Stopped in for a late lunch last Saturday and was taken a back by the poor nature of the salad bar. The lettuce had turned, many items were empty and no one seemed to care, although numerous people had asked for items to be refilled or freshened up. There were a lot of employees standing around doing nothing except chit chatting with one another. The most impressive in this group was who I'm pretty sure was the hostess. She was talking to what appeared to be a friend. When customers were requesting items from her she continued to shoot the proverbial shit and responded she was working on it! 100% props to Shelby who was running the bar, waiting tables and ultimately restocked the salad bar while everyone else stood around as if they were stunned by someone multi tasking and getting the job done. Bottom line, whomever the manager was on Saturday should be fired and replaced by Shelby. This business has significant leadership issues that need to be rectified. The salad bar is the signature item for this restaurant and the first thing you see when you enter. Only an idiot would let it deteriorate to the state of neglect we saw the other day. I really hate to give such a lousy review but am very unhappy with my last visit. My mother & I went March 1, for lunch, we were immediately seated in the "far area" next to a huge party enjoying their lunch. There was 1 woman & child on the window side who was talking to a Ruby Tuesday employee who is sitting with them in full uniform. Was this employee on her break? She never looked my way! Finally the server taking care of the large party beside us stopped & asked if we needed drinks, we ordered 2 waters. She brought them & we just got 2 salad bars, salad bar was good, no complaints there! Returned to our seats, no silverware! Found some on a nearby table so we had our lunch. Sat there for 20 minutes after we were through and no waitress. The one working the window tables still would not look our way! We finally got up to leave & no one was working at the door. I caught the Bartender's eye she apologized & fixed a ticket only charging me for one salad bar. Beyond endless fast food joints, we don't have a lot of restaurant choices in Lebanon, so I hesitate to complain. This was just so rude and the restaurant wasn't even crowded! read more

Tried to have dinner there around 5:50 pm on 8-31-20. Dining room was open as well as their salad bar. We were seated by the bartender who was very nice and said he appreciated our business. We sat until 6:15 without being greeted by a server, the dining room was not busy maybe 4 or 5 tables total for 2 servers. Considering my husband get up at 3:00 am for work and we live in Mt. Juliet we could no longer afford to wait. It was clear that we were not of any importance and so we left. One more thing to note, even though the salad bar was open and disposable gloves were required and supplied by the restaurant to handle the utensils, Not one patron was wearing a mask. My wife and I had the Salad bar for lunch around 1400. Now knowing my wife she eats salad i saw all the goodies and added it all...lol... We left to go home to Smithville , my stomach started to rumble. By the time I got home Unfortunately my stomach was upset and I had runny stool. We took a nap I thought i would feel better got a little nausiated but it settle. A few hours later, I drank a glass of water within five minutes projectile vomiting 5 episodes. I thought was it, so I drank a have of glass of water and here we go ago 5 minutes worth of vomiting. The stomach content was the bell peppers, chopped onions and brown liquid. Your guess is good as mine. this morning I haven't drank anything so not sure just feel unsettled. Being medical for 34 in the USAF emergency rescue service, I know my wife ate none of these items, so? maybe keep an eye on this and the dressing sitting out. This was our first dinner during our family vacation, as we had just arrived in Lebanon a couple of hours earlier. I suggested Ruby Tuesday when I noticed that it was one of the local restaurants. I'd eaten at other Ruby Tuesday locations and never had a bad experience, so I thought this experience would be okay, too. Big mistake. We arrived at about 7:45-8:00pm on a Saturday night. There were only a handful of other people in the entire restaurant, including the bar area where we sat. 0/5 for food. I ordered the Bourbon Glazed Salmon and it was horribly slimy and clearly undercooked. At this point is was already approximately 9:00pm. We had driven all day long and waited for our food for over 45 minutes. I opted not to eat the salmon rather than send it back. I likely would have waited another 45 minutes for a new piece. Again, the restaurant had very few patrons so I have no idea why our meal took so long. My mother in-law ordered a salmon caesar salad and she was served a chicken caesar salad. Clearly the cook's fault, as the waitress verified multiple times that my MIL ordered the salmon caesar salad. She even verified her order as she set the dish on the table. The lettuce in the salad looked to be about a week old. So brown. 4/5 for the customer service. The only saving grace about the entire meal was the friendly wait-staff. Meal was terrible. We are at this Ruby Tuesday in Sunday, May 19,2019. I ordered the meal for 11.99 with a side salad bar. The romaine lettuce at the salad bar was wilted with brown edges. However, the servers were in the progress of restocking. The brown croutons, my favorite, were very stale. I asked the waitress to restock some fresh ones, but that never happened! Our food took about 45 minutes to read h the table. We were with friends and the conversation made it not seem so long. Every time the waitress came to the table, we knew it would be a long time until she came back so we tried to take care of all our requests. It took forever to get out check. So I was at this location Ruby Tuesday on 10/28/19 around 5:30 In the afternoon . As I walked in the hostess looked at me like I was bothering her . But I let it go . She sat me at a table but first had to move a broom and dust pan that was leaning against the table . I ordered the all you can eat salad bar and the two chicken sliders with fries . The salad bar was stocked ok.... however much of the food on the bar was very close to being frozen . The diced ham actually had ice forming on it . But over all the salad bar was ok . Then they brought my chicken sliders . I was expecting a sandwich (slider) with a nice small piece of chicken . What I got was a bun over toasted and a chicken tender that had been torn in half and placed on the bun . That was my slider . And of course with each bit one piece of the chicken tender would fall off the bun . It was ridiculous. The fries were extremely salty . And all this for 18$ ! It was overpriced and just not good . This is one of the reasons the chain is dying out ! read more

