands steak was full of fat and not edible. He liked the broccoli cheese soup and rolls of course! Our family loves dining at Texas Roadhouse Greensburg is the closest to us, but we have been to others on our travels. Texas Roadhouse is perfect for families with children, older persons, couples, etc for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend you join their email club and download the phone app. The offers are great and the waitlist on the app is perfect for call ahead. It gets crowed at times and having an idea of wait time does help. It is well worth the wait. Gift cards help to absorb some of the cost. I like giving them to family members so they can bring their families here. Once we are seated, a server is right there to take our order. I have never sat for more than a few mins before a server has come to the table. Carly our server the other day, was so happy and bubbly, it made my day. The food is great, service is great ! I love everything on the menu. Texas Roadhouse has become one of my favorite steak houses. I like it better than the Outback near us. I like Long Horn, but for a better steak and better service we choose, Texas Roadhouse. I love the Hot Rolls with Whipped Butter !!! We always take a few home ! Review based in several visits. Ambiance is that of a chain steak house. Waitresses seem to be well trained. They have a real gluten free menu although not alot of sides are GF. Steaks were cooked to perfection the last time we were there. Previous visit the salmon was a bit overcooked. Drink menu is good however the bartenders vary in skill. Texas Roadhouse has a great way of making family-sized meals for carryout of individual orders in the restaurant. We got a family-sized Chicken Critter order complete with french fries and Caesar salad and tons of the best bread and butter ever. We had a fantastic meal together and had a fantastic time celebrating my mom's special day. Texas Roadhouse was very organized and efficient with carry-out orders. I was out visiting family and came in for dinner in 3/18. It was crowded but we found a seat at the bar. We were greet promptly by the male bartender and had our drinks within minutes, he suggested an app during the drink ordering so we opted for the Texas Blossom. The app came out in short order and the entree orders were placed. My steak was cooked well and the sides were hot and fresh. The food is one of the reasons for the high rating but the service deserves most of the praise. Being in the industry myself it takes quite a bit to impress or depress me..lol..and these 2 bartenders were on point the whole night. Suggestive selling, engaging, keeping drinks full and when we ordered a togo, informed us of the wait time and kept us in the loop during its cooking process. Another awesome experience at Texas Roadhouse! Their booths are nice and spacious so it works perfect for my nephew who needs a booster seat alongside my sister and brother in law. The music is always great and not too loud, the restaurant clean and dust free (except for some peanut shells on the floor) and the food always spot on. Unlike the Bridgeville location which gets unbelievably busy, this location is a bit less crowded so we are promptly served, given fresh rolls upon arrival, drink refills when needed, etc! We got fried pickle chips, then I got the Beef Tips over rice and my sister got the Filet Mignon steak salad. She loved her salad- her steak was cooked perfectly, this is the first steakhouse I have been to that literally cooks medium steak correctly! The fried pickles are what dreams are made of. They are lightly battered, still hold a good tang, and come with either spicy blooming onion type sauce or original ranch - I go with ranch because I think it goes great with these tangy pickles. They also come in a nice portion size for 2-4 people to chow down on while waiting for your entree. My beef tips were phenomenal- very tender bite sized beef pieces in a thick brown gravy with sautéed onions and mushrooms, next to a large helpings of seasoned rice (you could choose mashed potatoes instead but it just not a huge fan of them here so I decided on rice this time). The rice was one thing I could not figure out- did it taste like Chinese fried rice? Did it taste like jambalaya rice? I really couldn't tell you but I would say it's a smoky, spicy (not too spicy) rice with chopped caramelized onions throughout. And it was awesome with the beef tips. My boyfriend got 1/2 rack of ribs with 1/2 roasted chicken and loaded baked potato and was in heaven. They truly are fall off the bone! He took half the meal home it's just too much food! If you haven't tried TR, you are missing out on one of the Seven Wonders of the World and you need to get your butt there ASAP. Their food is phenomenal, there's something for everyone (vegetarian/gluten free/pescatarian/Paleo, whatever lifestyle you have!), and the service is excellent. We love the Texas Roadhouse Greensburg locations because the food is always consistently delicious! My husband and I did the call-ahead seating through the app on our phone and waited less than 5 minutes for a table once we arrived. My husband ordered the rattlesnake bites and the manager brought them out to us and apologized for the poor appearance of the food. She told us that she put in an order for a couple new bites to replace the bad ones, which she held true on her promise. At the end of our meal, we found out that the rattlesnake bites were removed from our check. Mind you, my husband and I never complained once about the appetizer. The customer service is outstanding at this location, and the managers and staff always greet us with a smile and are super friendly!