Terrible experience. Understaffed, We we were sat in the bar. Our drink order was immediately taken by the bartender who introduced herself as our server.Then a different person came and took our order. We never saw either of them again, until after our food was delivered. After waiting for approx 45 minutes, (I never got my soup) the person who brought the food to the table literally slung the dishes in front of me with no concern of who got what. We both ordered a very expensive steak, one medium and one medium well. both were undercooked. No one came back to check on us. We sent them back,but only after we called over the waitress who took our order. We waited another 40 minutes for our steaks at which time they were delivered overcooked, dry, and the plates were so hot from sitting under the lights that they had to put another plate underneath them. The rice pilaf was mush and so salty, I could not eat it. We asked to speak with a manager, and he NEVER came out. we were not the only people with issues several people who ordered to go food were waiting well over 30 minutes just to have their orders come out incorrectly. The bill did get adjusted but only after I said I wasn't paying. When we were leaving, we walked past the salad bar and it was filthy. Unattended a mess with empty containers absolutely no lettuce. The entire ordeal was a nightmare. The only saving grace was even though overcooked the steak had a nice flavor which I enjoyed.. read more

This is my first time at Ruby Tuesdays and I really enjoyed the meal I ordered. I got the turkey burger with fries and it was well seasoned. It did take a long time to get our food, at least 35-40 min but it was lunch time and busy so it was expected. I will definitely be giving it another try and maybe order steak or salmon and see how it goes. read more

Before I start Id like to mention that being a food and beverage manager I am very and I mean very patient when it comes to dining out. I truly understand how sometimes service can just go all wrong and all the factors that are tied in... however this was hands down the worst experience I've ever endured in the 10+ years I've been managing. To set the scene... is around 7:00pm Sunday evening (12/9). Our visit began with a rude greeting by the host. He was more concerned with watching the game that was on the television in the bar than seating us. When he finally decided to take us to our seats...he took us to the back of the empty restaurant and sat us by the restrooms. Did I mention the restaurant was empty? Oh and that my elderly grandmother who can barley walk was with us? Something about that doesn't sit right with me. Either a lack of training or the guy was more concerned with running back to the bar to watch the game. I'll just assume both because it's common sense to not make a disabled person walk far. We finally take our seats at 7:15pm.... we wait... and wait for our server. No one comes. About 20 mins goes by. In this time the manager and multiple servers have seen myself and my family sitting there with not even a glass of water in front of us. I think to myself surely the manager has noticed this... a server will be by soon to take our order. I'll wait patiently. 7:45pm still no service. I take the liberty to get up from my seat and walk to the bar where the manager and bar tender are hanging out chatting over a cup of coffee. Host guy still standing there head cocked back watching the game. Asked if we could please he some service. The bartender gladly put his cup down and came over. I will say this gentleman was very nice and eager to help. He got us started until another girl finally stopped by. I'm assuming she was our server and more than likely was on break when we got sat in her section. I decide to get over my frustration on how our dining experience started. Our order was in... we had waters... and the food will be there shortly. Our food arrives to the table. Everything looked wonderful except for the mistake I ordered. My fault though.... I should of known better than to order pasta that more than likely is cooked in a bag and slapped on a plate. We all start to eat. Both my mom and grandmother are excited about their seasonal sweet potatoes that we paid 1.99 extra for. They both go to dig in and neither of them were cooked. Both hard as a rock. So I decide to ask my server if we could please have two more new sides. That the potatoes weren't done. She looked at me like I was crazy until I picked up my fork and showed her that you couldn't even stab it. She then understood and helped us out. After that point all seemed well. We even stayed for dessert. Which was the best part of the night I might add. The bill finally comes. I decided I probably need to look it over seeing as how our server didn't ring in our food. I wanted to make sure everything was correct. Ofcourse it wasn't so I asked our server to make it right. I could tell at this point I had asked for one too many things. I also knew that I was being that person that every server despises. However, I just wanted the bill to be right. Reguardless the total. Overall, I would say this property has a lot of work to do. It may just be a Ruby Tuesdays, but I would hope this chain would understand it's not everyone's top choice these days. So I would hope that great service would be at the top of their priority. It's common since that service makes the meal. Maybe they should look into new management? Better training procedures? Or maybe even just standards need to be put in place? read more

I'm going to start my review by asking you to do me a favor. Yes, you. If you've been to this Ruby Tuesday location in the past and you were disappointed in the quality of the food or the service that you received, give them another chance. They deserve it! Before you ask, no, I am not affiliated with Ruby Tuesday in any way. The reason that I'm asking you to give them another chance is because I've personally experienced the turnaround in quality that this location has undergone. One year ago, I had one of the worst dining experiences at this location that I believe I've ever had. The food was terrible. The service was terrible. The whole situation was so bad that I didn't step foot back inside ANY Ruby Tuesday for more than six months. Earlier this year I was taking my Parents out for dinner. Mom wanted to go to Ruby Tuesday. She's diabetic, and their menu offers her more choices than just about any other restaurant in town, especially with the incredible salad bar. It took quite a bit of convincing to get me to go there...in fact, I had already made up my mind that I was just going to pick at my food and then stop and get a burger somewhere after we left there. I was all set to be "that customer", you know the one that complains the whole time about how bad everything is. By the time we left, the only thing I had to complain about was my own attitude going in. Our meal was incredible! This year on Father's Day, the one-year anniversary of our horrible experience, we decided to give them another shot. Once again, the experience was well beyond my expectations. I ordered the Smokey Mountain Chicken at the recommendation of Kristi, our awesome Server, along with the White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes and Baked Mac & Cheese. By the time our meal was over, my plate was so clean that it looked as if it had already been washed. Dad's steak was cooked perfectly. Mom ordered Chicken Tenders, which weren't even on the menu, but they made for her anyway. The entire meal was perfect! You know it was a good meal when your only complaint is that you ate too much! :) To say that I am impressed with the job that General Manager Carley Lutz has done with turning this restaurant around would be an understatement. She has improved absolutely everything...the quality of the food, the quality of the staff, even the little things that go unnoticed sometimes such as staffing levels and morale. Ruby Tuesday has gone from the place I avoided in Lebanon to my favorite restaurant there, thanks to the efforts of Carley and wonderful servers like Kristi. So if you are like me, and you've had a bad experience at Ruby Tuesday before, don't hold it against the current staff. Give them the opportunity to show you that they are indeed one of the quality restaurants in Lebanon. You'll be glad you did! read more

The food and service was good but the restroom had a sewer leak and the sulfide gas was so strong that it burned my eyes and throat. This is dangerous to breathe and especially to children. I absolutely love the salad bar here. The basil pesto tilapia was perfectly cooked and proportioned. I had to drop a start off because the broccoli was not cooked well at all. It was almost as crisp as the fresh broccoli on the salad bar. Toby the waiter even had the broccoli cooked again and the new serving came out the same. Well let's start that our waiter Toby was exceptional, friendly, and accommodating. The salad bar was almost perfect.. But no cherry tomato's, who does sliced tomato's? Now to our meal, I had the New Orleans Seafood with a side of broccoli and white cedar mash potato's.. I was pleased with the Talapia seasoned pretty good as well as the shrimp on top.. Never had white cedar mashed potato's... they were very good.. the bad thing on the plate was the broccoli was almost raw.. I am use to it melting in ur mouth and to the point where u could chew it with ur tongue. The reason for the 3 stars.. the tea seemed very watered down as if it was tea flavored water (I am an expert when it comes to tea) the Broccoli, and the crab cakes the gave us seem very doughy... Now I am comparing this Ruby Tuesday with the one on Donelson Pk in Nashville, Tn. Which is almost 5 stars.. there crab cakes u can smell them before reaching ur table.. but let me say this I will probably come back to this location again.. the waiter did go out of his way to please us.. he asked the cook to try the broccoli agan.. but still didn't work out... thanks Toby read more
